Horrifying experience with Maruti Swift BS-IV

 

Exterior Looks real awkward compared to new Next Gen i10 VTVT.Horrifying rear looks!Punto and i10 VTVT and i20 are a delight in rear and front.Lack of Turn Indicator.Beat,Figo,Jazz,i10 VTVT,i20,Ritz,Alto K10,Micra,Polo, Punto,Indica Vista,Spark,Fabia and Maruti Zen Estilo+Maruti WagonR also.More better looks at Rs 5.40 Lakhs,Beat is in a mere 4.97 Lakhs.i10 cheaper and cuter in Rs 4.47 Lakhs is real VFM!Vista in 4.01 Lakhs is more VFM.WagonR 4.80 Lakhs.Good price .Ritz VXi is 4.77 Lakhs(VXi ABS with EBD). Alto K10 flimsy but VFM in 3.16 Lakhs. Micra is 5.13 Lakhs(XL model). Spark 4.00 Lakh. (LT).Zen Estilo is 4.29 Lakhs. Swift is horrible.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Drab Interiors. Black is iffy and terrible.Beige is excellent in Micra and i10 VTVT. More features can be in this price. Space not enough. Not at all comfortable.

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox More thrills in K-Series engine but still a bad thing. It delivered 8 KMPL, Bad fuel economy. Uninteresting gearbox.

 

Ride Quality & Handling Ride is only thing I liked.Handling also.

 

Final Words I bought a MaRuti Swift VXi 1.2 BS-IV in 24th Sept 2010 and from the dealership in New Delhi.Dealership was excellent but the car. Ignored Ritz Genus. Swift lacks ABS,Rear wiper, audio control and Adjustable seats. Horrifying Car!It was Fun To Drive but not upmarket. Ignore the Maruti Suzuki Swift!Most bad car. Boot in 232 litres is not decent and not very VFM price. Interior fit and finish is bad in Blackish all over. So I suggest Car Buyers to buy another car than this Swift, Don't listen to people saying. Buy a Swift, Ritz is cool.

 

Areas of improvement This car will be improved fully.
