Exterior

 

Looks great in all colors, but I had selected Grey. Overall nice styling and feels extremely happy when driving the car.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Space is good for people sitting in the front and back..... if one takes into consideration that its a small car and on comparision with other cars of the same category the space is more. Its feels like driving a big car from the inside, ride quality is very good. But overall qulaity of materials used for the interiors is not upto the marurti or market standard.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Well its my first new car, it sounds really good about the engine, Gear box. but with what i have felt so far the engine has pretty good performance....The fuel economy is in the range of 16 in city and 18 on the highways. I expect it will improve after second servicing or after 3000 kms, as mentioned in the workshop arranged at Wonder cars, Pune.

Ride Quality & Handling

As i almost compared the ride quality of the swift to other cars in the same range.....it talk a  volumes of the performace of the car. Handling is quiet good and its quite peppy off the blocks.

Final Words

Worth for money spent and will enjoy the swift driving for long period.........

You can get a small car with good comfort which is comparable to a big car...

I will definetly recommend this car....

Areas of improvement  

The biggest disappointment was that with some charges, maruti should add power rear view mirrors....... its a shame that maruti doesnt even want to spend a small amount of money to make its product better........

Qulaity of interiors must be improved lookwise and quality wise.

 

Engine Perofrmance, Gear Shifting, Fuel economy, Comfort, StylingQulaity of interiors is not upto the mark

 

Got my Sunlight Copper Swift VXi delivered last Wednesday (01/12/2010) after booking it on 7th Oct. The waiting was painful though :(

 

Exterior The exterior look of the vehicle impressed me since my college days n now finally i own one. :) But one thing, they could have given body colored ORVM n door handles in the VXi model. But in general its ext designing really impressed my eyes... It has got a masculine look.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Nothing to complain about the space n comfort inside..The default dashboard doesnt look that attractive. Luckily MGA came up with a great looking Alpine music system that gave an integrated look. The silver-black colored player improved my dashboard's look to a great extent.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The engine is very responsive..its never feels out of power. Loved its pickup. M using normal unleaded petrol now. Calculated its fuel economy using the full tank-to-full tank method for my car's first 106kms. Got an impressive figure of 12.53KMPL, without AC. Hope it improves after one/two servicings.

 

Final Words I AM SATISFIED.

Exterior Looks beautiful from outside,the dynamic styling of the swift has made it relevant in this market.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Though the interior is dark I still like it very much. The way the equipments is placed,the plastic quality is good,looks simple but styling,the back seat is little cramped but thats not a big issue. The comfort level is fair enough.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performance of the K12 engine in the swift is just brilliant,superb pick up, the fuel economy too has improved,being in there u would feel like flying, the engine has too much of get up, just push the acceletor and feel the pace it has.

Ride Quality & Handling You just compare any car in its segment with the handling swift has, handling and ride quality of the swift is just superb.

Final Words If anyone is going up to buy a car having a budget of approx 5,00,000 definately go for swift, u can't get anything better than it.

Areas of improvement Obviously space inside should be improved but this is not a worried issue since maruti is going to launch the new swift soon.

Exterior Perfect curves and nice impact appreance. Good Tail lamp, Good Head Light, I was hating this car style before one year or so but now i don't know I like it very much.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) As far my experience swift has dull interiors I like I10 interiors, Nice legroom for average north-Indian in the rear seat. Plastic used in interior can be a better quality.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Great engine some times in traffic signals i will get doubt that engine is on or off so good. noise less engine thanks to K-series engine engineers the new 1.2 k series Engine is perfectly smooth & fuel efficeint without any compromise on power. This new engine is very much improved from the earlier 1.3 version withoput any loss of power.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Good rides on good roads like NICE road in bangalore need to improve in this area only for this car.

 

Final Words Awosome car. it rocks the road, this car is for one who loves driving feels like driving always.

 

Areas of improvement  Only ride quality and intirior.

 

 

Great Mileage, Good Power Steering, and good BreakingDull interior (OK not so attractive)

 

Exterior The exterior design was good, when compared with any other maruti models and makes a trend. but it's bad about maruti,still they are not comming up to the mark in making a class look. Still they allows showroom to enjoy making money like body colour mirror paintings, remote lockings. maruti should improve in that.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)  It's ok,but when we talk abt back seat leg space it was not good especially for long journies.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine pick up is little bit less,that reflects in mileage.i am getting an average of 17km/l in highways and 13km/l in city.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Driving comfort was excellent and good handling.

 

Final Words Good car for my budget.

 

Areas of improvement Should make a small change in design itself especially in rear to make extra boot space.also maruti can improve overall in their their features.bcoz from this model maruti had taken maximum output in the last 6 years.
