Exterior..good finish....just thinking when maruti will fulfill the complete finshing style ..with filling up the gaps between bonet and the fenders or trunk and the bumpers.....but the electronic ORVM are good...

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort0 its excellent....ample leg room...qiute comfortable for long journeys......as well as for short ones.... tremendous driving comfort/////plastics need to be redefined....the interior needs a quite a lot of innovations...company fitted sunscreen is quite acknowledged/////

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox...its ok....hill driving was also comfortable.....shifting of gears is also very very smooth.....fuel economy is fine.....but as claimed 26kmph in diesel... i think its little hard to get

 

Ride Quality & Handling..after i changed the tyres....the quality of riding and handling completely changed.....but the tyres need an upgrade....i upgraded it to 235/60/15 to get the desired output

 

Final Words......qiute an excellent car....finally a complete full size sedan form an indian car manufacturer.... a long wait.... but fulfilled to 90% satisfaction

Areas of improvement....please give some broader tyres at purshase....it would certainly give some driver confidence

Exterior: Though Some fin the exterioris to be average but in my opinion they are quite good. From all the angles the car looks great and has a big road presence. But looks are subjective.

 

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): Feature wise this is the best car in its segment and they were a deal breaker while I was in the market looking for a car at this price band. It was between City and Ciaz for me but I choose Ciaz mainly because its interiors look better than City and also it offers more value for your money. Had City VX been 50k cheaper then it would have been tough to decide but at these prices, buying CIaz was a no brainer. Its bigger, has a better milage, better interiors and its features are at par with the CIty. Add to that all those practicle storage space and a smooth city and Highway rider. The Navigation system is top notch and so is the touch screen Display for Music system. Pairing with your phone is quite easy too and my iPhone connects as soon as the car starts.

Space is brilliant, both in the front and rear. You can easily sit 5 adults and that too with small suitcases with them. The rear legroom room is segment leading!

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: Fuel economy for me so far is lurking around 14 and so far I have done 1600 kms. But I expect it to be around 16 after 2500 kms. Overtaking is easy on the highways and in the city I feel its just amazing to drive. The accelerator though could have been a bit more juicy based on the amount of input provided.

 

Ride Quality & Handling: Ride quality is good and you always feel in control while behind the wheels of this car.

 

Final Words: It is a great car and as the market situation stands currently its given quite a stiff competition to the segment leader-Honda City. Last month(Nov-15) sales(Honda City ~6300 and Ciaz ~5500) are a testimony to that(Verna ~1000 only). Maruti after sales service and easy maintenance add more fun to the ownership experience. 

Areas of improvement: None come to my mind, though if I have to say one then I would like to see a more dynamic accelerator and a smoother gearbox.

 

 

Comfort, Features, RideGear Shifting

Exterior I just Love the way it looks on the Outside. The Elegant Brown Colour that i have looks Premium. There are other features like Projector Headlamps, Aerodynamic Body, 16 inch Alloy Wheels, Huge 510 Lts. Boot Space etc.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The Zxi + model is simply loaded with features like 7 inch AVN Screen for Audio, Video, Reverse Camera, Navigation & Smartphone Mirroring. Nice Biege Interiors, Roomy Cabin with acres of space, PU Leather Seats & Leather wrapped Steering with Audio Controls, Reverse Camera with Sensors, Auto Folding & Adjusting Side view Mirror, Start/Stop Button, Keyless Entry etc etc.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine feels great to Drive although slightly underpowered at 1348 CC, Fuel Economy is Good ( yet to get the exact figures), the Gear shift is really smooth.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is Wonderful, Never found it underpower, Suspension takes care of the Bad roads and over all the Car is fun to drive.

Final Words I have paid Rs. 10.80 Lakhs On Road Mumbai and have found this car a Value for Money product from Maruti.

Areas of improvement Engine Power could have been 1.50 or 1.60 L as in the competition.

Exterior Looks Reaaly good from the exterior especially from the front.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) The cabin is the most roomiest cabin in the class. It also has lots of feature.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have owned the diesel version of this car and I can tell you its a mini rocket however there is a initial lag  till about 1800 rpms but once you cross it you are amazed by its performance. I have driven it till 140 kph and it comes real quickly and car feels undercontroled. Gear shift are also good. fuel efficiency is good but however its not as much as company claimed.

Ride Quality & Handling The car rides really good and you dont feel the potholes....

Final Words Just buy this car and dont see the negative reviews of the car(because they are not true). Buy the zdi model as it is more value for money

Exterior Body should be made little strong and also some more colours options should be there. Even central locking should be improved as it is not from Nippon anymore. I personaly don't like the sound of the central locking, their should be silent central locking in the car.

Rest Higly Spacious car with great interiors and features. Rest it is a superb car to own from maruti, Leaders in indian car market. I have driven alomost 5000 Kilometers and extremely satisfied with the drive. Highly recommend this car to everyone. I am a proud owner of Maruti Suzuki Ciaz vxi+; Better then honda city. Maintenance is reasonable in comparison to other sedan cars. Great handling and pick up. Amazing performance on Highways. Great customer service provided by Maruti Suzuki, Which I feel they have improved and their great hospitality treatment for ciaz owner. What else; all the sedan buyers should consider this option. Great Alloy designs, Aerodynamically designed. Must go for this car.

I will soon be buying the automatic version of this car.

i have some issue with gearbox but not so worried about it coz it will get resolved aft 1 st serviceing so no big issue , fuel eco : good . giving 20Kmpl . just ride 900 Km .

Engine : Giving exllent power ,  but i like most is SHVS its rocking really working fine saving ur fuel.

 Engine Performance is i had driveed this car upto 150 KM speed on Agra expressway and there is no such issue i have faced even car was smoothly running in 150 Speed , 

Fuel Economy:-  Before 1st service i was getting 17KMPL total drived 1170 KM then after 1st service i am getting 20 KMPL drived 2100 KM now my car total running is 3872 KM and i am getting 22 KMPL to run this car avrage seepd 80KM. Best mileage in 80 to 100 KM if you drive in range of 60-80 you will get 20 to 22 KMPL in 1 to 2nd service , As of now i had done only 1st service date 22-12-2016

 Ride quality is good smooth ridding i am happy with this car handling is easy there is no more cost envolbe in serivce this car 

Final Words

 Maruti had made a lot of changeg in this car and now Ciaz SHVS model is good also in reast another deasel car we get permit for 10 yrs but in CIAZ SHVS  we get 15 yrs permit as comprision of petrol car also mileage an better than another deasel car good Boot space storage space is also good comfert is moe than another sedaan car

 Maruti need to add some modification as per new genratrion like

1. LED Tail Lamps,

2. LED Dayligh Lapms in headlight.

3. Speaker quality need to be change.

4. Find my CAR apps required to more safty of the car.

5. Basic kit quality is not good as per price and maruti brand.

6. Rear AC control System.

 No doubt its a eye catcher whether displayed inside a showroom or on a busy traffic and it makes everyone to give a second glimpse before moving on . Projector light is an added attration which gives rich styling to the sedan .Front Grille is decent and simple and I loved the way tail lights are designed and the best part is 18 spoke Gun metal alloy wheels which is so premium and upmarket and no sedans can match .

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Once you step in you are greeted with luxurious interiors which is really impressive .Leather seats are crafted with gentle care and perfection. 7 inch Infotainment is a great piece of art and it fits in well positioned dashboard rack . And there's lots of storage place  which can fit in your mobile phones ,water bottles etc and they are very handy you need not struggle to grab them. Rear passengers enjoy a cheffuer driven exprinece thanks to plenty of legroom .

 

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

 Once I hit Start button the real enjoyment starts,engine is tuned to such a perfection and its so silent  that you have see tachomeer to confirm ignition. I had some problem shifting between first and reverse gears but I felt its common among any new cars . Gear shifts are very smooth especially while travelling in a closed traffic and with my regular use and with my driving style I am getting a mileage about 13.5 KMPL with all time AC on and I felt this is much better my friends Brio .

Ride Quality & Handling

 Took my car on highways over weekend and I don't say it's a super charged car but the performance of a 1.4 litre engine churning out 90 PS of power was really impressive and satisfactory.I could easily touch 120 kmph in less time and car was bound to go further and you could feel engine refinement very well here with no engine noise . Steering respone at high speeds are very responsive and it gives you confidence of driving at very high speeds.

Final Words

 At last I say its the master crafted piece under 12 lakhs and you will never regret your purchase.

Areas of improvement  

 Needs to improve instrument console which I feel is slightly outdated.

 

Elegant exterior looks, Premium interiors,Good mileage,Very easy driving.Instrument console could have been better like the one used in Baleno/Vitara breeza.
