Everybody knows that the plastic quality of maruti on dashboards and doors is not that good from day one so no comments on that. i think it has become a standard to use sub standard plastic
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
now, it has a new Kb 10 engine which in turn is quite good, the acceleration from 2nd to 3rd gear is like fast so good for overtaking, but it lags in the 4 th gear...
the gearbox is smooth and not like wagon R a bit rough
i hav driven 5000 kms and it is giving me an Avg. of 21-22 kmpl on Cng and 16-17 Kmpl On Petrol...
But i guess it will increase as soon as i go for a oil change on my 3 rd service which is on 10000 kms...
Ride Quality & Handling
Ride quality is where this car has given me a surprise, i drive daily from Gurgaon To Noida and let me tell you Iam not at all tired even after driving 90kms up and down... the centre grip of car is amazing and it does not wobbles even at high speeds. i personally hav rhd speeds upto 120kmph... Not for traffic cops to read though... I t comes with a 165mm 14inch tyres so a broad tyre from maruti....
Final Words
Generally i go for new concepts whenever i buy a car so between I10 Cng and Celerio go for Celerio though I10 has a slightly powerfull engine but even in celerio u dont come to knw that you are driving a 998cc car...
Areas of improvement
Maruti just has to make its quality of plastics better.. i know its a world of cost cuttings but still come on, maruti is one of the oldest car maker in India, and now people are ready to spend a few extra bucks if they get a better quality...
spacious, good feel, comfortable driveplastic quality is not so descent as compared to I10

Exterior
I felt the styling to be attractive and better in aero-dynamics compared to Wagon-R.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Roomy and spacious interior, much better when compared to most cars in the mid-segment though at a much competitive cost. Comfortable seats even for the rear seat passengers giving excellent leg room and no arm nudging around!😊 The ride is very comfortable and is a pleasurable experience.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
I have driven the Celerio Vxi CNG for 2500+ kms during the last 2 months and been very satisfied so far. The engine is very silent and gives good pickup even on the CNG and with AC on. Gear shifting is no pain at all and very soft to the drivers arm. The new K10B engine is certainly a winner.
What I have liked is the fuel economy which has been around 20 - 25 km / kg of CNG in Mumbai traffic, this is while the drive being partly on highway and partly in city traffic and having the AC almost always on. Surely it is a good bet and I have saved a good amount compared to my petrol car earlier.
Ride Quality & Handling
The ride is very smooth and noise-free. The shock abs are pretty good and handle the road bumps nicely. Gear box is also very smooth. The car is extremely steady at speeds of about 100-120, not wobbly at all and had good braking stability, it's broader tyres to count on. In all a great driving pleasure and long drives are a breeze.
Final Words
An excellent choice for the mid-segment and price and fuel economy concious class.
Areas of improvement
Would have been a greater appeal if Maruti Suzuki adds some more attractive vibrant colours to choose from instead of the standard colours specially considering the young buyer in mind.
The exterior paint quality can be better.
Very spacious, comfortable drive, good pickup and easy handlingExterior paint seems to be too thin, easily scratches

Exterior THE FRONTSIDE OF THE CAR IS VERY GOOD AND ATTRACTIVE COMPARE TO REAR SIDE.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) MARUTI SHOULD HAVE TO IMPROVE THE FITTING OF COMPONENTS, PLUS SEATS ARE NOT THAT MUCH COMFORTABLE FOR LONG RIDES. IT IS VERY SPACIOUS FROM INSIDE AND 5 PERSON CAN EASILY TRAVEL.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox GEARBOX IS NOT AS GOOD AS COMPARE TO GRAND I10. ENGINE PERFORMANCE IS OK WITH 5 PEOPLE IN THE CAR IN BOTH PETROL AND CNG.
CNG FUEL DELIVERS AROUND 26KM PER KG IN CITY WITH AC WHICH IS VERY GOOD I GUESS BUT IN PETROL THIS REDUCES TO AROUND 17KM PR LTR.
PICK UP OF THE CAR IS NOT IMPRESSIVE.
Ride Quality & Handling DUE TO POOR SUSPENSION THE RIDE QUALITY IS NOT IMPRESSIVE. HANDLING IS GOOD, BREAKS ARE EFFECTIVE.
Final Words I LOVE THIS CAR DUE TO ITS FUEL ECONOMY. IF YOU WANT A BUDGET CAR WITH GOOD SPACE AND IF YOU CAN IGNORE FEW POINTS THEN THIS THE BEST FAMILY CAR FOR YOU. I STRONGLY RECOMMENDED TO GO FOR VXI CNG MODEL. 😊

Bought my celeio VXI/CNG manual in Oct 2014 and have done about 20k kms till now.
Exterior Not the best around definitely. but you kinda get used to living with it. I have started liking how I dont get bored of the way it looks. i get bored of some of the other flashy styling around pretty easily. Celerio's pretty hunble in this respect and i kinda like that now.
However, it's not exactly the best in terms of build quality and tends to register scratches and bumps quite easily. not the safest car around- something to keep in mind while buying
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) At the time of buying the car i did not really know well how different variants of celeio differ in feature list. the manual petrol version does not get a tachometer but the cng version does. It also has a fuel average calculator that you can use when driving on perol (not available while on cng) that also shows you how much instantaneous average you are achieving. pretty useful and fun to play with while driving. you can also configure the digital display near the speedometer to dim automatically when you switch on the headlights, which i particularly appreciate.
I had also bought a MGA package including a sony audio head with bluetooth, MGA front door speakers, remote central locking, and body colored handles and mirrors. I'm quite happy with the way it all comes together.
The driving seat. however, is not comfortable. at least for me. it's too thin for my comfort and is scooped in too much. I put a pillow on the seat to avoid backaches.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The gearbox is light and zippy, no issues there. I like how it drives with cng- makes it more peppy at lower rpms. I DO NOT like driving the car on petrol in heavy traffic, it's just too much work and requires a lot of gear changes since it lacks power on low rpms. i do prefer driving on petrol when on the highway, much more fun.
I have driven the car from delhi to udaipur and back, also from delhi to multiple weekend trips around chandigarh. love the way it stays composed at tripple digit speeds. i usually drive around 100-120 kmph if i have the road stretch available and the car never complains.
also, you WILL be suprised by how much space there really is inside the car. I've had many instances where it has trumped other cars in terms of how easily it can fit 5 ppl.
Ride Quality & Handling The ride can be a bit stiff at times but at this price point i'm not going to complain about that. the handling is excellent. top points to maruti for that. great visibility (except the fat side bar) and a responsive steering. it can be pushed into corners fairly easiliy but i do have to keep a check on the body roll.
Final Words Great buy if you want an urban commuter with occasional highway trips. I would suggest the cng if you have it available in your city. you will easily discount the looks once you start using the car. I'm happy I decided to buy this car

Exterior Very Robust from the front. It is really good Large Swept back Headlamps, Grippy Door handles.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) No compromise on the inside feels vey Spacious, lots of storage space also
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox More Torque in CNG mode Till 3K RPM compared to Petrol Mode, Loved it. Great economy ever. On highway in CNG with AC gives economy of 30km/kg. Gear ratios are perfected according to engine. I have driven the Celerio Vxi CNG for 50,000+ kms during the last 18 months and very satisfied so far. The engine gives good pickup even on the CNG and with AC on.
Ride Quality & Handling Short turning radius makes it very maneuverable.
Final Words Great Car if you want an daily commuter with few highway trips. I would suggest the cng if only you have it available in your city. I'm satisfied I bought this car

Buying experience was good for me, I got this car within 24 hours as I had opted for White CNG option. For Ride quality I had experienced that sometimes it feels more bumpy in Rural areas. Ride quality will be improved if you fit your car with good tyres like Bridgestone or Michelin. Looks is one's personal opinion. According to me I had opted for celerio because I got bored with the looks of WagonR. Service time is pretty less for maruti cars. But some service centres force you for synthetic oil or some unnecessary replacement to charge you high. But normally it bills around Rs. 3500-4000 for 10k kms service and Rs. 5000-6000 for 20k kms service, if you ignore their unnecessary replacements. Till now I had faced only one issue, the AC pipe got leakage problem. Which was repaired in Rs. 1500. And after driving 50k kms. my clutch plate is not responding good so I am going to replace it. Performance in CNG is quite impressive when compared with the CNG cars which is fitted after market. I had driven this car in cities (70%), on highways (20%), and in rural areas (10%). And the car was supportive in all the conditions. If mileage is your main concern then with decent drive you can get 14-17 kmpl in petrol mode in cities. And 22-25 km/kg in CNG in cities. And on highway you can get 20 kmpl or more in petrol, and 25-30 km/kg in CNG. Cabin is spacious when you compare it with i10 or tiago. Visibility is decent. Gives you confidence while driving due to a little tall boy design with less body roll. Pros of this car is; 1. Mileage (very economical) 2. Ready for all types of road conditions 3. Ride quality and Handling is balanced very well 4. Service network is very very good, you will not have to feel the pain of waiting for your car 5. After market accessories are easily available due to high no. of sales of this car 6. Roomy Cabin 7. No matter you are short or tall, you will find a proper driving position Cons 1. A little Noisy on bumpy roads 2. Some small issues can arise like slow movement of power windows while opening or closing. 3. You will need to do alignment of your tyres after every 5k or 6k kms to give you better ride experience. 4. It is good upto the speed of 120 or 130kmph but after that you will start noticing noise in the cabin. 5. Build quality is moderate, you will find your bumper damaged easily if stuck with a light collision This all was an honest opinion from my side and I had covered all the points which I had experienced during last 3 years and 4 months of driving. And I had driven it for more than 50k kms. That's all from my side, I hope this will help you in taking your right decision.
