Exterior Nicely deigned and roof antina is changed. Indicators in Side view mirrors are good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Excellent. USB input for audio system is an added advantage. Cup holder for Co-Driver is nice. The integrated music system from Panasonic for instance now plays through four speakers and two tweeters while the instrument cluster has a trip computer display with fuel efficiency data well. The display for time and outside temperature though also moves from the centre of the dashboard to this display between the speedo and tacho dials.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Nothing is chnaged to Engine and gearbox.

Ride Quality & Handling Good road grip, great pickup. Interior noice is reduced.

Final Words Over all its a good car. Fun driving. Spacious, fuel efficient, comfort, value-for-money.

Areas of improvement Design and Noice. Earlier there was no hign end model in Swift. They introduced high line version of Diesel ZDI in new Swift. Thanks to Maruti.

i am doctor by profession. purchased newly launched swift facelift ZDI. i went for a long drive with family and unfortunately tyre got punctured. when took out stepney tyre it was not alloy wheel. i still went ahead and put on the stepney wheel. but when i saw tyre number, it was different i.e. 165/80R14 where as the rest of tires were 185/65R15. on calling toll free number they told me stand where i am and offered to send crane for lifting the car. told me further to arrange for my conveyance till home. it was so rude n crude. nobody has any information regarding this. please go for better brand of cars. Maruti is fast loosing credibility. i regret why i bought two maruti cars just 2 months back.good stylestepney tyre is notan alloy wheel. even radius is 14R as compared to 15R for rest of the wheels

 

Exterior There is a bit of change and it looks more sporty now. Like the new changes like ZDi being introduces, good alloy wheels, changed grill and indicators on orvm.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Sterio with USB feature, good climate control ac and looks cool, introduction of new can holder for co driver, audio controls on steering wheel.

But not enough increase in space on back seat. still u will have cramped feeling inside, same small windows, small boot no change in that, interior quality not upto the mark.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is same old Fiat 1.3. so no changes in that.

Ride Quality & Handling Handling wise it is improved i think with some changes in suspension, wheel base etc, more solid car while driving.

Final Words If you want to buy a diesel car thn u can look for this but for petrol u can definatly have amny options.

Areas of improvement Interior quality, boot space, rear seat space, should make the windows large (check the jazz).

Exterior The styling is not much to speak about and different that the old swift, but if you look closely their is a lot going on. The Bumper is now different and made of a different material to absorb most of the small impacts. This is some thing similar to a ford figo. The head lights are bigger and the tail lights have a totally new design. Also on close inspection you will find that the grill has also changed. The new swift is now longer and wider as well, only marginally though.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interiors have been a strong selling point of the old Swift and the new swift will please you even more. The interiors are best in the class and I think only I20 has better interior design. The new dashboard is easy on the eye and gives you all the required info at a glance. The central console is all new and very neatly done. The Zdi also get s the top of the line music system yhat is fitted in  kazashi. Swift is miles ahead of any car when it comes to features and comfort & a little more space could be handy, though some efforst has been put to increase the space.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is a fab 1250 cc diesel one and better than the ones available in a figo or liva.Fuel economy is right up there and the gear box is silky smooth. The engine has little knocking on steep inclines even with the ac on and you dont have to change gears often.This is better than a figo or a liva.

Ride Quality & Handling Swift is lightyears ahead of a liva or figo when it come to handelling and ride quality is excellent. The liva though is a little ahead in ride quality. The rally suspension comes in handy in the all new swift and you can eat up miles in comfort.Even my wife is very comfortable driving a swift and she speaks highly of it. Kudos to maruti.

Final Words A geart car over all and if you want a car which is fun to drive and comfortable at the same time, look no further the new swift zdi is here. Great milage, truckloads of features and good value for money means that it will take some efforst by other car makers to produce a swift killer.

Areas of improvement Rear space could have been more given that the width of the car is 1695mm which is the same as a liva or vista.

Fantastic features and a good price to match, over all a very good car to own and driveSpace inside could have been better and the waiting period is 100-285 days depending on model

Exterior Style Statement, Alloy Wheels are trendy & give a decent sporty look.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) All Features in the ZDI Variant are excellent. Space is appropriate & long rides are comfortable for 4 adults & one child.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent Engine Performance for the First 1000 kms. Fuel Economy of 20 kmpl for mixed Highway & City Driving. Gear Box is smooth as Butter. No hassles while down shifting or upshifting. Good Torque on Demend while Overtaking.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is very Good both on Plain as well as Rough Roads. ABS works well when required. The Wider Tyres give stability on Roads during High Speed Driving.

Final Words I am fully satisfied with my New Car.

Areas of improvement In Built Blue Tooth Handsfree needs to be provided. Rest all features are in place.

Exterior Looks wise I would rank the car no:1.No other cars in its class has its sporty looks.I feel that i20(main competitor) has a sober look.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dash Looks good and everything is finely integrated.But the quality is not upto mark,considering the money we pay.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Rocking performance.Gearbox is like butter and its the one which make me to forget the turbo lag. Nice thing is that the new swift is a good blend of (POWER+PERFORMANCE+FUEL ECONOMY).

Ride Quality & Handling Gives you confidence while cornering and has almost negligible BodyRoll.Ride quality is fair and its compensated to some extent for handling.

Final Words If you want a good city and highway car,which should have a classy look,rocking performance,good FE,low maintenance and a good resale value--------> GO FOR SWIFT

Areas of improvement BOOT is too small,consedering the size and class of the car. Panel gaps are not even. No other things to complain to complain about friend.
