      The reason i happen to choose the WagonR was mainly because of it's height (tall boy) and the fact that it was a small car hence driving around inside the city limits would be a boon!! I bought this WagonR Glistening grey in june 2016. The variant i chose was VXi (O) (ABS & DUAL AIRBAGS) Costs a tad above 30k over the regular VXi; but it's worth it. Did have a test drive in the AMT but that was a nightmare thanks to the unresponsive Automatic gearbox. Hence decided to go ahead with the manual one itself. Riding Experience: I would say the ride quality is decent enough but nothing great or something spectacular to mention about. But then again other cars in it's segment aren't any better. (Do not know about the newly launched santro though) Looks & Performance. This is a simple;practical & No-nonsense car. Aimed purely in getting the best out of it. K series engine is quite smooth the gear shifts are pretty good. So nothing much to complain about. Till date have driven close to 20000 kms. Had an issue with the combination switch (Left hand side stalk that controls wiper) Which got spoilt last year. Service center say electrical have only 1 year warranty (Even though my car has 4 years of warranty.. i.e. 2 year Standard + 2 year extended). Did not want to argue or contact the customer care of Maruti for this. Ended up replacing it & costed around 1500 + labour. I am getting a fuel economy of around 13 - 14 in City limits and 17+ in highways. Servicing & maintenance has not been on the higher side; so pretty much happy with it. 10k kms Oil change service costed around 4k change & Routine service costed 2 grands. After owning for 2 years. Here is a list of pros and cons PROS: *Tall boy design makes it practical city car. Ease of Ingress & egress. *No major blind spots. Lots of glass area; makes it very airy and bright inside. *Thoughtful seat under tray. (Serves more like a secret compartment) * Generous space. * Large outside rear mirrors with electric adjust. * Tilt adjust steering wheel (Was not available in the previous versions) CONS * Useless door pockets. Makes it impossible to keep your water bottles anywhere!! * Suitable only for 4 people. * Small Boot space. * No height adjust driver seat. * Quality of plastics could have been better.

      Exterior

       It looks boxy but the style grows on you and quite appreciate the looks of this car. Good quality materials. The new 2013 model looks much better and gives bit mature look than 2008-09 models.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

       Good plastic quality, Seats are nice but the material doesn't seem premium even on top line Vxi-ABS. I am using seat cover to protect the seats anyways. Good storage spaces. Front seat comfort is goo but back seat space is amazing. amount of leg room needs to be experience. It is more than swift for sure. 2400mm wheel base makes sure on this comfort factor.

      Music system though average do the daily job. AC chills nicely.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

       This is one the BIGGEST DISAPPOINTMENT with the car. I am a new driver so didn't go for test drive as was scared might damage the test car, so bought it plainly as few friends had given good review with lazy pick up. It is a gem of a car but driven in summers in city traffic of delhi was horrible and was sweating all along. As if i switch on the AC car pick up is dead and moves very lazily. so have to switch it on when it is moving comfortably or at stops and turn it off as soon as i have to start moving again. Believe me it is quite a pain.

      Ride Quality & Handling

       Ride quality is OK, i don't expect a COROLLA when i pay 1/4th the price. So, it takes pot holes and bad roads positively, some of it filters through to you inside but largely ok.

      Final Words

       As i said it is a GEM of a car wihich is veryyy difficult to drive on a hot sunny day with traffic around. If you are looking for budget buy, please go ahead the pros outweigh the cons by a margin. You would love the feel of steering and driving this car.

      Areas of improvement  

       ONLY PICK UP with AC ON, LUGGAGE SPACE(if possible in next editions)

      Exterior It's looks good, should improve some of the design part to look it more modern.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It's relly look amazing and I like this most.

      Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is silent and it's give nice fuel economy, but gearbox should be improved becuase it's not that much easy to shifting the gear.

      Ride Quality & Handling It's really awsome to drive this car in city and even on highway.

      Final Words This car is 'value for money', I'm sure this car will give best resale value. Also my parents like this car so much because of it's confort and tall design. Best way go for VXI as compare to LXI.

      Areas of improvement Music system - should have bluetooth and better speakers.

      Build quality- Maruti should now work on better build quality.

      Safety features- Now a days all companies are giving ABS with EBD, so I hope maruti will give  this safety feature in a new Wagon R.

      The best in class.. In range of abt. 5 lakh... A mid size SUV STYLE boxy look... Very smooth driving... Noiseless engine... Service and maintenance cost is nominal.. Very comfortable and spacious cabin.. Fuel economy little bit less than Celerio and Alto K10.. But not bad.. THE BEST OF THE BEST IS... MARUTI BRAND AND BEST VALUE FOR MONEY..

      I bought a new wagon r vxi abs in 2015 this is very good car, this car gave me good feul average and also has exelent comfort and space for 5 persons I give 5 stars for car, this car is value for money and easy to maintain. It is definatley a good car for long drives. Anyone can buy and easy to purchase. Maruti suzuki makes a good car for indian roads and indian peoples. I think this car is definatley good for middle class. If you want to buy a new car under 6 lakhs I suggest you wagon r.

      This is low price and Good performance. This car hight big for big hight person. Low maintenance and small parking area for park. This car is still available mostly colours. This car is budget for service man.

      Buying experience good, riding experience also very good, looks like exterior and interior good, good service, old interior. My personal advice Maruti vehicles are low budget cars. Otherwise over all very nice.. thank you
