I bought new Ciaz Zeta Petrol MT on 29th Dec18 from Nexa Vasai. In one line I can describe the overall experience of the vehical as "Very disappointing". I wrongly expected a lot out of Nexa and the Nexa product but only to my great disappointment. To my great suprise, when I received the RC book smart card after 3 months, the month/year of manufacturing was July2018, while as I remember, the new Ciaz was launched in August or September 2018. The same info of month is nowhere mentioned on the Nexa invoice, it cleverly mentions year 2018 only. That might be the reason, the vehicle did not "feel" new from outside and inside even during delivery from Nexa Vasai showroom The physical appearance, 'smell' of newly launched premium offering from company like Maruti and that too Nexa was totally missing. The vehical that I recieved has many problems, I can write only a few here. The engine is not at all silent, makes very high noise even in idling and during driving one can hear the raving even in closed cabin, that some time gives you a mixed feeling of driving your loved old car or like driving a beast like Ferrari (at much cheaper price, you know). The head lights were not set properly, that was fortunately corrected in first service, but still the LED projector head lamps are not at all enough for safe fast (80+) driving at night. The horn on steering wheel is very difficultly placed, so one has to take the grip off steering to blow horn. The auto engine turn off feature seldom works and when to your great luck it works, it also works opposite by auto engine start up after a few minutes of auto stop. For stopping the engine there is not a 2 step key and after stopping the engine by pressing ignition switch once, everything turns off and you need to swich it on again for running music, AC, closing windows, retracting ORVMs etc...very boring and frustrating. The window movement is not smooth, make a lot of noise like an old unserviced vehical. The driver side door has some issue, it doesn't get latched with normal push, I have to bang it in fury each time, which I easily do as an outlet to my frustration on the premium outlet Nexa and Maruti Suzuki....still unresolved after first service. There is a misterious noise in cabin, god knows from where...it feels like I am using an age old Maruti 800 that is not at all serviced. There is a noise from beneath, may be from front shock absorbers whever it crosses even a smallest bump. Also there is sound like the middle bottom portion is touching the bumps. This happens even with single riding without any load on smallest of bumps even at slow speeds. Due to this I don't feel like taking the car out and prefer a two wheeler instead when possible. Don't feel like taking friends and relatives to have ride in my brand new Ciaz, which I have upgraded from my 8 years old 2011 new WagonR after driving for some 87000 KM. I feel that was a better car and I have committed a very costly mistake. Maruti Suzuki, can I re-exchange and get my old car and cashback with some more compensation for my valuable time and lost peace of mind? Moreover, there is no authorized service facility in Boisar and the nearest is at Palghar, which makes it very difficult for me to immediately visit for above problems, at it consumes most time of my dear weekly off day. Although there are many positives and good featues, I am not mentioning here as one can look at it in other reviews of satisfied customers and the feature list of Ciaz. It was the same thing for which I bought it, being a very loyal customer of Maruti for more that 12 years and 3 different vehicals. All said & done, I am still hopeful, all these problems would be solved in due course of time by trained people in Maruti Suzuki Service. But the experience of a new vehical purchasing that I have had, is irreversible. The question remains, what the hell they do in final inspection for passing the vehical out from their so called state of the art manufacturing units?
