Maruti Suzuki Dzire [2017-2020] User Reviews

I want to share my experience, recently I purchased a DZIRE VXI after reading number of good reviews of this car, but I feel that the most of the reviews are marketing gimmicks because nobody provide the car registration number in reviews. My purchase of DZIRE VXI is a great disappointment for me, it is a one of the worst car which I had driven.

The car is unable to move when I release half clutch, every time there is a need of accleration to move the car, it is a great headache to drive this car in bumper to bumper traffic. I reported this issue to MARUTI but they are telling that it is a normal behavior of the DZIRE 2017 because the initial RPM of these cars are low and if they increase the initial RPM it will hamper the mileage, however the mileage of the car with the current setting is not very great as I am getting only 12-13 km/l in-spite of that the 50% of my driving route is very neat and clean. Mostly the people rely on the mileage as it is shown in display but it is fake, when check by tank full method I am getting 12-13 k.m./l while display showing 15.8-16.2 k.m/l.

If I talk about the quality of car component, within in a month of use there was some chirping sound from clutch pedal and pedal hardening problem occurred in my car when it was reported to MARUTI workshop the adviser told me that there is a need to oiling/Greasing in clutch fork and for that they have to open gearbox of the car. After oiling that problem is OK till today. I can't understand why MARUTI supply this kind of vehicle to the customer which required this kind of repair in just 1000 k.m.

Is it not a poor workmanship or a example of cheap material used by such a big company. Only one thing I like in this car i.e. AC it gives very fast cooling.

ACCLUTCH

Everything, i.e. style, design, safety features and mileage is fine except build quality. Too light to stay unaffected even you met with a minor accident. Pro: style, safety features, design, space, mileage. Cons: Build and paint quality is very poor. Final verdict: if you're good at driving and financially not sound, just go for it.

I m fully satisfied to bought DZIRE VXI Very good boot space, mileage 23 Kmpl to 25Kmpl during air condition no problem I m very lucky and happy to buy this Dzire VXI, we are driving such a car without any fear maintenance nil we enjoying during Better car and maintenance less. They say that their service cost for the car is cheaper than me but the spares cost are a little expensive than Maruti Suzuki.

Maruti although has been one of the best in market has not been able to produce safer cars in any segnent When tested the car all around the metal sheets were so thin that a hard press can deviate the shape of a door. Also the reliability concerns over AMT is questionable on a long run. Positive : best service station good features national engine Negetive: poor build AMT reliability concerns

Pros. Very good mileage ( city 22.5 highway 24 ) Excellent engine, very good breaks control. Instruments like BMW Cons. The body metals may be 26 gaugr6. Very poor quality. If press in ur hand it will pend If u get accident we can not repair we have to change entire body Suggestion. Drive very carefully.

Perfect car for family, performance and features are awesome for price, the least thing that can say in VXI that V for value for money. The 1.2 litre petrol engine is perfect for 5 speed manual transmission.

Pros- looks, mileage, space Cons- body quality, paint quality I bought DzireZXI 2017 last month. So far it was all good. I just had a very minor scratch and the paint came out to expose the rusted internal body. It appears there is no primer layer. Wafer thin layer of paint. Very poor quality product from Maruti. Not expected when you spend Rs 8lacs.
