East or West, Maruti SWIFT is the best family car.

I drove it from Gurgaon to Kota (Raj) with my brother and his family. The road till Jaipur was excellent and the car was stable even upto the spped of 120 kmph. The road beyond Jaipur was a typical Indian road with traffic coming from opposite side too. The speed went down often, but I didn't have to change gears frequently as the 4th Gear can take the lower speed limit of 30 kmph without the car vibrating. The drive was not tiring as the sitting position and the controls are suitably placed. The suspension is also superd since the small potholes on the road did not bother the small child in his sleep.

The night drive was equally easy. The focus and luminance of the head lights was perfect, which helped me to maintain a good speed even at night.

There was enough space for the little child to sleep with a lady and a 6 yr old sitting at the back. The leg space is also good, both for tall driver and the people sitting at the back. Also the boot is really spacious despite it being a hutchback model. We could stuff in two large suitcases with additional bags too. The VXi model fitted with a body finish CD player gives the style of a luxury car.
