Exterior Wagon R's improved exterior looks, improved head lamps, big windows.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Quite spacious inside with adequate leg room and head room, luggage space is adequate for a family.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is not upto the mark as far as pickup is concernd, u have to struggle a lot in slow moving traffic with hard clutch and gear, overtaking is bit difficult. It is more of a old man look with lack of punch and power.

Ride Quality & Handling At over 60 kmph its good but definitely not above 90 kmph as the vehicle is not stable at that speed.

Final Words Maruti has to look into lot of things in Wagon R model. There is ample scope for improvement in this segment. Today's young generation will go for looks, performance . rather than compromsing on mileage and space alone.

Areas of improvement Performance, efficiency has to be looked into. Lot of things have to be changed like Gear box, clutch, cleansy old fashion dashboard.

Exterior: It's good

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Interiors are good with good space and comfort for driving. Only problem is with the luggage space for the DUO.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Engine performance is good and I don't have much problems with the gearbox except here and there when we gear up for reverse. The fuel economy is not great.  

Ride Quality & Handling: I brought Wagon-R Duo November, 2006 and had driven 68,000 K.M till now. The avg. was 11-12 K.M/L. In city driving it gives 10. I use Wagon-R mostly on LPG than petrol. Surprisingly car runs smoothly in LPG than in Petrol. I didn't get any major problems and I changed my clutch plates at 40,000 K.M and tyres at 55,000 K.M. The driving comfort is excellent. I had put some additional fittings like spoiler, Rear View Video Screen with DVD player, Back Head rest video screens, Camera and Sensors for Reverse gear backing. Sports Steering Kit, Night breaker Head lamps and fog lamps. If the mileage would be around 15-16 then I would be more happy than I am now. I am recently travelling on the Outer Ring road of Hyd from my res. to office past 8 months and I drive at 120/130 K.M.P.H speed but didn't face any problems.

Final Words: It's my first car and I want to go with it till it doesn't trouble me. I don't know till when?

Areas of improvement: Dash board can be improved, tyres which come from showroom should be improved. Mileage should be improved. Power Windows should come with the DUO model.

Exterior Nice in looks, attractive colours. One suggation- Company to provide the NiCr plated guard for Front bumper as a pert of basic model for safety as well as a dditional feature.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good space for back seat, comfortable driving space. Internal height is giving relax feeling for 3 back seaters. Adjustable head rest is very very good than compared to fix head rest for highted person.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Smooth gear shifting, Comparatively less Engine noise, Economical in City roads.

Ride Quality & Handling Comfortable. Easy to handle in night long driving. No more stress found in long drive. Less turning radius helping out for easy driving. less space utilization for parking.

Final Words Good vehicle for 4/5 people family. Test Drive feeling iwas excellent. Good attention at Showroom aslo. (Excellent...).

Areas of improvement No any significent area observed for improvement. New look upgraded WagonR is really nice.

 Less spacious, can accomodate only 4, Poor rear viewing, large boot space, AC great effect, pucca provision for all extra fittings, reclining seats, head rest for driver and co-driver seats, no safety features like airbags and abs,etc., seats are not well  designed for long journey-especially rear seats, blind angle on side corners,

 great engine performance, reasonable fuel economy, poor gear shifting especially reverse, noiseless engine, uncomfortable in pressing accelerator for a long time (ie., in long journey).

 Easy maneavourability,comfortable surfing only around 80 kms speed-beyond 80 poor balance-wobbles, good powerful brakes,

Final Words

 good car for our money, comfortable for a 2 plus 2 family, easy for city ride and parking,  less maintenance
