The name speaks the story .. Zen estilo , the most reliable car that maruti have it in  their stores. It’s a car with awesome looks, fuel efficiency  & reliability . It has got the wagonR engine which its self is widely accepted . If we rate it in  terms of  overall efficiency  whether it be handling , fuel efficiency or looks,   it will definitely rule the charts .

 No doubt  Estilo  has stunning looks, exactly what I wanted it to be.  Also  its  beige interiors are  really decent  that gives me  totally different experience .I  feel like as if I am sitting in big car in price of small car.

It is almost  same as wagon R with a lot more features thrown in. I personally feel it as a good option if I have to buy a new car. It has good brand name and equipped with all features. Maruti word speaks itself, its After sales services will be good and not only this its resale value will also be good.

Its aerodynamic shape has revamped the meaning of small car .  Getting this kind of design is difficult   in this segment .Its not only its looks, its superb engine has made  it  best  in its category .

Zen estilo comes with a bundle of features . it has got snazzy headlights, front grill, stylized rear lights  , fog lights , electronic side  view mirror . Its AC has sub cooler condenser for extra cooling . .Also its engine is fantastic. I can feel the better drivability in almost every road conditions,

Overall its worth it. Its two tone beige  upholstery gives a feel of luxury and  all this beige interior are standard in all variants  .if we talk about the interiors its each component is designed  to give the  car that sexy appeal .  I found it great .

Very attractive interior and exterior. Milage should be imprived. The rear spacefeels little bit less. Milage should be more than 20. Breaks needed to improve. Over alla it's a very comfortable and good looking car.

I am planning to buy a car and have budget of 3.5 to 4.5 lacs. I am looking for a car primarily for a couple (occasionally 2-3 guests) which have good fuel efficiency, value for  money, low maintance and good resale value. My usage is around 600-700 km a month. I am short listed Santro, Zen Estilo, i10 and Swift.

However, after going through the test drive, I found estilo to be very comfortable and in control. Please suggest me the best option.

Got the new Estilo Vxi  from kallyani Motors Bangalore.

Initilly booked the car with Pratham Bangalore and they promised to deliver the car in 1 month. After 1.2 Months, Pratham executive called me and said its not possible to deliver the vehicle forl 3 more months. I was disappointed. Than I booked my vxi Dusky color vehicle with kallyani which they delievered in 10 days promptly. Delivery process was smooth. I did not got any discount on the car. Total on road costed me 4.36Lakhs including2nd and 3rd year waranty.  I got the car sharp at 3:30Pm on satureday 7th Nov 09. They arranged a driver to drop the vehilce till my home which is 27km from showroom.

As of now I drove 40km in 3 days and found vehicle is really vary good. A/C is effective and did not find any noise when AC was on.  Pickup of the vehicle vary good. As of now I am feeling gearshoft is bit hard need to check with dealer for this.

Rear seat is good for 3 people if they are not heavy weight. otherwise its conjected for tall and heavy people.

Totaly it a vary good vehicle specially dusky brown looks vary good.

I will keep updated as I moove on.

Exterior More stylish,thrilling but no change can be seen on the back side compared to old estilo.extremely better than the old estilo and new wagon r.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Well spacious,very good comfort,abs were not given in the normal vxi was dissapointing. More storage space could be given.

 

Engine Performance & Fuel Economy Fuel Economy is much better, Fuel Economy is so nice and Gearbox not much better,you are saying that it had good gear shifting but reverse gear had some trouble,it's gonna stuck,some owners told me that old estilo had same problem,but expected more power from the new k series engine.

 

Ride Quality Almost perfect & excellent and super handling.revers sensor could be added as a feature.easy and comfort driving is offered.

 

Final Words Totally it's a nice car for a five membered family, since we made it sporty, music player could be given with vxi model. surely i will recommend others to buy this car.

 

Areas of improvement Fuel efficiency is good, style(interior & exterior), great exterior style, space provided is much better. Front bumper, fog lamp.power window and wing mirror is excellent, easy control.

 

when makes sporty,it's great.excellent front styling.good fuel efficiency.unexpectadly spacious.since you says,not so perfect easy gear shift,poor suspension.reverse gear got some problem.

Exterior Colours are suitable, the heigth from ground to be 3" more in rural areas roads are not smooth.

Interior (Features, Space & Com and Gearbox Interior is excellent very decorative it looks like beauty queen.

Ride Quality & Handling Accelator is smooth, pick up takes little more time, frequent gear change is required in rural areas, contorl is good, Front portion of the glass to be wide, in curves vehicles coming from the front are not visible, the front pillar hide the vehicles.

Final Words I suggest those contact me to buy estilo, it gives pride to the owner and to the rider it gives riding pleasure, park easily, width of the car is suits to the road and to park doesnot consume much space. Front portion of the car to be little more height because in mud roads it touchs to the ground.

Areas of improvement Dclutch and reverse gear.

stylish, Gear changing is easy,d'clutch system does not work properly stop the engi , reverse gear some time doesn't work paroperly

 

Exterior A trendy car with good looks.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The seats are very stiff, gives a back pain during long drives

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very good for a car of this class, however this is not a pure driver's car like Swift.

Ride Quality & Handling Stiff ride at low speeds, shocks from potholes gets transferred in cabin. However on a smooth highway the very stiff suspension comes handy at speeds above 60 kmph. The tall boy design hampers high speed stability, at speeds exceeding 100 kmph, a sudden gust of wind can shake the car badly and make it unstable. However the car has an excellent torque and this makes it an ideal car for mountain driving. I drove the car all the way upto Gangotri in Sept 2009 at 10,000 feet and the car handled the hairpin bends very well.

Final Words An overall good VFM buy for a family of 4.

Areas of improvement Seats- extremely bad! Maruti should also provide a seat height adjuster for short drivers.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

 Its has almost all features, space is OK, seats are not comfortable for long drive. I also drove Wegon-R 2008 which has more comfortable seats.                                                                      

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Engine power is OK, but gear box is not smooth, Shifting 1st to 2nd gear not smooth, you have to push acceletator while shifting 2nd gear so in traffic jam, driving becoms hectic.                                                     

Ride Quality & Handling

 Cabin noise is more then others, Handeling and stablity on highway is fantastic. It gives smooth riding on highways.                                         

Final Words

 A good family car by Maruti. I bought this car in Nov'09. It gives 17 KMPL with A/C on highways and >14 KMPL in city.                                                                      

Areas of improvement  

 Seats need to be more comfortable, Need to work on gear and Suspension.

                                                                                                            

Good Looking/Stylish Car, Good Fuel Economy,Seats are not comfortable, Poor Pick-Up in 2nd Gear

I bought Estilo Vxi in Nov’07. This is my first car ever and indeed i feel it was a best pick of the small car segment.Maruthi Zen Estilo Vxi has come with great features and It gives great value to the money on road.  

Interios give a modern look and the outlook seems to be a
tiny Innova.Inside the car the space is not sufficient compared to the Indica Xeta but the features provided by the Estilo is great. As well the Estilo gives a better ride than the santros bumpy ride at the rear seats.        


The Estilo delivers better torque even in low RPMs that avoids the frequent gear shifts in the city traffic. The interiors have been designed to an extent with great look. Cabin is well
insulated to reduce the noise level. Even when i ride at 125kmph i couldnt find any greater noise or vibrations... The power of AC and the fuel economy is the best in the class. At the max i got 21Kmpl in the highways in mixed AC conditions. Zen Estilo caters a pack of power features like iCATS, Remote Keyless Entry,Electrically adjustable Rear View Mirrors,Power Door Locks etc.,(Optional ABS and AirBag) .


The gear shift is getting good enough with the timing...It has a very good refined and responsive MPFi engine with four cylinders each having four valves. The suspension is also got better for Indian Roads.


Zen Estilo provided the pride for ownership in all the aspects while compared to othe cars in the same segment. People who looks for value for money, better service network and resale value can opt Zen Estilo.
