Exterior
Considering the design, at 4.3m in length, this car just looks like an overgrown hatchback. The look may not appeal most of us but in the long run the look would not matter anymore.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
The exterior may disappoint you but the interior gives exactly the opposite feeling. The longer wheelbase provides a class leading space or legroom for the rear passenger. Driver seat gives you the comfort for those long drives. Also the front row arm rest is quite useful for the driver and passenger. All black interior adds a premium feeling. It has very practical storage options to keep all your Knick knacks. all doors have 1 litre bottle storage. Even though it lacks rear AC vents but it manages to keep the entire cabin cool.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy
Runs on tried and tested DDis 200(which I own) and DDis 300 engine. I will be sharing the review for the DDis 200. The turbo lag is evident till 1800 rpm. Once the barrier is crossed then it is a fun machine to drive. The initial observation of fuel consumption in city is 16kmpl and on highway it is 18kmpl with AC on. However I would consider the actuals once it is driven 1000kms.
Ride Quality & Handling
The suspension is on the stiffer side. On higher speed it absorbs all the potholes with ease. The NVH level somehow kept in lower side. It could have been better. I expected the steering to be more responsive if we compare with some of the competitors. I would recommend the tires to be changed. The JK tires does not giving the confidence while cornering or stopping.
Final Words
This is an underrated vehicle which gives lot of features at this price point. Maruti did a horrible mistake when launched this with a higher price tag. However, they have realised it and reduced the price to a considerable amount. From my personal experience I would suggest this car to my friends and family.
Space, Interior look and feel, Size, Tried and Tested DDis engine 1.3L, Maruti Tag, Rear passenger sStill little overpriced after the discounts, Ground Clearance(expected at least 190mm)

Hi,
Now I am using Mariti WagonR, I have searched so many cars in inter net at last I have purchased 1.6 s cross Alpha Silver Colour. at Jayabheri Nexa, Madhapur, Hyderabad.
It contains dual air bags, rear view camera, cruise control, FM, audio control for passenger and driver alloy wheels, driver seat manual adjustment, steering adjustment, arm rest, key less entry, back sensors, back view mirror also very good because it does not reflects light on my eyes. So this is very good option. Any body touches the car it gives alaram
This is very good high way car for next 5 to 10 years. Interio also good, Fuel economy is good it is giving in high way is 19km/ltr. I hope that is will be given 20 to 22 km / ltr after 3rd servicing. Driving also comportable.
Seating style should be changed. I am feeling back pain while long drive. Any way I am happy with this car, because no need new car up to next 10 years. Service will be donw at any Maruti Servicing Centres. If you have any doubt please go for road test.
Thank you.

The prices have come down by 46000 to 2Lakh, depending upon the model and it shows the same old prices, pls correct this.
Prices of DDIS 200 have been slashed by 46K to 66K and DDIS 320 by 205000 across all the models.
The reason could be the low sales figures and people might compare the pricing with the bigger SUVs like Scorio or XUV500 or Creta even with I20. Moreover Maruti has an image of selling budget car under 10 L price tag, whereas it crossed 17-18L easily for DDIS320. Though this car is value for money - looking at the features maruti has put on list.
Have driven and expierienced a few miles and I had no complaints reg comfort level. I already have 5 maruti cars and this one sure gets a consideration from my end.
Looks could be decisive. If looks are bettered, I'm sure this could a hell of a ride.
Great job Maruti and all the very best with new price tag.
