I had purchased a brand new GLS450D from Silver Star Mercedes Pune and it was my wrong decision. Both the Car model and dealership are horrible. They don't pick up the phone. It was my dream to have this SUV but in the end... I had a horrible experience.
Comfort - the SUV second-row seats are very uncomfortable. The reclining angle is so bad that you have to sit with your back upright and for the long journey, it's very uncomfortable. It doesn't recline as much as required for relaxed seating.
AC - The Air conditioning system of this SUV is most horrible. It doesn't cool the car at all. The fans blow at such a low speed in AUTO mode that you will feel suffocated in the car. It's a very very uncomfortable feeling. In such a costly vehicle, you feel like open the window and drive, such a suffocation you will feel. I complained about this, they have kept this SUV for a week in their service station but they couldn't fix the problem. I just demanded that whatever temperature is set in the car be reflected in a thermometer. They refused to give this demo. Whenever they tried there was a tremendous difference between set temperature and actual temperature. Finally, I have to bring back the car as it is.
Silver Star service - Not downloaded the App on my phone and taken signatures on all pages as if they have given full service. I have not got RC after 6 months but the showroom salesman is not even picking up the phone.
I had a horrible experience with this SUV and from Silver Star Mercedes Pune.
