Exterior
Should have been more executive , back view should look like a car, now it looks like a utility vehicle. Back door and guard is pressed inside and looks ugly. Should have been at a slope of 15 degree from top without any bumps.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Back seat hight is little extra, uncomfortable for tall people. Boot space is uperb. i have pet of German shepherd bread and he travels with our family whenver we go on long tour without discomfort to him as well as to my family members. i had a Sedan earlier and it was very discomfort to both my pet and my family. Now we travel with our pet for more than 200 kms in a stretch without any hicups.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Engine superb , Fuel economy best in class, gear box not so good
Ride Quality & Handling
Good, excellent road grip
Final Words

My Zen Estilo has done a little more than 7000 kms since july, 2007 - most of them were in the city
Fuel efficiency - 17 km/ltr - without A/C, 13 km/ltr with A/C.
A/C is effective. I like the looks.
The power steering is really smooth.
That can hardly be said about the gear box - not up to the mark at all. First gear could have been better. There is drag from 2nd to 3rd, but the car picks up after 2800 rpm. 4th is good and 5th is smooth. But the gear shift movement from 4th to 5th is ridiculously designed. Reverse gear sticks on me sometimes. I've achieved a top speed of 115 - and I felt the car still had more to give. Braking is good - the discs help. The pickup could have been better. I cant understand why Maruti would cut corners on something like the gearbox - extremely myopic and immature of them!!!
The car is an optimistic 5 seater and a realistic 4 seater. Boot space is good for a small car. The height of the car makes it easy to enter and exit.
All in all, a good first car - and i'd like to graduate to something bigger and better soon.
FE, effective A/C, good looks, smooth steeringgear box, rear seat space, pickup

Exterior Good exterior in a new version in estilo rather than old i think it's a best deal for me in comparision between 350000 to 400000 price range cars i have drive spark alto santro etc. but i like estilo its my openion choice is yours.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good interior according to me than others in price range and you have got AC Power window Power strering in lxi in price range 380000. i think it's a best deal.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox When we talk obout performance and fuel economy i say very good for middle class family , it'e a middle class family car.
Ride Quality & Handling Very good riding and handling when you drive than u understand.
Final Words It's a best deal and a totaly a family car 5 person can sit easily. I will say maruti is the best low mantaince cost, good fuel economy, value for money.

Good on city as well as High way Drives. Good engine response. Maruti has mixed up Style with the WagonR's dependable Tech features.
The Tall Boy design is very ergonomic and space is just good for the front seats, but for the rear...[ :-( ].
Overall a nice performer and above excellent option as a family Vehicle. Stop comparing with other vehicles in terms of power. Fuel Efficiency is much better than for any other Maruthi vehicles; everything taken into account. Full marks for the AC.

I loved the curvy shape as compared against the boxy WagonR. Also, the engine has more PEP than wagonR, gear shifting is also buttery smooth. We wanted power windows at least on front (helps at security checks, toll booths etc). This one has them.
After using this for 2 years, Car is giving a average of 14 Kmpl in City and 15.7 Kmpl on highways. when we took it to a very hilly drive (Pune to Dapoli via Mahabaleshwar Ghat) it gave 13.5.
Ride quality is superb in this segment. I jump speed breakers without any reduction in speed and without damaging the suspension ;). EPS Steering is also very responsive, in heavy traffic, I can drive this car as if its a 2 wheeler. (I know some of the readers will snob at my driving habbits, but I live in Pune, and If you want to drive without accidents, this is how you should be driving!!!)
All in all, if you are ready to compromise on little less space on back seat, this is definately a better car than WagonR.
Good Fuel Economy, Good Style, Great perfromanceBack seat cramped

Though i tried a test a bit late, following are the observations.
It is a fairly good car. All depends what I look for. I think it is the car for the people who travel in great number extensily. It is more for upwardly mobile urban families.
The car looks very lightly built. But for the kerb weight the engine is really powerful. Driver's seat position is no non-sense.
Interiors are at the best. AC is very powerful. Rear seat is a problem not of the car but of the segment barring Indica. But boot is much better that even some of the B segment car.
And with Maruti name behind it is deinitely VFM.
Trendy looks, a good load of features, niec interiorsspace issues, lack of safe feel

Maruti Suzuki Zen Estilo.
Hi iam Vipin.
I used to have a Maruthi suzuki Zen for the past 2 years. As soon as the Estilo as released i shifted to this car.
I was very much awaited to drive the car by the looks of it.But unfortunately the car dint reach my xpectations.
The car was a bit ok for its economical rate.
I surely can say that its a combo design of a Matiz and a santro.
The maruti people definitely has to take care about their Design engineers.
Though the car is bit taller than the old Zen but it is smaller when compared to Wagon R but that certainly doesn’t translate into lower headroom for the driver….
There is a lot of dashboard space as mentioned earlier and the high mounted seats are comfortable enough for a long ride.
Coming to the feel of the drive..As iam a mechanical Engineer i can definetly say it was fun driving this car.But the cars pickup at its 3rd gear isnt sufficient for the high way rides.
The gear system lacks the feasibility.
On the other side the car is small ,very much comfortable in the busier roads and huge traffics. With first service just round the corner I have managed to drive 800 Kms in the crowded city .Coming to the mileage first of all as it is certainly the most talked about point in the budget level segment cars,Estilo gave me a mileage of 16kmpl with every litre of the gas being spent on the city road and not the highway,so that does a seem a pretty decent average considering the fact that it is still in the run-in period.
The engine has not been refined much except for the fact that it has been tweaked a bit for responsiveness and fuel economy which certainly have given it a better mileage and better pick up time. Also the engineers have worked on the aerodynamics of this car…
Can’t comment on the air-conditioning as I couldn’t urn it on in the chilly weather that is having over the past months but according to reports it certainly does its job perfectly.
Though i wasnt much satisfied with the performance of the car.It definetly left some memories for me in the 6 months of the ride..
I dont suggest for people to go with this car.As now a days many more cars with the stunning models and rich performed engines are available.
The EPS(Electronic Power Steering) is good but not excellent and leaves more to be desired.
The gear ratios are ok for a car in this segment..I managed to get it upto 40kmph in first gear and 80kmph in the second…The rest is pretty obvious!
.
With over 15,000 units sold at the time of writing this post it certainly is on its way to glory that for a long time has been with Santro.
On a short note .This model wasnt a great one for the Company like MARUTI SUZUKI
