Exterior Exterior doesnt impress a lot.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Space and comfort is top class in this segment. Maruti may wan to add little more quality to interiors.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I own Ritz Vdi ABS. Simply greate in terms of performance and economy. It is almost year old and completed 15500 Kms. Most of the times car given average more than 20 km/ltr (20 to 21) with AC all the time. Performance is very good.
Only thing worries lot is boot space..specially when you are on long drive and want to carry moreluggage.
Ride Quality & Handling Car has excellent driving view and comfortable seating arrangements. One can really enjoy drive quality. I usually drive @90-100 km speed on highways. I dont feel shaky.
Final Words Simply greate car in its segment in all arears... economy, comform, performance.
Areas of improvement Manufacturer may be to look at interiors a bit and boot space.

Exterior Excell tall boy design, 5 windows view, Buzz look
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) In-built stereo system, Blue tooth device with rare view camero (extra fitting), boot space, leg room, tilted steering, dashboard (aux, USB, stereo system)
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Unmatching , pickup is simply suparb, drive comfort.
Ride Quality & Handling Very good.
Final Words After two months test drive of all the cars in Hatchback range there is no doubt that no one can beat Ritz. Can go beyond swift just if you don't care much on sporty look. Value for money. The new Varun Motors showroom in Nanakramguda Gachibowli , Hyderabad is of 8 floors and India's biggest showroom ever. The executives Anil, Raghu had shown patience in explaining every feature and helped a lot from selection of the car till delivery.
Areas of improvement No sporty interior , but if they are present then I am 200% sure that people will not for Swift. Wish they should release similar car in Cedan version too.

Appearance:
External appearance is too good. In one angle this will look like Ertiga model and many have confused by seeing from the front view. Value for money atleast on this area.
Mileage is so bad:I use this car mostly within the city limits (i.e traffic most of the times). My Ritz is giving only 9-10 kmpl. Whereas the ARAI rating says it gives approx. 21 kmpl which is very far from what the actual performance. Revisit this and try to improve the mileage.
Areas of improvement:
All the interior panels (Plastic) need to be improved. The door handles, railings, are of cheap quality and within 1 year the door handle is broken and there is an irritating noise that is produced due to this. Concentrate and provide better quality.
Pricing
The price of the car is at par with the other brand of this segment.
Noise on the boot door
Generally there will be a noise on the hatch back model esp when you drive on a bumpy road. My car makes irritating itch itch itch noise when I ride on a bumpy road. The service engineer has told me that the problem cannot be fixed. This is irritating while driving.

Exterior The exterior of the car is pretty well designed. The car is really beautiful when slight modified.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The interior is very poor. The fibre and plastic components starts becoming shaky after a short usage in roads of India. The rear space is very less for a 6ft person. Needs more improvement on comfort in the rear seat. The materials used in Ritz or any Maruti-suzuki is not of a high quality compared to Honda, Hyundai etc.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine DDis is pretty well engine. The turbo activation after 2000 rpm is quiet breathtaking. Engine have no complaints and routine maintanance is what necessary (engine oil. coolant, filter etc.). The fuel economy is also quiet good. 18-19 kmpl in Urban and 19-22 in highways. The engine noise starts coming up after 20k miles.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is quiet impressive. It have a good stability if you have changed to a much bigger tires. Mr preference Yokohoma 205-14 / 65. it gives a great stability then. Handling in curves is also impressive. Only to deal with the turbo, the turbo activates only after 2000 rpm.Since the car is very much weightless, caution on not exceeding 120 since the breaks are also not so powerful
Final Words Overall a nice and good car who loves to have a great fuel economy but not a great drive.

Exterior Good Aerodynamic shap.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine Performance is Good. Fuel economy is Great. I have got 20 Km Per litter millage even at the speed of 120 - 130 km per hour with Ac on. I had gone to Mumbai to Ahmedabad in Feb 2016. I had fulled my car tank with 32 litter disel @1600 rupees and when i had checked my trip meter after reaching to Ahmedabad it was 647 km completed.
Ride Quality & Handling Great. You will feel much controlled while driving on the highways. It will not loose controls while drinving at the corners of the road.
Final Words Great Car to buy who love to drive car which given Good pick up and millage. It is realy highway cruser.
Areas of improvement Company fitted reverse parking camera in ZDI variants, Music systems with Blue tooth connectivity and navigation system in top end variants or as optional basis with as per customer demand.

Exterior It is okay-okay. I am not interested in Exterior appearance.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Initially I was not aware about comfort and safty. Later I realised that it hsd a key-role in my rides. Anyway I trapped. No air-bag. No ABS. For indian roads it is needed. No motor adjustment raer view mirrors. I am so happy with the style of gear and rp meter. Need some more boot-space for back seats.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very good in engine performance. With 3rd gear I can easily ramp up. There is no delay. Good in mileage.
Ride Quality & Handling Without abs and airbag I am not confident to cross the 100 Kmph. According to it's engine performance, makers should add these features.
Final Words If you interested in Long rides, please don't. Because comfortness and safty are important factor.
Areas of improvement Need to improve the comfort and safty. Add the Air-bag and ABS features in all models.

Exterior Overal Good(My Oesonal Opinion). Could have been better back on the facelifted version.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Above average as compared to Hundai i10. Lot of space for storage.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine perormance is very good in VXI with it K Series Engine. I am Getting a mileage of 21 KMPL on Highways. Gear Box is smooth as compared to Swift VXI.
Ride Quality & Handling Good view, Handling is smooth, I drove a Ghat road with 9 Haipin bends with my two fingers.
Final Words Good car for a nuclear family of four members especially have more height 5'10''
Areas of improvement Nothing to improve as the Car production is no more. The could have introduce modified rear poart in its face lifted version.
Maruti’s new age hatches are fun to drive. The Swift & A-star proof of this. This car may have a tall stance, but it also has a firm long travel suspension. As a result, the handling is composed for a tall-boy. The body roll is well controlled, surprisingly, it doesn’t lean into corners uncomfortably. This is a thoroughly modern hatchback, even at a 100 kph it feels planted (well, as well as a hatchback can be). The Ritz is not as chuckable as the Swift, but a pretty balanced drive nevertheless. Impressive that it doesn’t feel like a tall boy (massive step ahead of a WagonR for instance).
Ride quality stays consistently good at the front, with a firm side to it. However, on the back seat, it was damn bouncy (city speeds of 30 – 50 kph) on typically Indian roads. As the speedometer climbed, it flattened out to an extent, but don’t expect a comfortable ride within the city over uneven road patches. The electric power steering is well-weighted and direct (but gives no feedback to the enthusiasts amongst us). 170 mm of ground clearance (raised from Euro spec 140 mm) with a firm suspension setup didn’t see the Ritz bottoming out anywhere (with 3 on board). The controls are extremely light, and this combined with peppy engines, makes the Ritz a fantastic drive within the city. The turning circle is tight as well. Nothing to write about the brakes. Standard fare. Brakes are reassuring and have decent feel. ABS available (and highly recommended) as an option on the Vxi / Vdi.
• Launch on the 15th of May.
• The Ritz is better suited for 4 rather than 5 passengers.
• The air-con was very effective, even in the hot Vizag summer. Didn’t need to go over position 2.
• I posed a question to Maruti as to why there isn’t an automatic gearbox offered on the Ritz (when chief competitor i10 does). Answer : Automatic market is too miniscule to focus on at the moment. However, I still believe that an auto Ritz would have given it a positive image & would bring / retain many a customer within the Maruti family.
• No airbags on the top-end diesel
• Maruti has skimped on an internal boot release.
