Exterior Right from the beginning, Wagon R is not for looks...

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features are avg..space is good compared to all other cars in the segment, likewise, comfort levels are very high in the segment in city bumper to bumper traffics.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox In petrol, simply superb... in LPG, needs improvement. I make 13 kmpl for LPG and 16 kmpl for petrol in Hyd's rogue traffic. Gear is standard and smooth.

 

Ride Quality & Handling I have clocked already 65000 kms in 2 yrs..I almost go every second week to long drives from Hyd. For the same segment cars..it is pretty good. Come to say, it is a typical middle class man's mate. I could reach 100 nly once bcoz..above 70-80, it does not give confidence in turnings..The body being on the higher side, u do not feel that confidence. However, the same feature gives you tremendous confidence in city traffics bcoz of the view u get (as a driver). Braking system also needs improvements. There is some prob with LPG kits being used..hope they rectify it in the new models..(yet to check with people who opted for new model)...

 

Final Words Good in the same segment.

Final Words 2010 model with K series engine have problem due to increased length. During turning and during reverse there is obstruction of glass support panel which was not there in its old model. Seating on rear seat was more comfortable in old model than new 2010 model. in new model back seat are over lapping on opening them at long drive and you can not seat or lie comfortably. Interior is good with good range of colors and excellent exterior look for a reasonable money spent. Its look is like 4 wheeler car and is giant  car in its range with other company's car.

 

Areas of improvement Front and bacl glass support panel as well as back seat  to lay in line like old models not over lying. As in new model. This improvem,ent will make this car  best  in its range and more saleble.

 

Great Car with Comfort...in the city only.Back seat on folding is not at the level as was till 2009 models. Not a good car for long Drive.

 

Exterior Box shaped, tail lamps are good, head lights are fair, height is best, ground clearance is best in class.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space is good at rear, boot space is huge. Interior material is cheap and finish is poor. Roof height is good. Dash board is impressive, matings are not so good, seating can be better.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is giving 14kmpl, gear box is not smooth, Engine is soft and smooth. Knocking is there in low speed.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Good, should be better. Compare Santro, its best. Also knocking of engine is bad feeling. Gear shifting is not smooth as Santro or spark. Acceleration is good, but not as that of Santro.

 

Final Words Good vehicle for 4 people and one who want to buy for villiage roads as ground clearance is fab. Also better than Alto, Alto is not at all good.

Huge boot space, good roof height, easy driveBox shape, less comfortable for front seat, less FE, knocking engine

Car Economy was better when LPG was 23.5 Rs./Lt now rate is 30 Rs/Lt, petrol Economy is better,Reqires to Replace Gas Filter every 10000 Km,else vehicle starts giving jurks and miss fires, which costs Rs.175/- + Labour. On Highway Santro is better than WagonR for Blancing and while taking sharp Curves and 70 Km/Hr

I have bought a wagon r duo in oct 2010 even though i know that the model has been relaunced after being phased out. What made me make this decision? I have a daily car usage of around 60 km and after calculating the per km cost of petrol , diesel and lpg i found that lpg @ 33.75/ lit an average of 15 Km  comes to around Rs 2.25/ Km , Diesel  @ 43/lit and average of 19/lit to Rs 2.26/Km , and petrol @ 54/lit and fuel average of 19 would be Rs 2.84/ Km. That convinced me to go for the lpg model.

 

My budget was 3.5 to 4 lacs and looking at the options indica dls would have come to around 3.9 lacs , and new wagon r for 4 lacs.I hate diesel cars because of the poor pickup , noise and tata cars have some of the worst interior quality.diesel car would be high on maintenance and my children get uncomfortable with the diesel smell.That effectively ruled out the indica option.

 

Maruti has given good discount of 40000/- on the wagon r duo and with an on road price after discount  of Rs 372000/- including insurance and road taxes in aurangabad maharashtra and running cost less then petrol my option was clear.I got my car from Automotive Aurangabad and I am satisfied with their service and the fast paper work to complete formalities so that I could take possession of car on dussera day.

 

santro is also good but wagan r is to good..........................

Its appeareance is average but 6feet and little bit above persons like me  it is very comfortable, they can get in & out easily.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Rear ceats some what look like a basic model car Rare ceat boot area also not comfortable.

Engine I bought this vehicle on october 2010 on the occation dasara fm ADASHA AUTOMOBILES WARANGAL, A.P. I COMPLETED 17200 KMPL UPTO THIS DATE ICOULD NOT FOUND ANY PROBLEM FROM ENGINE OR OTHER TECHNICAL ASPECTS. When I filled lpg fulltank it is giving 300km with A.C. Before take this vehcle I enquired chevorlet spark and hundai company vehicles I enqired about maintanence cost and Igot huge difference of cost.

Ride Quality & Handling Iam very much to enjoy while in driving. bracking performane also good & wellcontroll.

Final Words some body told to me if you fill the fuel either petrol or lpg in before sunrise or after sunset you will get correct quantity of fuel and obvisiously you will get good mileage  I AM FOLLOWING THE SAME and got the difference.

 INTERIORS VERE VERY GOOD 2013 DASHBOARD IS VERY GOOD WHILE DRIVING ITS SEEMS LIKE IN INNOVA INTERIOR LIGHTINGS VERY POOR  SO I HAVE CHANGED IT TO LED LIGHTINGS BOOT SPACE DECREASED AND UTILISED TO REAR SEAT FOR LEG ROOM HEADROOM IS VERY SPACIOUS IN THIS VEHICLE VXI WITH TILT STEERING IS VERY COMFORTABLE ,SEATS ARE ALSO GOOD BUT LUMBAR SUPPORT IS MISSING ,THEY SHOULD UTILIZE THE GEARBOX SPACE FOR HOLDING WATER BOTTLES THE BOTTLE COOLER NEAR THE AC DUCTS ARE SUPERB

 K10B ENGINE IS VERY PERFECT ENGINE FOR ITS SUCESS ,IM GETTING MILEAGE OF 16KMPL IN CITY CONDITIONS AND 19 KMPL IN HIGHWAYS WITH AC ON SUPERB FUEL EFFICIENCY,SLIGHT DIFERENCE IN PICKUP WHEN AC ON .ITS COMMON FOR ALL VEHICLES , NEW CABLE TYPE GEAR BOX IS VERY EXCELENT BECAUSE IS DOES NOT GIVE ANY VIBRATIONS TO THE INTERIORS  ITS VERY SMOOTH,VEHICLE IS UNDER CONTROL AT ALL SPEEDS ,DRIVEABILITY IS GOOD,BATTERY AH IS VERY LOW INSPITE OF K10B ENGINE BUT WHILE DRIVING IN NIGHT WE CAN SEE FAN SPEED CHANGE WHILE WE USE PASS LIGHTS BATTERY AH TO BE INCREASED.MAINTENENSE FREE ENGINE OIL CHANGE AT 10000 KMS IS VERYCOOL FOR LOW MAINTENENCE

19 KMPL WIHT AC IS VERY GOOD, LOT OF SPACE ,COOLING PERFORMANCE IS VERY GOOD ,PERFECT CONTROLBATTERY AH IS VERY LOW,

The style and exterior of the car is excellent..fuel economy is very good.... comfort and space is very good.. performance of engine is excellent when we drive this car it starts very silently it thin in 2009 it's a best car it has ac which is good for wheather in summer overall the car is very good.....if anybody wants to buy this car it's a good car

All experiance about this car riding serving. Maintances. Now i wanted to buying this car. I wanted to long drive with my kids ,Aaram aur comfort . Ka pacca wada .we all are long strong family . Then we are choose this car . This car is in our budget.we love it and wanted to buying this. """Wagon R wadiya hai yaar""".

It's a perfect value for money and a next notch upgrade from Maruti 800 that time . Fuel efficiency could have been better . It has best space in its category. And not to mention low ownership cost and reliable Maruti service. Although I miss buying CNG variant since it wasn't available in my location.
