Wagon R VXi is as my expectations

Exterior      excellent

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)     excellent

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox     very good

 

Ride Quality & Handling     very good

 

Final Words      Every thing fine except the apollo brand tubeless tyres which I feel is not fit for Indian road conditions. I feel it is brittle and not tough enough because ona small impact the front right tyre of my new car cracked through on the side and became useless.

 

Areas of improvement         Use of Apollo brand tyres should be reviewed and a detailed analysis on this brand may be carried out to ensure its suitability for Indian road conditions. I will not use this brand any more or recommend to anybody. In fact now I am scared to drive my new car with this Apollo tubeless tyres fitted. As a retired Mechanical  Engr. from ISRO, I can say that the tyre is not having the required toughness in view of my bitter experience.
