Stylish & Safe City & Highway Car. Good for 5 adults with loads of luggage.
Exterior Elegant styling with clean body lines and nice large front & rear tail - lamps. Looks a classy sports sedan.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable seating for front & rear passengers. Seats 3 adults comfortably behind. Easy controls. Can do with 2 DIN system (the new select has a tablet to boast of). Very good drivers car for short and long runs. I drive in the busiest side of Mumbai around Saki-naka.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Smooth and silent 2 ltr engine with great power on tap, ideal for both city and highway cruising. In the traffic I drive, getting 10kmpl is like a bonus and highway average has touched 15kmpl. Gearbox is crisp and driving in 5th gear at 40kms is amazing.
Ride Quality & Handling I am the 2nd owner of the car and it has run around 50500kms. It is as crisp as a new vehicle. Great car.
Final Words Great car if you are looking at comfort, have a large family, get it serviced with your trusted local mechanic.
Areas of improvement NA.Engine, Interior space, Self driving, MileageNo Automatic, HM service is bad

Purchased a Cedia sports in 2008. Car is running great and no issues at all. Was cosidering to buy a Honda or SX4, but after the test drive immediately decided to buy the Cedia. So far I haven't faced any issues with respect to the performace or feul ecomony. It's a very robust car. There is very good leg room in the passenger area. Fuel efficiency is a bit low, but given the other factors thats a trade a off one has to live with.
One issue I see is the spare parts and frustrating responses from HM and the service stations. I had met with a minor accident more than 6 months ago and the passenger side mirror was damaged. It's been more than 6 months I have been chasing HM and the dealers for a replacement, but haven't got any yet. Though I love this car, but not getting a small spare like a mirror does scare me a lot. Not sure what HM's policy is to keep spares. They have been blaming the Tsunami in Japan for the lack for spare parts. Come on HM I'm sure Japan is well on it's feet now and running.Excellent ride, comfort and handlingSpare parts, HM after sales service sucks

Sad to let go this beauty !!
Exterior Looks are a stunner especially when I bought this red sports beauty in early 2007.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Plush leather seats, well crafted dash board, carbon fiber strip on dash board, comfy seats and good visibility allround.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine for 115bhp is a thrill to drive. Though you cannot compare it to the Laura Rally sport or the Audis or the BMWs..it is still fun to drive, decent pickup and just enough power in the city to lead the pack in traffic or effortless overtaking on highways. I have touch 185 kmph and clocked around 10.5 seconds from 0 to 100 kmph staright out drag!
Ride Quality & Handling Steering feel and suspension is a real pleasure, handles the corners and zig zag driving in city very well. It is an all India rally champion for so many years in its category so that should speak enough!
Final Words Hmmm... I am finally selling it after nearly 5 years and 65000 kms of trouble free driving as I want a diesel automatic...moving to Skoda Lura L & K...I am feeling real bad to let go of this beutiful well crafted everyday practical car from the Japanese stables.
Areas of improvement Mitsubishi screwedup big time in India by tieing up with HM. They deserve a much bigger marketshare then the present for the quality and performance oriented cars they make.Power, Handling, Smooth Suspension, Spacious, ReliableBranding, awareness

Car for the quality lovers
Exterior Good. Use of shining steel beedings on the window frame and above rear bumper will improve the look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Overall features, space & comforts are good. Powerfull AC gives good level of cooling in extreme hot summers. Small improvement point : AC starting smell, Cup holder size in the doors and access to the boot from the rear seat.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Powerful engine of 2.0 ltr. gives a pleasure of driving. Good and stable fuel economy in diffrent road and load conditions. Transmission- Use of high tourque gear box sometime creates problem in second gear at lower speed of 20-30 km. per hour.
Ride Quality & Handling Extremely smooth ride. No tiredness in long drives. Telescopic steering adjustment give extra flexibility of adjusting comfortable control during long drives. Having good ground clearance is most suitable for the indian roads. At the same time has good balance in managing the uneven forest/hill driving. Very good curve, allows to park in small space in narrow streets of town.
Final Words Don't look at the after sale value it's an excellent Car to drive.

Dealership presence is less. Therefore aftermarket support needs to be improved.Good performance, no matter where you drive- town or countryside, plane, desert or hill areaAC smell and running in 2nd gear at 20-30 km speed

Mitsubishi Zero Fighter on road
Exterior Excellent paint job coupled with graphic stickers does a wonder to style for which my car attracts many roving eyes. However, when Cedia is associated with "Sports" then the brake drums should have been coloured.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) High quality leather on seats and good leather work on the gear. The Dashboard looks great along with navigation which they have stopped now in new Cedias. Extreme comfort n fantastic airconditioning for a car at that price.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Lancer(Cedia in India) is one of the best produced machine by Mitsubishi after the much famed Zero Fighter plane from the WW2 days. A robust engine...U can hit the pedal n the car will put good cars to shame. just to give you an idea, the car can reach speed upto 50 kms with ease on the 1st gear alone before screaming. A true racer by the spirit. It has a mammoth torque as well which will surprise you. Its been 2 yrs of my red cedia sports n has done about 15,000 kms but never got more than 6kmpl in the city. On the highway u may expect 9-10kmpl if u drive right.
Ride Quality & Handling Excellent suspension, great brakes, never sways. We have about 15 cars of varied makes n segments but none so good as the Cedia for it's segment and price.
Final Words Work well n earn well to ignore the mileage and roll up ur sleeve, floor the pedal for some true racing spirit which comes naturally with the car. Ensure that u have Mitsubishi's original graphics on the doors and witness the confluence of Man and Machine. A sturdy reliable car that you can swear for the rest of your god damn life.
Areas of improvement Automatic transmission, Kenwood GPS audio system, Diesel and Executive variants of the Cedia should have been there. More than the areas of improvement in the car, areas of improvement should be there in the Mitsubishi company which is not serious about their business or their customers as seldom you will find any change in the cars and their models while other companies are trying something new every 6 months, same is the case with the famous 2000 model Lancer which is history in the rest of the world and yet Mitsu is continuing to sell it in India. Same is the case with all their other models. Log onto any country's Mitsu site and u ll find new model Lancers and Pajero Sport version whereas they hv only launched a 50 Lakh lancer Evolution with high bhp n stuff. Lower bhp and lower priced models are also avlbl there but they have not done any justice to India. Mitsu's cars are mostly used by rally drivers due to their reliability but company has not done much to promote rallying in India as u would only see MRF and Red Rooster racing sponsoring racing events. let alone racing, Mitsu India has not even promoted any amateur rally for it's customers. Your children and grandchildren will probably grow up and see that they are still selling the 2000 model Lancer and Pajero. India is known for its hatchback car market and mitsu has instead chosen America to launch its hatch Imiev electric car. Company has also not provided any sport kit upgradation for the body and customers have to pay thousand to have their car modified with substandard work. There are many more but truly with Mitsubishi's attitude, they aint going nowhere in India.Style, ride, accelration, deccelaration, brakes, graphic sticker, dashboard, steering, space, boot space,Fuel Economy, Model is old now, no auto gear option, inactive n sleeping company
