      Hi guys,

I bought this BEAST in Sept 06 after coming back from UK for good and was my PRIDE & RIDE till July 09. Unfortunately, had to let go of it when i came to US, coz my stay could have been for more than 1 year.

It is really the best piece of art as mentioned earlier in the reviews and there can not be a second thought of not buying it again. I just came back from States and you can just imagine by the fact that have already booked same car, same color.

I had the honor of riding the RED COLOR CEDIA SPORTS for over 84k kms, that too under 3 years and believe me the after sales and service thingi which every consumer think about has never ever been a problemmm. Fuel efficiency never went down below 10 and on an average was between 11 - 12 depending on road conditions. Delhi to Bombay NH8 got little less than 13.

If you really want to know Mitsubishi and Volkswagen their engine never give any problem till 300,000kms easily.

Mits. has really done amazing work with the new interior and exterior look which has directly moved this beast to upper level... The only thing which would have been the choco toppings on an mouth watering ice cream is 130 bhp instead of 115...

I never had any problem in past 3 years in riding this BEAST and trust me its a BEAST... If you have guts of driving this beast no matter where you are driving this beast will outshine every other carhim And just to let you all know it goes from 0-155 km/hr in less than 1km. And the top speed i have driven upto is 245 km/hr with 250-255 km/hr on a slope. Now thats why I call it BEAST my PRIDE & RIDE. around

Areas of improvement: Just a bit more from the 2.0 ltr engine. 130 would have been perfect.

Looks, Speed, Fuel Efficiency, InteriorJust a little more power frm 2,0 ltr

Exterior Sobre. Does not attract attention.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable & roomy.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very good. Fuel economy to be tested. Gear box operation is not smooth.

Ride Quality & Handling Very good and handling effective.

Final Words The vehicle lives up to its mark and delivers solid on road performance. The gear shifting quality is slightly poor, but its grip on road and managing heavy trafic is much easier due to its small turning radious. Also internal comform is very good. But milage needs to be checked. I am mostly using it on highway hence gives a very secure fealing. I have spent @ 4 months comparing various cars in the market ( entry segment to sedan ) and taken test drive for almost all types of entry level sedans. Vento does not give proper leg support for clutch. Also, in vento, left leg frequently got stuck between clutch pedal and middle beam. While Cedia gives very roomy fealing inside.

Areas of improvement Interiors, display panel, horn.

Cedia Alpg is definately the best car in its segment comparing to Altis, Magnum and Civic. I have been driving this car from last three months and approximately done 9000 K.M. If you relly wants to know what is this is about then go on long drive to shimla or Kullu Manali. Perfect handling and best ABS-EBT System. It doesnot have pick-up problem on mountains like Magnum and Verna.

It may have less power then other cars in its segment but the constant distribution of power make it go smooth and faster thenother cars. The best feathure is its BRC Gas kit which costs Rs 100,000 and only available in Cedia ALPG. This has Four Gas injections to evenly distribute gas so it does not have problems  like manully fitted gas kits and makes it cheaper. It also have Air-bags so no safety issues.

and thats when I made my mind up that this is the cheap and best option for me to buy Cedia which comes from Best cars manufacturers Mitsubishi. With low maintenance cost compared to Diesel Cars this is the best car which is going down because of company wrong marketing policies.
Killer looks, fuel economy, best interior and handlingBad Marketing, No diesel color option

Exterior The car looks stunning as you ride along, you do get one or two heads turning (especially te younger lot) at a traffic light.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Amongst the most stylish. Once you enter inside you feel the difference. I have 'all' my Civic owner colleagues complimenting on the space and interiors.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Three years back i read the reviews on this forum to endorse my decision(which took just few minutes of test drive) to buy this car over corrola and civic (which was then pretty much a new sensation still) Have driven this car for more than 40K kms till date and the experience is fantastic. On highway and in town it is a great car to monuvere and drive. Though i do not drive fast on highways but we seem to manage an average speed of 20-30kmph more than the other cars for the same stretch. Even the family isn't that tired with continuous driving for 5-6 hrs as compared to other cars.. the car works well if you service it regularly and cost is reasonable. However maintenance though (very) far and few, the spare availability is time consuming but is available at the authorized dealer or he'll get it.

Ride Quality & Handling Good, handling great... The longer you own it the more you realise its benefits over other peers.

Final Words Test drive and let your instincts decide.

Areas of improvement Marketing, spares availability.

Handling, Performance, Space, Test Drive yourself to decideNot many... the rear logo pops out with time..

Exterior Excellent paint job coupled with graphic stickers does a wonder to style for which my car attracts many roving eyes. However, when Cedia is associated with "Sports" then the brake drums should have been coloured.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) High quality leather on seats and good leather work on the gear. The Dashboard looks great along with navigation which they have stopped now in new Cedias. Extreme comfort n fantastic airconditioning for a car at that price.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Lancer(Cedia in India) is one of the best produced machine by Mitsubishi after the much famed Zero Fighter plane from the WW2 days. A robust engine...U can hit the pedal n the car will put good cars to shame. just to give you an idea, the car can reach speed upto 50 kms with ease on the 1st gear alone before screaming. A true racer by the spirit. It has a mammoth torque as well which will surprise you. Its been 2 yrs of my red cedia sports n has done about 15,000 kms but never got more than 6kmpl in the city. On the highway u may expect 9-10kmpl if u drive right.

Ride Quality & Handling Excellent suspension, great brakes, never sways. We have about 15 cars of varied makes n segments but none so good as the Cedia for it's segment and price.

Final Words Work well n earn well to ignore the mileage and roll up ur sleeve, floor the pedal for some true racing spirit which comes naturally with the car. Ensure that u have Mitsubishi's original graphics on the doors and witness the confluence of Man and Machine. A sturdy reliable car that you can swear for the rest of your god damn life.

Areas of improvement Automatic transmission, Kenwood GPS audio system, Diesel and Executive variants of the Cedia should have been there. More than the areas of improvement in the car, areas of improvement should be there in the Mitsubishi company which is not serious about their business or their customers as seldom you will find any change in the cars and their models while other companies are trying something new every 6 months, same is the case with the famous 2000 model Lancer which is history in the rest of the world and yet Mitsu is continuing to sell it in India. Same is the case with all their other models. Log onto any country's Mitsu site and u ll find new model Lancers and Pajero Sport version whereas they hv only launched a 50 Lakh lancer Evolution with high bhp n stuff. Lower bhp and lower priced models are also avlbl there but they have not done any justice to India. Mitsu's cars are mostly used by rally drivers due to their reliability but company has not done much to promote rallying in India as u would only see MRF and Red Rooster racing sponsoring racing events. let alone racing, Mitsu India has not even promoted any amateur rally for it's customers. Your children and grandchildren will probably grow up and see that they are still selling the 2000 model Lancer and Pajero. India is known for its hatchback car market and mitsu has instead  chosen America to launch its hatch Imiev electric car. Company has also not provided any sport kit upgradation for the body and customers have to pay thousand to have their car modified with substandard work. There are many more but truly with Mitsubishi's attitude, they aint going nowhere in India.

Style, ride, accelration, deccelaration, brakes, graphic sticker, dashboard, steering, space, boot space,Fuel Economy, Model is old now, no auto gear option, inactive n sleeping company

Exterior Good. Use of shining steel beedings on the window frame and above rear bumper will improve the look.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Overall features, space & comforts are good. Powerfull AC gives good level of cooling in extreme hot summers. Small improvement point : AC starting smell, Cup holder size in the doors and access to the boot  from the rear seat.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Powerful engine of 2.0 ltr. gives a pleasure of driving. Good and stable fuel economy in diffrent road and load conditions. Transmission- Use of high tourque gear box sometime creates problem in second gear at lower speed of 20-30 km. per hour.

Ride Quality & Handling Extremely smooth ride. No tiredness in long drives. Telescopic steering adjustment give extra flexibility of adjusting comfortable control during long drives. Having good ground clearance is most suitable for the indian roads. At the same time has good balance in managing the uneven forest/hill driving. Very good curve, allows to park in small space in narrow streets of town.

Final Words Don't look at the after sale value it's an excellent Car to drive.

Areas of improvement Use of shining steel beedings on the window frame and above rear bumper will improve the look. AC starting smell, Cup holder size in the doors and access to the boot  from the rear seat. Use of high tourque gear box sometime creates problem in second gear at lower speed of 20-30 km. per hour. Dealership presence is less. Therefore aftermarket support needs to be improved.

Good performance, no matter where you drive- town or countryside, plane, desert or hill areaAC smell and running in 2nd gear at 20-30 km speed
