The car is very good . Its a 2012 car and including True Value waranty the total warranty I am getting till 2016 .

But If you are planning to buy a car from True Value , be very much cautious of the dealer. They are always ready to misguide you and don't ever believe what they are saying. Check everything on papers. They will say many things before you make the final payment.

I purchased this car from Sai Service , Hyderabad . And before purchasing i asked them if everything is in order and they said Yes. I believed them as I thought I am buying from Maruti , so everything should be ok.

On the promised delivery date , they could not deliver. They delivered almost 5 days after the promised delivery date and that too after around 10 calls daily to them. On delivery I noticed that the guy has not brought any papers , including the duplicate key. He said everything will be given the next day.Again I believed them and made the ful payment in cash.

Next day : I called them (to get the shock of my life) , and they are telling me that
      1) the insurance for the car has expired many days ago
      2) duplicate key and remote is not available

I asked them to give me the experied insurace documenst , so that I can atleast renew that one. That too they are not having. They were supposed to transfer the ownership to my name , so I asked them to do that , then I will take care of the insurance.

      Meanwhile ,
      1) they delivered the car with a punctured spare tyre. I took it to repairing shop , they are saying the puncture is in such a place that it can not be repaired and the tubeless tyre needs to be replaced.
      2) when the car was sent for servicing , it turned out that the oilsum(which contains the engine oil) is damaged , and before delivery they have used mseal to block the leak.

Anyways , all this happened six months back . And still they have not been able to transfer the ownership to my name.

My advise to you all if you are planning to buy from Maruti True Value :
      1) have the car checked from another service centre.
      2) Check all papers
      3) Check for all keys and remotes
      4) Check the tyre condtions.

Exterior Compact and Nice Head and Tail lamps,  Front look will make you feel like a sedan class version.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Only front powered windows, Very good for 4 persons and good for 5 persons. Space is ok as far this model is concern.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Very good performace with 4 persons in ghats and long drives. Good mileage for its class (max I got is 20kms without A/C). No points to mention with respect to Gearbox because its very good till time.

Ride Quality & Handling Till time its very good. Very good handling even in ghats and kacha roads.

Final Words Best in class for its range. You will never feel regret for its looks and handing. First-class for a family of 4.

Areas of improvement No specific comments from my side as its best for its range. On the whole is best value for money car. I love it!!

Good fuel economy, Good Style, Above Avgerage InteriorsNo specific things from my side

Looks great, especially the headlights. Far better than alto 800. Also the length of car gives a good feel to look at it. Doesnt look cramped from outside.

Same old interiors. No big change. The plastic quailty as expected in this price range. A big thumbs down for maruti.

Engine is simply rocking. K10 is one of the best engines at present. Good to drive and very responsive. But slightly sluggish at second gear with AC on.

Power stearing and peppy engine gives a very good experience of driving a car. Far better than EON or Spark.

Go for it, if u r looking for a descent car in limited budget.

Final words In a budget of 4 lacs, its the best car. When u compare the car with its competitors like EON, Spark etc, k10 is far better. The only dissapointment can b the interiors. Maruti pls change the interiors of k10, they suck big time. Also no audio system in vxi model.

Maruti Brand Name, Peppy Engine, Powerful AC, Easy to ride in city trafficrear space, should have included a audio system in vxi model atleast

      1. Being a Maruti, the buying experience was hassle-free 2. The riding experience is best in its class. 3. Classy looks!!! The 1.0 ltr k series engine with 68bhp works out well in the city and on the highways both. 4. Low costs and maintenance are what Maruti been known for and this one is not an exception. 5. Pros: a decent powered car with a decent price tag for first-time car buyers Cons: could have been a little more equipped.

I have been driving this car since 2012. I have done many long trips starting from Hills to Beaches to Wildlife Sanctuaries to Muddy roads (off-road). Trust me its been amazing memories and great moments with this car. Never ever disappointed me. Very low maintenance. Amazing fuel economy. I have even speeded with big cars but K10 engine us just amazing. The initial throttle is mind-blowing. I have recently bought a high-end SUV but will never sell this car because I still love driving this car than the new one. Its gives me ease to travel in traffic and utmost comfort.

      Exterior

Very good styling.  Real rocket. very compact body for city driving

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

Good for a small family. excellent for city. Long trips a challange. Rear leg room not convenient. Boot space a big issue. Each and every pot holes will be terribly felt inside.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Completed 10000 KMs in around 18 months. Recently made a Kerala trip from Bangalore and back. (1000 KM round trip). Got a fuel economy of 21+ KM/Ltr with full time AC usage. Getting 16-17 KM/Ltr in Bangalore city use.

      Ride Quality & Handling

Stability above 100KM speed is an issue. Very easy to handle in a city. excellent acceleration and will give a challenge to many of the sedans on road 😄. Steering feels very light and lacks confidence nin the 3 digit speeds.

      Final Words

Value for money. Very good for a small family for city.

      Areas of improvement

Interior needs more better quality. Music system should be a standard part.

Peppy, excellent fuel economy, acceleration, very good ACRear leg space, Shock absorber

Initially when I started to look for buying a car in 2011, I had the following in mind 1.it should be affordable(within 4lacs) 2. fuel efficient 3.decent space 4.maintenance free/less 5.serviceability and reliability 6.idle for small family of 3-4 With the above requirements, I started looking for options 1. chevy spark was in the budget with tall boy design and beige interiors attracted me, in the process I also saw the Hyundai santro ,Wagon R and both were good in all the specs, but going beyond 4 lacs. So, I almost finalized the spark and even paid a booking advance, and that's when my brother advised me to go for Alto K10 and after driving it too, I felt chevy spark was more VFM with the spacious beige interiors and heart was still there, but my brother insisted to buy K10 for my purpose. Hence, I went with his decision and now felt that was a wise decision with 7 years of ownership of K10(sunlight copper), it became a part of my family and every time I drove it became more part of me( like the way I think it just drives ) I loved every bit of it, and we were so emotional to part with it after final 7 years and 38000 of kms. My driving was mostly inside city and for the first 2 years It was just in the parking and only running in the weekends. However in the 3rd year I relocated to a place nearby office (7kms) and that's when I started driving it for everyday, so my miles started. Had done 5-10 long drives 3-4 times to Tirumala, 2 to Thiruvannamalai, 2 to chidamabaram, cuddalore and the longest being Chennai->ahobilam-mahanandi-belum caves-kadappa-Chennai during dec 2017. In many long drives, had to drive during day/night time on bad and broken roads and in all the time, K10 took it with ease and never ever gave me any sort of trouble anywhere, and it was so reliable that I felt it was talking to me in the last few days like "what did I do wrong that you are sending me away" or "what did I fall short on that you are leaving me" K10 was more than a decent performer and always revv happy . In one recent long drive(Nov 2018) from Pondy to Chennai on ECR, I pressed it hard(that was the only time , mostly I drive in 80 and sometimes it goes to 100 and I will bring it to 80-because i go by safety is more important than speeding) and it happily responded and went to 120 and rallied between 100-120 for a few kms stretch and was not so happy if I brought it down to 80. My K10 was the old design of 2011 which had the same body as alto800 but an extended bonnet for accommodating the K10 engine which gave it a overhang in the front and looked like a big car from the front side. I personally felt if it was a little taller( which maruti later designed and introduced ) would have been good for interior space. The space and interiors were just adequate , the boot space could have been a bit more to accommodate big luggage during long travels, however we adjusted with placing some luggage in the passenger seat as mostly were only 3 including me. Mileage was superb in long drives it returned 20-22 and in city mostly 14-15, my driving was so limited that I had to fill it mostly once a month and rarely twice. Servicing and Maintenance were also less, except a few times body shop work, where It met with small accidents due to other vehicles brushing it in the rear and side door section. The last few days of parting was so emotional , that till the last minute we were contemplating to cancel the new car booking and continue with K10 boy. However, all good things have their time to bid adieu(like humans), so finally bid adieu to K10 and it returned to us in grown up CIAZ avatar. Overall if one is looking for a first time car, I recommend to go with K10( now with better space, comfort and safety features ), you will really love it for its simple design and superb performance.

      Exterior

Really good improvement from the original model-- I had an Alto Lxi and chose the K10 later in exchange. Really happy with it.

      Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)

You dont get any real feature but you can upgrade it as much as you like. I spent upto Rs.50,000 on interior decorations and upgradation -- but it was worth it because it feels like a BM from the inside now!

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox

Easy shifting gears, shorter gear stick, really exceptional fuel economy (giving me 25kmpl). Really nice pickup and the engine responds very nicely to inputs from clutch and accelerator.

      Ride Quality & Handling

Really good! Feels really smooth on highways but dont go off-roading with it. :P

      Final Words

Really good car... buy buy buy-  Really upped the quality and the K series engine is a dream. We had enough cash to buy the Dezire too but we weren't planning to stay in India long so this little baby suited me best.

Really good value for money and while Maruti's service isnt top notch they do go out of their way to make sure you have a fantastic experiance in their show room. Everything was done with perfection and even the after sales is fantastic.

I would certainly prefer Suzuki over any other company. I've had my old Alto Lxi since 2009 and honestly I miss it now that I've exchanged it. It may not be a feature rich luxury hotel on wheels but it did the job well. Now my K-10 has taken over and is becoming a worthy new companion (if not replacement).

      Areas of improvement

Space-- I beg Suzuki to please stretch this car a bit. Just so there's enough leg room for rear passengers.

Excellent fuel economy, fantastic price and can be modded to look like a Swift from the inside.Space- they should have provided for more leg room and stretched it a bit.
