I am riding ZETA petrol model. I driving it since April 2017. I am feeling it is the better choice considering parking space in bangalore and traffic conditions. road visibility is very good, At higher sppeds above 100 KMPH engine sound is audible inside. Suzuki should have provided LED DRL in basic version also. Its not good for comparatively hight people(6") at rear side seat.
Exterior Rear side is not impressing, suspension is not that much good, 180 mm ground clearance is good.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Rear seat is not comfortable to 3, nice audio. Plastics are of not good quality and in colour. Dust is easily visible.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good engine, i am getting 18 -19 KMPL petrol with my Zeta.
Ride Quality & Handling Riding is good, nice pick up, braking is very effective.
Final Words Rear side seat and rear look should have been better for typical indian family.
Areas of improvement Rear look, rear side seating width.
Good visibility of road, good powerRear seating is not for 3, rear shape is not goodExterior/Styles

Exterior Its individual's choice. Nonetheless, my wrords would be - Its good looking front and odd looking rear. Side view is excellent!
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Quality of interior is good considering other Maruti Suzuki products. This car is surely feature rich, if you going for Alpha and Zeta models. My suggestion to all, the touchscreen infotainment system is just a gimmick, actually it is difficult to use while we drive the car. Bad news is, if go for Zeta model, they we do get conventional music system with buttons (which is better to use practially) but we lose out on some feature like Air conditionar switchs, which are poor looking other than Alpha model.
Seats are comfortable. However the rear seat angle is upright so on longer journies it would not be comfortable. Otherwise the space is good in the car for 4 people.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is mediocre. Fuel economy is very good. As per company claimed, I got up to 27 kmpl with AC on highway drives. In city I got around 20 is heavy traffic and around 23 in medium traffic.
This is my first diesel car (but the third so far). I am not familiar with diesel noise. And I am sad to say, this engine is very noisy as per my choise. I am suffering from headache since I bought this car. I am very much upset with my choise of diesel top manual model. Instead I think, Zeta petrol is the best Ignis out of its whole range. Friends, please take my word, consdiering the mileage offered by both diesel and petrol - I think the diesel is only benefecial if you plan to drive your car more than 70,000 km. Else up to 70K, petrol and disel are same ownership cost.
Ride Quality & Handling Handling is not that good, since the front tyre and rear tyre are not in same line, the rear tyres are wider in distance than front - this is for stability but someone may face problem if not used to. Suspensions are hard hence you sure to get bodyache if you drive alone and for more than 35 km a day.
Final Words Overall the car is technically good but looses out on practicality. The top models are not value for money hence my recommendation would be Zeta Petrol model (automatic or manual - up to you). I regret buying this car and I am planning to change it in next year.
Areas of improvement Suspension, engine noise, music system with buttons. Other than alpha model should get nice AC control and not the poor one like present.

Exterior Funky design really stand out in the crowd. Small foot print is easy in city driving and parking.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior space and comfort is really good. Suzuki did a wonderful job in the packaging. Something similar to Honda's man maximum and machine minimum. You can see the engine hood is tightly packed that space comes to the interior. Enough headroom and leg room for all passengers. Tallboy design design makes sure you can load even taller things after folding the backseat.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1.2 K Series engine is a gem in terms of performance and fuel efficiency. Lower kerb weight keeps this car peppy even in higher gears. I clocked 3000 KM only and waiting for the first service on 10K. I'm getting 15km/L in City+highway drives (combined almost 50:50 each) and this is an interesting number for a brand new car. I do hope this will improve after the first service. Coming to the gear box AMT shifts are not as good as my expectation. There is a serious time lag in downshifting and we need to carefully do the overtaking manuevers. I always prefer to drive in manual mode because of this.
Ride Quality & Handling High speed behaviour is interesting and you never feel that car is running out of control. But the steering really lacks the feedback and it's really really dead. I've driven swift before and the fun to drive factor is seriosly missing for this car.
Final Words Overall this car is value for money.
Areas of improvement NA.

Superb in all aspects. Ground clearance is more than any car in this segment. Interior features are more than other cars in this segment. I drove 5000km yet. And I am fully satisfied with alpha petrol MT model, height z quite enough, turning radius is very nice, it luks very attractive.

I have ignis delta amt version buy on 3 june. Since I completed 800 km. I have very nice experience of this car. In city traffic the amt version is very useful. In rainy season, because of 180 ground clearance I have no issue with big road khaddas in city. Tthe most important thing in buying car in india is ground clearance. So thank u maruti for making this mini suv. Ac works properly. Music system is awesome. Tachometer is good one. Very nice car to drive. Amt is just a superb. Inner space is comfortable for 5.The only issue is of average. I got 11.2l/ km in city and not more than 12 on high way. My daily running is of 10 km in city. So I have no big issue. Buying through neta is very good experience. 1st servicing exp. In Bhiwandi was also a nice exp. So if u have daily use of 8 to 10 km. And no issue of average just go for amt ignis otherwise go for manual version.

Bought in Feb 2017, from Nexa Mysore, Mr Naveed, sales manager did the processing smoothly. Amazing buying experience from Nexa. Having white alpha model, petrol. Done 4.5k kms. Milage is hovering around 21kms/lt, both in highways and city driving with and without AC. Excellent projector headlamps, very quite cabin and engine. Up market interiors. Excellent sound quality and output by music system. Torque is good but at low speeds shifting of gears is needed. Thought it is light weight, it remains planted on the ground at good speed. Steering is responsive and absolutely no body roll, takes the corners very well. Only thing I am not happy is the rear suspension which tends to toss up rear passenger while negotiating humps at even low speeds. The air pressure advised in manual is 36 Front and 32 rear. Very good ground clearance. Over all very good car.
