Long Term Report-1
When Vikrant informed about the Brezza coming in to our long term fleet, we were all pretty happy about it and when I was told that it was coming to me, I think that got me a little happier than the rest. The icing on the cake was that Maruti had given us an option to customize our Brezza through the ‘i Create’ platform. So Vikrant along with Ameya had gotten busy in making our Brezza as snazzy as possible thanks to a huge selection of accessories available on the i Create website. Since I don’t like my cars too loud, I was happy about the Brezza arriving in a subtle ‘Premium Silver’ shade.
Now this was the ZDi Plus variant which is already loaded to the brim, but with the ‘i Create’ it got a few more add-ons to the exterior like the wheel arch cladding that gives it a rugged touch and those graphics that run on the sides and the roof of the car. The Brezza is already a good looking car and these add-ons can help you add a personal touch.
The customizations have been carried on the inside too. Nice snazzy plastic inserts on the dash and door panels that go with the graphics on the outside. The striped seat covers look and feel great. The Brezza is quite spacious too and has a very airy cabin and of course gets plenty of connectivity options like Apple CarPlay and then some.
What has also impressed is that engine. Although I haven’t put too many km on the odo, during the few office commutes the fuel efficiency kept fluctuating between 16 – 20kmpl (exact figures will be calculated in the next report). And it’s not just fuel efficient, it’s just as peppy too. Maruti has done a brilliant job of tuning the 1.3 litre DDiS engine.
At the moment the Brezza is raring to take to the highways for a long jaunt and I shall be taking into the great wide open pretty soon to see how it performs. Keep watching this space for more!
