Maruti Swift

Positives:

• It has features like a wireless charger, cruise control, rear AC vents, multi-information display, and Suzuki Connect telematics.

• The instrumentation is also smartly angled towards the driver for improved reach and ergonomics.

• The SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system has a nice-sounding music player.
• There are two cup holders in the front and bottle holders on all the doors.

• There’s some storage on the central console, some usable door pockets on the front doors, and the boot is reasonably big too.

• The Swift’s cabin has good headroom, legroom, and elbow room for four passengers.

Negatives:

• Maruti Suzuki missed the opportunity to equip the Swift with a sunroof.
• Seating a third passenger in the second row of the Swift will be a tight squeeze.
• Instead of a modern digital instrument cluster, it features an analogue unit with a digital driver information display in between.

Positives:

• It comes with six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESP, hill hold assist, and reverse parking sensors as standard equipment.
• It has a rear parking camera, speed-sensitive automatic door lock, and day and night adjustable IRVM.
• There are ISOFIX child seat anchorages, seatbelt reminders (front and rear), and a high-speed alert system.

Negatives:

• This fourth-generation Maruti Swift has not been tested yet by an NCAP authority.
• The Swift does not benefit from any ADAS functionalities.

Positives:

• The Maruti Swift has a standout overall exterior design language that undeniably looks sporty.

• It has smoked projector headlamps with boomerang-shaped DRLs, glossy black grille, precision-cut dual-tone alloys, and C-shaped taillamps.

• The cabin uses an all-black layout with faux metal inserts to break the monotony.

• There are monotone shades called Sizzling Red, Luster Blue, Novel Orange, Magma Grey, Splendid Silver, and Pearl Arctic White.

• It has a dashboard that employs a layered structure with some texturing on the black plastic.

• It also gets dual-tone colours such as Sizzling Red, Luster Blue, and Pearl Arctic White, all with a Midnight Black roof.

• The fit all around inside the Maruti Swift is unmistakably top-notch.

Negatives:

• The Swift’s cabin lacks a premium look and feel.
