Exterior Stylish exterior and a real head turner.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable seating, spacious and classy.
The Navigation system stinks. You cannot feed the adddress where you want to go. Accepts only preset addresses.
No speakers behind the rear seat. Presence of grilles misleads you. Official brochures are also misleading. Resultantly, the sound system with no rear speakers is below average for a car of this class.
No remote control. Mercedes does not even have an APP to control the multimedia and other systems. There is one for iPad but has limited functions. Can't even control volume with that. Seems very archaic.
Handwriting feeding system is on the left of the driver rendering it completely useless for right hand drive cars for India. Mercedes did not even bother to make country specific changes. Shocking, to say the least.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good fuel economy for a car of this size.
Engine is extremely extremely noisy. Even though it is a petrol car, it makes more noise than any other deisel car. Strange.
Ride Quality & Handling Absolutely fabulous.
Final Words Great car but Mercedes ought to have paid attention to certain basic details. Last but not the least, both Mercedes and its dealers ought to learn to treat its customers better. My car has already been to the workshop for malfunctioning of the seatbelt warning system within one month of purchase. The same problem has cropped up again but Mercedes did not care to attend to it for the last three days after reporting despite active follow up.
Areas of improvement Besides the above issues, Mercedes ought to have given the option of having Star insignia with matching grill.
Interiors are classy, enough room. Great drive and good pickup. No option of putting Star insignia on the hood. Navigation system stinks, no remote control.Exterior/Styles
