Maruti Suzuki Swift DZire [2011-2015] User Reviews

Nowadays, the new generation Dzire is not as considered as it was in its old model between 2012-2015. Especially the diesel variant. Nowadays people go for CNG cars directly. New generation Dzire is good but it has no comparison to the older 12-15 model.. Those were prime years of swift... It provides you power, comfort, reliability, . I have maruti suzuki Dzire zdi [top model] 2013 I've been using my Dzire for almost 9 years and i am happy with its performance and reliability.. I trust my car and it is value for money. Fuel economy is also good... It provides mileage of 18.5-19 on streets and 19-21 on highways.. I don't want to sell my car but unfortunately i have to because legal age of 10yrs only is allowed for diesel vehicle in delhi. You can ask any owner who have used or is using this model of Dzire... The answer will be same. That's all for my ownership review ..Thank you........ ~Nakul Vashist

 why , the resarchers at maruti are doing that much of damage to highly accepted models like the old model ZEN and now with the highly demanding model of DEZIRE and presenting ESTILO like models. It seems to ordinary custemers that there at maruti someone may be  trying hard to destroy the company by presenting such unproportional models.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 good interiors, attractive biege colour,enough space,good and stylish dash board and steering wheels but exteror seems not that much attractive just lik what happened for the widely accepted old model ZEN

Final Words Excellent featured vehicle with the Best Performance & that too by Maruti Suzuki. Areas of improvement Need to reduce delivery time which will not allow customers to divert to any other brand.

Excellent Fuel Economy (19 to 23 kmpl), Great Comfort n Drive, Great Auto ACWaiting Period

Have bought Dzire ZDI white 2 days back after extensive search and taken test drive of vehicles like rapid, verna, amaze. But finally decided to go for top variant of Dzire in diesel. Earlier i was driving WagonR. 

Exterior Overall looks good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) I like overall interior of Dzire very much...Dash board, Music System, Music controls on steering. Have also spent additional 30k on accessories which includes seat covers, RPAS with Camera, Wooden styling interiors, gear lock, steering cover, etc, etc, to make it little luxurious from inside. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Satisfactory fuel economy and gives mileage of around 15 in city. Engine especially turbocharger is impressive as it boosts the pick up of vehicle.

Ride Quality & Handling Comfortable.

Final Words I would recommend for ZDI variant because additional amount which is incurred for top variant is really worthfull.... ABS with EBD & Brake Assist, Allo Wheels, Defogger etc..etc... A REAL VALUE FOR MONEY CAR.

Areas of improvement Not found any major area where improvement is required in Dzire because it seems very well made keeping in mind the needs of customer.

Interior, Fuel Economy, Good Style & Pick UpNot very major

Exterior Not changed much as compared to old dzire,looks like facelifted dzire.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior looks great but leg space for rear seat passengers is very less,simple feature like blue tooth is not provided is really shocking,audio control on steering should come with more features like folder chane etc, auto foldable side mirror not there.noisy power windows,rattling noise in doors within 10000 kms, front head rests are very uncomfortable,interior plastic quality is not up to the mark

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance superb when compared to other diesel engines, great driving pleasure.transmission noise (humming) is bit higher, great fuel economy (20 kmpl),but maintenance is expensive for new dzire,(Rs 1.00 /k.m aprx).

Ride Quality & Handling Both are great.

Final Words Nice car

Areas of improvement Minimise tranmission noise, must provide blue tooth at least for zdi/vdi,power window is noisy within 10000 k.m. maintenance cost has become more expensive than earlier, it should minimised,maruti is known for low maintenance cost.

Good fuel economy,better power,good interiorLess legspace for rear seat, basic feature like blue tooth is not provided.

Exterior A decent looking vehicle which gives impression of a much bigger vehicle from outside.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) All required features available for good & comfortable travel.Stereo is good and the  steering mounted audio control are a good additional feature.Seats are quite comfortable for long drive.Good airconditioner which cools the interior quickly. 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The vehicle has given excellant performance without any problem so far. I have driven the vehicle for about 11 hours continously on rough terrain without any problem. The fuel economy has been about 22 in city and more than 25 on highway. When it was driven at speed of  around 70  the fuel economy has gone much higher on the highway.

Ride Quality & Handling Very comfortable and good.A very light steering enables to drive with strain free driving.

Final Words A value for money vehicle. It has not required any replacement or expenses apart from regular service only. I consider it a very reliable vehicle.

Areas of improvement Glass quality needs improvement.

My car has done more than 70000 kms in less 3 years. I like every thing about it .Quality of window glass

Exterior I agree the Back looks awkward, but once furnished with a sporty spoiler the look becomes normal , the edges are fabuous and the alloy wheels  with 185/65 tyres looks amazing, although the sheet metal used is half of the size used in Modern Fiat cars, that may be for weight reduction.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Fabulous Interiors i think the best part is the wooden trim in multi color beige /black interiors, Auto Ac on Z rocks,. But y the hell did they provide Beige on floor, it gets dirty. Bad part is the Leg Spcace on rear, Boot is ok, can accomodate 2 Bags

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox magnificent Diesel engine, when compared to the Fiat MJ Engine counter parts : Manza, Fiats, Etc... Maruti has done awesome fine tunning to the engine, FE on Highway is 19+ city is 15-17

Ride Quality & Handling Susupensions are Good although not the Best, Handling is amazing on the Z versions, with wide typre, ABD EBS and other stuff rolling along, if you got Money buy the Z ones only.

Final Words Overall a very good car.

Areas of improvement Rear Leg Space, Blue Tooth Connectivity, Cool Glove Box, Increase the price and include a touch screen with rear cam and sat Nav for Z Versions.

Interior Handling Alloys Pickup FE(Rocks)Rear Leg Space

It was my Dzire to own a Swift Dzire the day it got launched in Jan 2012.  I alsway wanted to go with Top varient since i did not want to compromise anything which maruti offered with this car. I waited for alomst 1 year for which i had to pay 1 lac extra then what it was when the car was launched. (This is because of the hike in Diesel Engine Duty and priced hike by Maruty). Finaly i got my Dzire ZDI in Jan 2013.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) This model of Dzire has a great interior but the Beige Floor carpet is worst to have in this car as it gets very dirty. The driving seat needs to be adjust properly so that the Part which is above the clustch does not hurt your legs while you press the Clutch. Boot space is enough I would say as this is a car and not a Taxi. The boot space given can easily carry 2 to 3 Suitcases.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fantastic Engine, Engine Noise is very less if i compare it with VW POLO, Vento or Skoda Rapid. Engine is smooth even at 120 kmph. In the Full tank I drove from Daman to Mumbai, ran few kms in Mumbai and went to Shirdi and Back. After returning to Mumbai i drove few kms in Mumbai and did the Full tank again. The measured avg was 20.7 kmpl which is very good according to me.

Ride Quality & Handling Max Speed that i drove was 160 kmph and still the car was very stable. I usually drive at a speeed between 80 to 120 kmph bcoz this is the speed at which you get a good control and you enjoy the smooth Driving.

Final Words Very good car low maintainance so far.  

Areas of improvement Floor Carpet, Bluetooth in car Audio.

car was way good as we talk about looks stylish and body everything was quiet impressive, riding quality was very good acceleration was so fast and quick crosses 0-100 in no time with steering stability the most lovely thing about the car. tyre were borad 15inch alloy wheels looks damn sexy in grey colour. thats all
