Buying experience through authorised Maruti Dealer is a charm, I book my car, while booking I was promised to get it as early as possible. I got my car through Kothari wheels showroom in Pune within 21 days of time with number plate. And after one year of purchase the sales executive are still in contact, accessories department frequently call me after every 3 to 4 months about new arriving or arrived additional accessories. All together it was good purchasing my first car after sales executive suggestions. Coming to the riding experience, my car is driven some 6k KM's sofar all traffic conditions. Since it's a vxi model one of the most highly selling versions of Maruti be it any car. So was comfortable to ride with family, Freund's and alone too. Smooth and confident drive good on mileage till now 20+kms. Talking about the looks I was Fida on this model so I purchased it although my choice was swift petrol amt but soon relized that at swift amt cost I can get DZire vxi so got it. Minimum suggested accessories are parking assistance with camera and sensors, good seatcovers (within Maruti showroom) fog lamps and nothing else. Rest depends on choices and requirements. Music system is enough to listen. Have tablet or mobile mount it will work like touch screen music system. To be totally frank.. I spent 2021 rupees on my third service. No single penny was spent before its third servicing. I have purchased in silky silver colour so noworries of color fading. Car is performing well be it mileage, comfort, acceleration, electronics etc. All moving fine with it. All pros - no cons User frndly, in budget, family spacious sedan car.

I bought a new car in April 2019. I am very much dispointed about Paint quality. Gallant red color is good but paint job done by MSIL was not good. How the quality check team pass the car. Dots and some un matched rough areas I was found on my car. Remaining everything was fine. My car was ZXi AMT, mileage is present 15 in local and 18 in high way. With a/c. Interior good. But some sounds coming at doors plastic. Cabin Space good, ac good, but steering I feel some where tight. While auto shifted gears feel some jerks but negligible. I had a bad experience with dealer, he cheated me for about 11,000/- by forced accessories after my payment. And also for his acheiving monthly targets car purchase date is showed 10 days before.

Excellent car to drive, best millage achieved by 21 kms/ ltrs with just 1300 kms drive. Only drawback, staering not coming back automatically after a turn. Rest all is very goods, look, interior, exterior. Though i have base model but after having combo of accessories, not having any complaint. Just company have to look after service part in which they have to ask team to listen client and their necessary requirement.

Buying experience: I often don't write such reviews like this, but my experience is simply amazing from the time I have visited the showroom (Jaikrishna Maruti, Annur, Coimbatore branch). Starting from the Test drive till delivery the executive name Kamal had taken care of all my concerns and addressed patiently. I would highly recommend Jai Krishna for their enthusiasm and efficiency in finding out my requirement and the ability to explain in details is what made me surprise and delighted that I am in the right place. Riding experience: This was essentially important part, when I have decided to test drive they've made sure the car was there for me to test drive despite they didn't have the car in the showroom, they have arranged the car in that branch. I was upgrading from my Ford Figo car to Swift Dezire and I am convinced that I have taken the right decision. I am happy still and also peaceful after clocking 1,19,850 KMS (1,19 lakhs) from 2013 till date. It is a diesel version of the VDI. This car has never let me down till now and it's become a family. Most people agree to disagree, Maruti has done a great job, no wonder why the Maruti Swift Dezire is the top-selling car in India. Looks: At that time, the look was quite modern and even in today's world it's quite bold and I liked the old look than the latest 2018 model since my car looks muscular from the front and the honeycomb grill just enhances the beauty of the front view. I get an approximate mileage of 25 KMS if it's driven within 80 to 90 while at above 100 to 120, I get a decent 21 KMS which is pretty impressive. The engine is buttery smooth and I have hardly given the car to another person as I always feel to drive it myself as I get attached to it so much like my wifey... Service and Maintenance: I will not say the maintenance is less, it is moderate. Neither too less nor too high. On average, my bill would be around 8K to 11K for a regular periodical maintenance service which I use to do for every 10,000 KMS. I have done a timing belt/chain replacement and the cost was around 12K when I clocked 1 lakh km and the cost of clutch replacement was around 15K when I clocked 90K km. So honestly, I would say this is much better in terms of maintenance as I have seen my friends who use to cry as their cars burn a big hole in their pockets. Pros: To start with, it's a Maruti, the name itself is an advantage and what else you need. Better fuel efficiency and easy to maintenance Peace of Mind (because it's Maruti) You will have the confidence in highways while overtaking Buying experience and the loan and the insurance arranged by Maruti insurance team Value for money Cost of ownership Resale value, depreciation at the rate of 40K per year and still my car fetches around 5 lakhs after 1Lakh KM and 6 years Decent built quality Cons: Should have included the ABS as a standard Should work on the express service and reduced service charges to stay competitive

It is Luxurious car, more comfortable on long drive, millage is better than other same segment cars. Compare to other car it's price is good on same segment, features are less as compared to hundai, some improvements on features to be added like rear camera.

I have a 2018 Maruti Suzuki Dzire. When I was out looking for a car Ford Figo Diesel was on top of my list because of its performance and handling. But then I did some maths and realised that buying a diesel for me was not a good option. So I started looking for petrol cars. My budget was around 8 lakhs and I wanted a city car as I already have a Nissan Terrano which is great on highways. I looked at Hyundai i20, Honda Jazz, Tata Tigor, Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Dzire. I narrowed down on Maruti Suzuki Baleno and Dzire. I wanted to buy Baleno as I was getting Alpha variant for Rs. 8.20 lakhs on road. But my father insisted for Dzire as it has more boot space and sometimes he might use it as well. Also if running cost on petrol get out of our calculations( because running varies a lot, sometimes it shoots 3000 km a month and sometimes it hardly does 1000 km) then we can get CNG fitted and still have boot space left. So I agreed to get the Dzire. I got the Vxi variant as according to me it was value for money. Today I have driven it for 22k kms. My experience with Dzire is as I expected it to be apart from some minor issues which I had with the car or the service. The on the outside looks decent. It is neither eye catching nor it is weird. But definitely much improved from the previous generation. On the inside the car looks very good but when you touch the material you realise that you are sitting in an entry level compact sedan. The plastics used on the dashboard are of very cheap quality, especially on the lower portion of the dashboard and door trims. Quality is the only issue other than that the cabin is very spacious and practical. You get bottle holders and place to keep stuff in all four doors. The centre console also has good space. AC works very well. Even if the car is parked in bright sunlight you can be cool in 5-7 mins. Rear AC vents are also present, though I don't think they are of much use but still I appreciate that it is there. The only feature I miss in Vxi is electronically foldable rearview mirrors. And I also I had a complain from Maruti Suzuki regarding the rear parking sensors. According to new safety norms all new cars should be equipped with rear parking sensors. Alto was getting parking sensors and Dzire L and V variants were not which cost almost double. I had to get them installed after buying the car. Talking about the driving feel of the car, the engine and gear box is the best one can ask for at this price. The 1.2l K-series petrol engine is a gem. You press the accelerator and it is ready to rev. There is always surge of power present. The handling of the car is also decent. If you drive the car regularly you will be happy it but if you drive some other car with good handling then you might realise what you are missing. The steering and clutch is super light. Due to this super light clutch sometimes it gets difficult to get the feel from the clutch pedal and it ends up in stalling the car. But when you get used to it, using this car in city traffic is a effortless. But this is good for city drives only. Talking about city drives I easily get 18-20 kmpl in city with normal traffic and 16-17 kmpl in heavy traffic. On highways you can expect 22 kmpl if you are under 100kmph and driving at constant speed with not much load in the car. If there is load you will hardly get any difference in mileage from city mileage. On highways the car is not stable due to its light weight and thin tyres. Above 100-120kmph you start feeling disconnected from the road. If you overtake a truck on high speed you can feel the car shaking due to the air pressure created. So it is better to stay below 120kmph in this car. Also due to thin tyres the car is not able to get the grip properly under hard braking. About the service part, I have got 4 services done. When I purchased the car I was facing issues with clutch play. The play of the clutch was not optimum which led to jerks when pressing the clutch pedal for shifting from 1st to 2nd gear. I told the service advisor to get it fixed. When I got the car back I didn't feel any difference in the clutch pedal and I was still feeling jerks. But I didn't get time to get back to the service station. At the second service which was at 5k kms I again told them about the same problem. I again I got the car back and was facing the same issue. I went back and complained about it, he adjusted the clutch but the problem was not completely solved. At the third service which was done at 10k kms I was quite frustrated and my anger came out. At 10k kms my problem was solved but at around 16k kms the clutch wire broke. I contacted the Maruti Roadside Assistance and the experience was pathetic. Also the labour charge for servicing at 20k kms was Rs. 2200, which is very expensive for a car of this price and on this they ask if you want to have oiling done on all the joints and hinges of the car for Rs. 300 (not sure of the amount). I don't know for what they are charging so much. Pros:1) Ample amount of space. 2) Very good mileage. 3) Good performance. Cons:1) Poor plastics used. 2) Very thin body sheet metal. Easily get dents.

Good things: Setting aside the on paper facts, this mid segment sedan no doubt overtook the competition and became the all rounder champion in its segment. We got the petrol version top end variant with all the fancy touches you desire. -The car is surprisingly smooth, doesn't feel like a hassle to drive and feels very light(more speed) which is true (around 900kgs, similar with Baleno). -Engine is well behaved in both noise and driving wise. The engine provides instant power with minimal delay. Descent mid range revs, meaning overtaking will not be that complicated. No such issue in performance, just put in some high octane feul(optional) and this car will give you descent amount of power for what you paid. -Gear shift is firm and crispy in manual, suspension is on the stiffer side which may be beneficial on high speeds but is not the best in city driving, the car surely loves cruising on highways and will be effortless to drive. -Design is totally new and far better from the older gen. This time the tables turned and the new Dzire was designed before the new Swift or we can say its no longer swift with boot. Overall the design is lot more sophisticated. -Coming to the interior, now this is one of the main things the dzire is ahead from its younger sibling Swift* with an airy and roomy feeling beige cabin which comes with dual tone, plus the rear a/c vent and hand rest comes in handy. Can't forget the wooden trim on dashboard. -Coming to Audio and infotainment, Dzire undoubtedly got the best audio system in its segment. Got the classic Apple Carplay and Android auto touch screen. The speaker components provide high quality crisp audio and clear bass with premium streaming apps at mid volume. Even the 4 speaker set in lower models is unexpectedly nice. -Car doesn't feel cheap from inside 'for the price'. Backseat area is descent in space with charging socket, ac vent and hand rest on the go. -Mileage point of view will be "respect the engine and it will respect you" in the petrol case. The car drinks minimum feul on mid and low rpm(s). Overall Dzire's petrol engine is the perfect blend of power and feul consumption. -Great family car with plenty boot and rear seat space. Family trips will not be a problem. Not so good things: -For these goodies, the company surely did some cost cuttings. Like the door sheet and body are lighter that can put a direct question on car's durability, which is expected if you're paying lakhs. -The cabin can be pretty noisy with tire noise and outside noise while driving which you eventually get used to. (Damping is suggested) -a descent road bump will definitely wake your passenger from daydreaming thanks to the stiff suspension we mentioned. -small tires on lower models might not make your neighbours jealous (alloys suggested) The new Dzire is suitable for every age generation giving overall comfort, light and easy driving, descent power(not the best) and space. After an year of driving and completing 20000kms, the car never broke down or gave any kind of problem, and still looks and feels like the 1st month. Just Timely services from authorised service centre and the car will barely complaint. Dzire has proved to be the best option in this segment. In the end it comes to your personal preference.
