The driving experience is best in Ecco 7 seater. This is one of the best affordable cars in 7 seaters. Well, performance in 1st 4 years with minimum maintenance. Battery life was approx 4 years. A lot of space behind.

Maruti after a long gap, provided a competitor for Omni.....

The van like mpv under 4 meters and gives an option of 8 seater... Really Maruti only can do it.... They knows the minds of Indians.....

But still, coming to the safety aspects, it is just above the mark of Omni.. No much difference... Just one feet in the front (Empty bonnet space) is the only differnece..

Instead, they can see on to the design of Nissan Cube Cubic 7 Seater.......

Cubic comes with compact external dimensions...(3900mm in length. 1690mm in width. 1645 in height. 2600mm in wheelbase.) And 4.7m turning circle redius...... All this with 1.4 litre CR15DE diesel engine inside the front bonnet.... For me, it resembles just like mini-Bolero....

It also provides a lot of storage spaces and versatile and flexible seat folding options with low-floor and 15/16inch radius wheels.... The only problem i have seen in Nissan Cubic was that the third row leg room is just below the mark....

I feel, Maruti can take this cubic as a model and develop a new sub-compact LUV based on this cubic.... Maruti can use the available 90mm length (for still keeping it under 4m) for providing better leg-room and boot space......

Iam expecting this Maruti Cubic 7/8 seater sub-compact LUV, atleast in next two years of time....

Compactness, Interior Space and CapacityEngine under seat, boxy, unstable, lacks basic features

Exterior Exterior look of eeco is quite simple and decent. side mirrors of bothe side are not stylish.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Features: There is nothing to say more about features  beacuse compare to other they are less. pockets for magzine and bottols with coffee stand should be there. Headlights should be more brighter with fog lamps. Size of tyre is not enough to grip properly on road so it should be wider with 14 inches. plastic quality of dashboard is nice but can be improved with new attractive dashboard.

Comfort:  Passenger leg room is enough but co-driver seat is not adjustable so its not so comfortable. head rest for pessengers are not avilable. arm rest should be avilable for driver and co-driver. A/C/ of eeco is powerful. current version of eeco is not comfortable for long routes more than 2 hours.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox They are all good. pickup is very good even on CNG. i achieved  same fuel economy on road which company claims.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality is not so good on highway. it requires large tyre size and some width of vehicle. handling of eeco without power stearing is not so easy but stearing is light during running.

Final Words Eeco is nice car for family in one word.

      Areas of improvement

      1) Dash board should be attractive.

      2) Width of eeco.

      3) Tyre size.

      4) Co-driver seat should be adjustable.

      5) Magzine and bottle space with coffee/cup holder.

      6) Head rest for pessengers.

      7) Shape of headlights with fog lamp.

      8) To give a nice look  it should have a option of without sliding doors.

Seat height, ground clearence, nice leg room and luggage room, easy gear shift and good fuel economyLow illumination headlamps, co-driver and pessengers comfort, tyre size, width of eeco, dash board

Exterior Looks good from the front but fails to attract when viewed sideways.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) No power steering(Dont really feel the need for it unless you are parking in a congested area), 2nd row windows are huge and hard to operate, the rolling doors are a nightmare and water comes in if the door is not closed properly(I mean closing with a BAM!).

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is powerful and Fuel economy is good but car cannot go smooth at more than 100kmph.

Ride Quality & Handling Steering is too hard and you feel as if you are driving a truck! Power steering is not required in this car but when parking in a congested area you will have a hard time.

Final Words Middle class people with a big family should go for it but nuclear families should look for something else.

Areas of improvement Rolling doors, aerodynamics and comfort should be increased. Its predecessor ' Versa ' is quite comfortable and it has central AC.

Powerful AC ,CNG, Big family can fit in(9 persons)Lack of comfort, horrible rolling doors, bad seats and worst suspension

Exterior Good and aerodynamic, seems smaller from the exterior during parking but inside is spacious. Rear window wiper can be added.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) This car provides more than what it has said. Front seats are comfortable, gear placement is good, dash board is alright, could have more advanced rear view mirrors as these are the replica of the Omni.Could improve the sitting to more comfortable bucket seats, improve the door interior designing and provide some bottle space for the front doors. Closing mechanism for rear doors can be improved as is a problem in central locking system. AC is very effective.

Fuel indicator is not accurate, glove box is not spacious.

      Engine Temperature not displayed.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gives 15kmpl, and marginally less with AC. Very responsive on lower gears during overtaking.

Ride Quality & Handling Good on high ways, very stable on long drives, can touch 120kmph without realizing the speed. No power steering required as the steering is very responsive to every mm. of movement. Turning radius is awesome for parking.

Brake and accelator pedals not properly placed and aligned for the driver, long drives can hurt your knees.

Final Words Good value for money.

Areas of improvement Can have a slightly wider wheel base and also the rear seats can be improved to more comfortable ones. Found out that the tyres wear out and rear wheel bearing life is very short.

Height, Noiseless Cabin, Pick Up, Driving Position, A/C, Electronic Trip Meter, fuel economyCan improve the rear seats to more comfortable ones.

Riding experience: Terrible. Rear seats have bo head room Middle seats have no leg room. Not even suitable for taxi.. Maruti's Most terrible vehicle. I donot Understand how maruti claims it a seven sitter. Hope Maruti will listen and di required modifications and will privide better option.

I have driven my modified 5 str ac patna to rishikesh and hisar about 3000 km . Very comfortable to drive and easy in between traffic. Not a single vehicle problem. But I have faced some other problems as above 117kmph speed ,bubbling starts . Other My vehicle is modified to 7str for my joint family so two times I have to pay fine. Because during purchase I have to choose between 5str ac or 7str non ac.So request company to build 7str ac for joint family and make rear door latch from inside with child lock. Yes one more thing when long drive at rear sleeping floor is available for children.

A good car for an Indian middle-class family. But in 7 seaters there is no Ac it's a major fault. The company should improve more in this eeco like power steering .tyre size. power window extra .if these problems are avoided there will be more dealer for this car So it is an xuv for a middle-class family
