Exterior:
On the design front, the new MG Astor facelift will get a redesigned front and rear profile, wide grille, sleeker headlamps with integrated DRLs, vertical design for the air dams, slightly tweaked alloy wheels, and a split rear bumper design with a repositioned MG logo.
Interior:
Inside, the updated MG Astor facelift will get a revised dashboard layout with a larger 12.3-inch infotainment system, new steering wheel, updated digital instrument panel, reshaped aircon panel, and a redesigned centre console with an electronic parking brake and auto hold function. Other features will include a panoramic sunroof, automatic climate control, wireless charger, ventilated front seats, powered driver seat, 360-degree camera, and an ADAS suite.
What will be the engine, performance, and specifications of the model?
Mechanically, the MG Astor facelift is expected to continue with the existing powertrain options. The current iteration of the Astor is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol and a 1.3-litre turbo petrol engine. While the former comes mated to a five-speed manual and a CVT gearbox, the latter is offered only with a six-speed torque converter unit. That said, MG can also introduce hybrid tech with the new Astor facelift.

The upcoming MG Astor facelift has not been tested yet for any crash test safety ratings.

The new MG Astor facelift will continue its rivalry with the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Honda Elevate, Volkswagen Taigun, and the Skoda Kushaq in the mid-size SUV segment.
