Poor support after sales

Very powerful ACs (Almost immediate cooling), Driving pleasure. Diesel version is very powerful and trouble free.

Handling feel is good. This car turn in basements in one go where Alto has to do a few forwards and reverses. Power steering ofcourse but more importantly its ability to take U turns in narrow roads almost effortlessly.

Car is a bit broad by looks but great flow while driving. The car has a good clearance on humps unlike other low lying cars.

My drive route is from Indira Nagar to MG Road Bangalore. It is almost always in traffic on weekdays. In spite of which I am getting a mileage of 13 with ordinary diesel. The car is hardly 2 months old, and mileage seems to be improving. With premium version of fuel the mileage is nearing 14.

Cute features like holders for spectacles, first aid holder. Interiors are not as good as Cedia but you are anyway paying couple of lacs lesser in the petrol version.

Vertical grills make it a visual delight and gives you a must go for a drive feeling.

Speedometer and Odometer displays have racing texture material. However, the displays are not all fancy. Could have been better.

However metal gets dented pretty fast. Much more easily than other cars. For e.g. Other day while waiting for a signal a bike lost its balance while standing still and leaned on my lancer mildly. The dent was disproportionate to the visual impact.

Metallic versions of car are costlier to maintain in case of dents and seem to be having corrosion issues if left unrepaired.

Showrooms provide carpet mats which are good in appearance. It would be better to get rubber mats. These are cheaper in retail chains like Big Bazaar.

Bangalore - Southern motors HM division has very poor support. I would not tell that about their Mahindra and Ford division of Southern Motors. Southern Motors HM people offer quite a bit before sales, but do not live up to the levels of Maruti showrooms. Southern motors has a good servicing unit who are responsible enough about the car.
