I received a letter signed by Maruti Suzuki Shri. Mayank Pareek, E. O. Marketing and Sales, thanking me for buying a Maruti SX4 car and thereby helping Maruti by making SX4 become one of the largest selling sedans in the market.
They also promised a surprise gift as atoken of appreciation. I had called their number 1800 1800 180 and 9910202020 many times. All the time they told me that Maruti will call me verify my lucky number and then send a surprise gift.
This was a big joke being played on their car buyers. Their was nothing in it. After about a few days when I enquired abouit they feigned ignorance. I did email their contact@maruti.co.in . Initially they responded and promised to respond soon. However later they also went on to maintain a total silence. I have also written a letter to their Chairman. As of now there is no response. If this is the way Maruti Suzuki wants to treat its customers I wonder what they are heading for. Is there any body else who has experienced this fraud being committed by Maruti Suzuki. I am shocked by this attitude. They could have kept quite rather than promise surprise gifts and play pranks.
