Worthless Car, Pathetic after sales, faulty AC & electrical, worthless engineers took entire car dismantling to understand the problem. Arrogant customer care and deaf top management & the after sales services of NEXA are even worse!
The S-cross I bought from NEXA Akshardham Fair Deal Cars Pvt. Ltd. had faulty wirings and AC. On reporting this to the dealer, they sent me to their workshop where none of their engineers could figure out the problem for 2 days. They dismantled the car which was bought just 2 days ago and only after 50kms of run. The wires dangling and the parts were strewn around.
After watching all this mess created with the car, they now force me to take back this junked up car. The dealer was arrogant enough to say that they do not care whatever I do or want, they are a big company and will manage to clear up this mess. They are only here to cheat the customers and force a customer into taking a faulty car. The car which even Maruti officials claim to be working in a proper condition, has wiring issues and might catch fire to which they are least bothered.
Do not waste your money on Maruti Nexa especially on S Cross.
S-cross is just a waste of money and nothing else. In the face of new hybrid technology, they are serving people with defective products.

Hi Guys,
I have purchased the new S-Cross on October 26th 2017. After driving 300 km I feel that engine pick up is reduced and mileage increased. But the problem is if you are riding on the gully roads and think there are lot of speed breakers then you should be in gear 1 not even 2 nd gear support if AC on. If AC switched off then if you feel the better power.
Exterior Looks good, and the build quality is good in ZETA am not sure about alpha version
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Quality was good , Boot space good and wider view angel. ARM rest and driver foot rest are awesome.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is good in prospects of highway riding, but in city it is not that great perfomer.
Fuel efficency is good in terms of high way am able to see 20+ KM. In city it is 11 to 13 KM/L I guess this is very early to confirm on mileage.
Ride Quality & Handling Driving comfort and handling is good and driver foot rest on clitch side I feel it is awesome. Due to Smart technology in the traffic signals if put hand break and you remove the foot from break and clitch then Car will stop. When remove the hand break and press the clitch engine will start immediatly this is good one.
Final Words Good Highway rider will feel more comfort.
Areas of improvement Improve the engine 1.3 to 1.4or 5 which will give the more power.

Exterior Sporty European look is very apealing. Good ground clearance, large wheel base, superior paint quality, heavy metal sheet used for this vehicle.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Keyless entry, improoved leg room, well decorated dashboard, stylish vanity mirrors, one touch up-down driver side window, upgraded music system, adjustable back seats, remarkable boot space and 5th wheel settlement also with special tool tray.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Refined engine less noisy than other maruti cars, gear box is same as Dzire but stearing wheel is soft than previous models.
Ride Quality & Handling This vehicle is truely for INDIAN roads with good edge control during sharp curves, cruise control is a new feature but not useful for indian traffic BE CAREFULL.
Final Words Value for money. Build for HAPPINESS.
Areas of improvement Back side fog lamps not available, radio antena borrow from other models, halogen headlights are not top rated.
DESIGN looks like European SUV and very COMFORTABLEDRL Lights not available in lower variants . . . . .Exterior/Styles

This is about the s cross alpha. It has a really cool look on the exterior when you compare it with the previous version of the s cross. The interior does not really suit the price. It could have been better, atleast in the top models. I have driven around 3500 km in my car so far. Nexa claims to have a mileage of around 25 kmpl.
But in my personal experience, the mileage in the city ranges between 16 - 18 kmpl and for long drives, you may get a mileage of 20-21 kmpl, tops. The Automatic climate control system is cool, although the lack of rear ac vents is a bit obvious, especially in a country like ours where we have hot summers, and the government not allowing the use of sun films on window glasses.
The interior is spacious and 5 people can fit into it quite easily. However the ground clearance is lower compared to SUVs and therefore one must be cautious near larger humps while travelling with the car fully occupied. Also nexa claims that the cabin noise is meagre, but this is untrue. The cabin noise is a bit too loud and you will definitely have to get accustomed to it while driving at lower gears. Another drawback is that it is difficult to overtake another vehicle unless you cross the 2000 RPM mark.
This is solely due to the 1.3 L engine. Hence, the gear has to be always changed to a lower one if you have to quickly overtake a vehicle. The Android smartplay infotainment system is excellent, and easy to use. The handling of the car is really smooth and it is a good buy if you plan on going for long rides.
This is really appreciable as Nexa has been able to minimize the body roll of the vehicle, especially while driving at turns. Yet another thing we will notice is that the car is really stable, even at speeds over 100 kmph( Don't overspeed owing to this feature and endanger yourself amd others ??) The SHVS is nice and the Brake energy restart is really helpful at the traffic signals.
But not quite sure whether it lowers the fuel consumption though. The day time running lamps are a standout and the led headlamps and tail lights make the car standout and gives it a premium look, especially at night. On the whole, the S cross is a good car to buy, but Maruti could have corrected some of the errs in making by providing a 1.5 L engine and Rear Ac vents.
The car weighs around 1700 kg and asking a 1.3 L engine to pull it is like child labour. But the weight shouldn't be reduced, or the stability will be lost. If these two problems are addressed, then this car would be a fun ride and will outplay all of the other cars in its segment.
P.S: I love this car(except when I am overtaking another vehicle??).
