Exterior Ok.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Poor space, less legroom.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Almost stuck on A/c, good fuel economy.
Ride Quality & Handling Low maintenance cost.
Final Words I am having this car since 2005 and driven for more than 50000 kms. My experience about Alto is very good car. I have getting 21 km/liter average with A/C on. My monthly driving is app. 1000 to 1500 km.The most economical car which I have seen.Acording to me it is suitable if your budget is low and best bet on this price but you have to compromise on space and power. You can move to other choice if your pocket allows, otherwise still it is the best in this price.
Comfort: It is a reasonably comfortable car that seats 4 adults easily. However the head room and the leg room will make you feel like you're cramped up in a plastic box. 5 adults sitting in this Maruti car would be a bad descision. But then again, its good enough for four people. The driver's seat is comfy too which makes the drive hassle free and non cumbersome.
Pickup: Although the pick is great, Maruti Alto is a tough machine to drive in the second gear when you've turned on the air conditioner.
Mileage: I am absolutely bowled over by its mileage and I'm sure everybody else is too. Alto offers a mileage of around 16 kmpl in the city city when you have my AC on. In a city like Mumbai, getting a mileage like this is a great deal. It shrinks your monthly expenses which is everyone's reason to worry. Compared to other hatchbacks, Alto wins hands down in the mileage department.
Best Features: Some of the best features of Alto are that it is a value for money car. I would specially like to mention the after sales service which is easily available and awesome at the same time. The riding comfort is excellent too.
Areas of improvement Interiors, Space, Power, Front Light- which is sort out by replacing lamp of 130/90 with cutout cost Rs.1000/-

I have clockd around 10000 kms in this car by now, Its the best car in the segment, in the matter of pickup, looks, service etc. Still they could've positioned the number plate on the rear bumper instead of ruining the tailgate.
Exterior Paint quality is very bad for White color. so better to choose metalic colors. Head light style is better than old alto. New grille gives it a sporty look.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is somewhat as same in the old standard alto, not much improvement in that.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Excellent pickup and good response to throttle pedal. Gear shift is not so smooth or not even close to that of i10. Highly fuel efficient, Had a Trivandrum-Cochin-Trivandrum journey and I got a mileage of over 22 kmpl.
Ride Quality & Handling Steering feels more heavy than old alto, so is the handling. Ride quality is better.
Final Words Overall, this car is a very good pick. and excellent VFM.
Areas of improvement Interior styling, More space, better steering, 1/4 th of AC blows to the feet even if it's directed to face.
Improved pick up with A/C on. Good fuel economy, Style, good stability at 90-80 kmphLess spacious, rattling noises, Same old interiors as in std alto

Exterior Exteriors are quite ok but you can't expect much at this price range.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Same as old alto.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine Performance is good, but gear shifting is not quite rough.
Ride Quality & Handling I have driven A Star, Alto K10 and found that A Star was not at all comfortable in driving, K10 was smooth and had better seating position.
Final Words Good car in this price range. If you are buying for the first time and have to small pocket than, go for this car. you cant get any thing better in this price range. I have researched a lot before buying.
Areas of improvement Gear shifting could have been better. breaking is also not up to the mark, I have driven around 350 Km in last 20 days and I am getting around 12-13 Km/Ltr milage. with 10% of AC. Ii hope it will do better after a 2-3 months /1000 Km.

Exterior Looks good, looks like a small compact car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior space is much less.It is built for 5 pessangers but everyone has to adjust.Other cars in this segment like Cheverlet Spark has more space and every person can sit more comfortably than in alto.Overall length of Alto should be increase to provide more space.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine performance is not good with ac on.When you on the ac than you have to wait to get your car accelerated.Car suddenly goes slow when you on the ac.If you turn off the AC than there is sudden increase in the speed of the car.
This is the major drawback of ALTO. Also AC is not so powerfull. In summers you have to on it for more than 30 minutes, only than the temprature inside the car becomes normal.
Ride Quality & Handling Handling is easy. You can easily take it to market and busy roads.
Final Words It is good value for money but some features like AC, internal spcae and power should be improved.

Exterior I like exterior shape of Alto, it is very good for city driving eg. driving visibility is good, its necessary in tight parking areas. All around visibility is good except thick 'C' pillor.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good dashboard space utilisation in Alto. Glove box is average sized so we cant keep large bottels or files. Amber coloured spedometer looks good at night. Front seat posture is comfortable for average sized (5'7") people, but rear seat has little less spacious. Remote tail gate opener is absent hence we have to swith off the car and open it with keys is irritating. Plastic quality is again average but not bad too. Sum of all value for mony car.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine is quite good for city driving and regular highway driveing conditions. Its not a sports car so dont expect zooooooom like pickup. Fuel economy is one of the best part of Alto and its very good. I got @17 kmpl in city and @20-21 kmpl on highway runs.
Ride Quality & Handling Again ride quality is good, its suspension work good on even uneven roads ant potholes. Handling is very comfortable and effortless due to electronic power steering. In all maneuverability of Alto is very good.
Final Words All in all this car is very affordable fuel efficiant and easy to use car in ths segment.
Areas of improvement Maruti should provide few things like internaly adjustable mirrors (both side), Antiglair rear view mirror, and full wheel caps as standerd fitment on LXi model.
Good fuel economy, Less maintenance, Powerful ACPick up with AC, Little bit crumpled for back seat spaceExterior/Styles

Exterior Exterior look is really fantastic. One will surely take some time move his/her eyes. With the 13" wheels and a bit long nose its reminding the old Zen Classic look. One looking from the front might take this car to be Ford Ikon or any long hood sedan. From the rear one cannot say that this is a version of Maruti Alto unless he/shr reads out the emblem. Body Coloured ORVM could have added cherry to the iceing
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Feels very good, well spaced/roomy. The dual colour seat and door pads add to the look. The driver seat is a bit low height and the back seat headrest are totally useless. Ask the designer to seat in the back seat and try (If possible).
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox I have already driven for 1000 KM and felt very good about the engine. One thing that annoys a bit is the loudness of the engine. Gear shifting is quite smooth but the 2nd Gear lacks power with AC on. FE is around 15+ with AC and satisfied with this by looking at the traffic condition at bhubaneswar.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride Quality is smooth but got a bit of rattling sound. Got this steering bubbling problem at 90 - 100 KMPH but got it fixed in my 1st service after wheel balancing of the 4 tyres. After 1st srvice the car is giving a more smoother feeling.
Final Words This is a real bargain for a car within 4K and real VFM. Do not think twice for Alto K10, just go and get it.
Areas of improvement Body coloured ORVMs, Height Adjustable driving seat, Space for front bigger speakers for music lovers. The rear Parcel Tray(fitted with speakers) jumps and makes a sound on bumpy roads.
