Exterior Really subjective, i like this from previous one.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) All money u r spending is on interiors.really class apart but also high maintenance because of beige(even carpets are beige) if u happen to buy vdi/vxi do test music system,i found buttons to be really hard.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its a tested product it will be gud.

Ride Quality & Handling Gud but I found etios driving effortless in the city.totally hassle free

Final Words  I dont see much logic in dzire.its boot is 310 ltr ,i 20 has 295 , punto has 280 , figo also has 260+ ,so why not save some money nd buy a premium hatch.if u r planning to use ruffly(which mostly diesel cars are happen to) it will really take a toll on u.to me this car only suits to office goers who want premium interiors at less price.the diesel dzire make less sense.

Areas of improvement Revert it back to previous one and retain same price.

Exterior The sporty touch given to the exteriors similar to new Swift makes it adorable compared to the Old Dzire. The Ground clearance is really good, even with the road humps in Bangalore i could able to ride smoothly.

The body is pretty decent but can be better for the price, the boot lid is a real cost cutting and can be bent easily. My requirement was a car which has a boot but smaller than old dzire so once the new dzire is released immediatley i booked it. The three qurter look makes you feel that there is no boot at all.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The Interiors makes you feel very comfortable and gives an upper class feel, the interiors are far better from Swift, Old Dzire and even Ertiga for that matter.

It has a better leg room, integrated Music System which is 9 /10 compared any other music system available in Market.

The OVRMs control is very good feature to have,  The only concern with the interios is beige even for the car floor, which requires proper managing.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

The engine is peppy it hardly stops even in second gear even at the speeds < 10, and you hardly hear any sound as you hear from the normal diesel vehicles.

Fuel ecomnomy is excellent i can say comapred to any other car, i am getting around 19.5 in city, if anyone dont believe me i can prove it. 

Gear box is decent, but not very smooth, changing to reverse gear is not as smooth as remaining gears.

Ride Quality & Handling I am surprised at the ride quality & handling which a diesel engine is offering compared to the petrol version. Even before the first service i drove at speeds > 100 without any kind of discomfort / any jerkings.

Final Words I am happy to own the Swift Dzire VDI, it is best city and family car in Market. 

Areas of improvement Waiting Periods can be reduced to around 2 Months, ABS and Volume Controls on the steering can be provided for VDI also, can reduce the OTR in Bangalore Dzire VDI is 7.93 Lakhs now without any accessories.

Fuel Economy, After Sales Network, Upper Class Interiors, Better Engine Performance, Music SystemLong Waiting Periods,Not So Strong Body,No ABS(as an option also)No Vol Controls on Steering for VDI

Exterior Exterior wise it's a average car, front view is good, I have spend some amount on accesories to improve it's exterior look.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is the best thing in new dzire, black and beige color combination gives a feel of big sedans.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Fuel economy is awesome, I have updagraded to low profile tyres and alloys, with this in city it's giving me an average of 17-18 kms per ltr and on highways drives it's giving me 21-22 kms per ltr. this will be better as I just completed 2500kms and it's one month old car.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling also good, easy to drive. it run like a hatch. I never felt driving like a sedan, as I have other car also (new Verna, new city and XUV500).

Final Words It's a good car for who are looking for mileage and want to use as a two seater car (front only), as it has very less leg space at behind and poor AC during summers.

Areas of improvement A/C cooling, car carpet fitment, leg space.

Good Interior, Mileage, Powerful 1.3 engine, comfortable front seats, Ground clearence,AC not as good as hyundai cars, less cabin space on rear seats, carpet fitting,problematic back gear

 Nice looks people stare as its new car I have bought BRIGHT RED color after teflon coating it was just superb

 Very good interiors i loved the theatre dimming effect , dash board ,features are also good very nice vehicle for 4 to 5 family persons front seats very comfortable

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Engine is too good , no cabin noise at all Fuel economy is already giving 18.5 kmpl still only 100kms run, it will improve as kms run and servicing Gearbox little hard managing to hesitate for 2nd or 4th maybe its new will perform wel as servicing periods due

 Ride quality is also good small potholes not noticable suspension little hard but worth in this value

Sterring is great on roads very firm little body roll but ok

 Good car in such a pricing I love it

 Little design of rear and seating will make it a perfect car

Great interiors , good milegae on 100kms run but showing 18.5 alreadyLittle cramped rear seat , gear box little hard may be its new

I bought Dzire VDI model in Aug 2014 and below are my comments as per my experience after 1600 KM

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Inrerior is really good, seats are comfortable (driven 610km in one day), music system is awaysum with double din player and overall featuers are good, boot space is enough I would say as this is a car and not a Taxi.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Engine performance is very good and I am getting the milage of 20 kmpl in city and 23.2 kmpl on highway, jumping to reverse gear is hard sometimes, on full tank i drive more than 800 km without refueling. Pickup is very good.

Final Words

 Proud to be the owner of excellent fuel efficient car, Good Service, Low maintenance... A REAL VALUE FOR MONEY CAR and Overally Good For Indian Roads

Areas of improvement  

 Need to improve the exterior and gear box, should provide better brake assist and ABS with EBD alloys in VDI, doesn't have auto exterior mirror folding, rear wipers.

 

Good Interior, style, fuel efficient, Music SystemNo height adjustments for driver seat and external shape is not so good

I am having Swift Dzire Top Model with all the safety features, a month ago I met a fatal accident on national highway.

my vehicle roll four to five time on road and jumped on road side, I was wearing seat belt then I nearly survived, my all the safety features like air bag, abs it didn't worked. When I call to company people their very surprising reply I received that the accident was not happened in that conditions where these feature works.

All though they trying to convince me through their service manual. In service manual also mentioned that these features has to be work, in which condition my accident happened.

Most disappointing that I wrote a mail to company on very next day of the accident, till date company is not bother to response me. This is worst response from a largest automobile company. Fake information, poor safety feature and very poor response. So please before buy a Maruti vehicle think a lot about safety and security. And be ready to receive a very pathetic response from Nations No. Car Company.

 why , the resarchers at maruti are doing that much of damage to highly accepted models like the old model ZEN and now with the highly demanding model of DEZIRE and presenting ESTILO like models. It seems to ordinary custemers that there at maruti someone may be  trying hard to destroy the company by presenting such unproportional models.

 good interiors, attractive biege colour,enough space,good and stylish dash board and steering wheels but exteror seems not that much attractive just lik what happened for the widely accepted old model ZEN

Areas of improvement Need to reduce delivery time which will not allow customers to divert to any other brand.
