5.0 Exterior | 4.0 Comfort | 5.0 Performance |
2.0 Fuel Economy | 5.0 Value for Money |
Exterior Beautiful, Luxurious styling.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Very comfortable, excellent wood trim, very supportive and big seats.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very quite in comfort mode, shifting is smooth as silk, 7-gear Auto. Switch it in to 'S' mode, and the shifts are crisp and it is a different animal, its roar is changed and it is ready to jump. Ofcourse you want more, switch to manual shifting using the tiptronic, and you feel the curves on the road dissappear. I had the chance of surprising a Z-370 (Bright Yellow) doing the curves at 100 to 160, making it difficult for the Z-370 to keep up and get a deserving salute.
Ride Quality & Handling The front 245/45 R18 and rear 265/35 R18 with the stebility system, stick to the ground like glue and give you immence control. Switch to comfort mode, and you will be gliding in Heven, with only sounds you hear are from your Hermon Kardon system.
Final Words I have a 2009 E 350; Black on Black. Many features are programmable, interior Ambience; lights; runnign lights; wipers speed up according to the intesity of the rain. command center info can also be seen in the dash board computer. Very refined German Technology, Extreamly safe. You will have a lot of people turning green (with envy).
Areas of improvement 2010 already has several new improvements - Car would know if you are feeling sleepy, if the lights are at high beam, and there is another car in the opposite direction, it lowers one of the light to help the other driver see the road.
