I purchased van in 1998, still in use. I had Maruti car & contessa. But I enjoyed driving van in city. It gets. Easily repaired. Even one can repair himself while sitting inside. Once inside, you feel like moving in a spacious place, stretching out completely. The whole biochemistry of vehicles, I learnt through van only One can easily see repairing without being mislead by scrupulous mechanics. parts are affordable & Cheap. THE SHAPE OF VAN MAY BE REARRNGED IN MANNER SIMILAR TO CAR. TO ME IT APPEARS MARUTI IS DELIBERATELY NOT INNOVATING VAN & UNNECESSARY INTRODUCING COSTLY CARS. MOVING VERY MUCH AWAY FROM DREAMS OF SANJAY GANDHI van can be made cheaper by changing shape, reducing back space, dismantling back door, reducing synthetic funishings, making windoows like cars body shape/2 nd seat near driver /a/c installation at least in back/ INTRODUCE LOCAL FURNISHINGS. AFTER ALL NANO IS ALSO APPARENTLY BEAUTIFUL CAR.
VAN IS MUST FOR EVERY FAMILY IN A CITY.
