K-Series Swift not exciting, i10 pulls low rev responsiveness

 

Exterior Very old but rear is more cute. I have to wait for the cute new 2011 Swift for a cute front.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Dreary interiors but-Figo and i10 lack something as Figo is a Ford and i10 is a bit smaller than Ritz/Figo,and that is climate control but Figo and i10 have-Power Mirrors,even absent at Swift K-Series ZXi! The space is not a bonus-Bigger boot than i10/WagonR K10B/Beat,Smaller than Figo/Ritz/i20. Comfort is outclassed by i10,WagonR K10B/Beat/FiGo/Ritz/i20 but matches cramped Polo.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very very powerful K-Series engine but it is sluggish at lower revs like Ritz/DZiRE. The FE when AC on is only 0.99 kpl and when AC off 6.77 kpl.The FE is too poor and never is as good as i10/Micra which are lighter and have 1.2 engines with lesser power,i10-80 PS Micra-77 PS. The gearbox is not good as Fabia/i10/Micra/Ritz/Beat and other hatchbacks.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride is soft,good for city driving but too harsh at highway. Low speed ride decent.

 

Final Words Do not but Swift but that dosen't mean than the new Swift K-Series face-lift is just as dated. And SWiFT is pricey.

 

Areas of improvement Price, Looks, Space, Ride, Comfort, Low revs responsiveness, Features lack.
