Good car but dont expect much from it

I was waiting for me to complete 1000 kms to write a review, Just this weekend i completed my 1000 kms and here comes my review about my Wagon R.

Exterior looks could have been better but wagon r has never been good with looks but maruti has worked a bit on wagonr 2010 and looks decent now. There are few more things they could hve worked upon like there is alot of gap at the sides of the bonnet. Antenna could have been positioned in the center, would made have looked more stylish and modern

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Features:- Quite satisfied with the features for this segment car especially tilt steering and electronic adjustment of orvm.

Space:- Space is good, 5th person can squeeze in easily.

Comfort Tall boy car has nice driver's position, it doesnt make u tired even after long drives.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Just completed my 1000 kms, engine performs decent but falls below my expectation, it lack the low end torque and feels low powered, over taking could be a problem on highways.

FE currently:- getting a fuel economy of 13 kmpl with half the time ac on and in bumper to bumper traffice of mumbai

Gearbox:- its not at all the best in class and i feel its bit hard. I have problem with reverse gear. Hyundai cars have much much better gear shift

Ride Quality & Handling Very good ride quality & handling, its a big positive.

Final Words Good city car for a small family with decent engine and space.

Areas of improvement Gearbox and Low end torque.

Good value for money, Driver's position, smooth maneuverabilityHard gearbox, low power till 2000rpm, still fairly old looks
