Exterior The exterior design is outdated, with a long bonnet unusual for a small hatch, should have slightly more height.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Low quality plastic, cramped, a/c cools fast, good visibility, rear right door even when closed has a wide gap which even the service people cannot rectify. integrated head rest is not a good feature.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Works fine even when a/c is on, good fuel economy, gearshif OK, though reverse gear is slightly tight.
Ride Quality & Handling Handling good, ride quality good.
Final Words If you want to buy a car for mostly city commute with a family of 4 members, with a budget of less than Rs. 3.75 lakhs, go for it.
Areas of improvement The quality of the Interiors should be improved, height of the car should be increased, leg space should be more. rear right door even when closed has a wide gap which even the service people cannot rectify.

I bought an Alto K10 LXI as my first car and it is the best wherever you go. I feel it has got all the features a luxury car requires and it suits the budget of a middle class family like mine. I enjoy driving this compact concept car and the features included in it. The car has been doing great for me as I have to travel daily to the office or in the city areas. I have also gone for long drives in this car. It has been a pleasure using the Alto K 10 and I feel it has been a good buy. It does not require much maintenance and at the same time provides great mileage.
According to me people who have small family of around 5 people and require a car for their daily work then AltoK10 will suit all their requirements. It is comparatively cheaper than the cars in its segment. The fact that it performs much better those cars in its segment also makes it a good buy for me. I heard some negative reviews about Alto K series when I was going to buy it but I think may be those people have been proved wrong as the car has satisfied me and fulfilled my requirements. This car has always suited my driving style and along with me my family members are also satisfied with the features integrated in it. The car has provided me more than what I had expected and it has proved to be a good buy for me. Thanks to Maruti Suzuki.

Exterior I love it every time I see it. Shape is far better than all other Maruti models even today. I can compare it with Esteem only.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Steering & seat position is such that I feel no fatigue even after a nonstop run of 150 km. (At times I have travelled from Mumbai to Pune nonstop.) Front space is adequate. Rear space is a bit short; also head rests are inadequate in height. Boot is enough for a family of three. Interior was known to be good when it was purchased. Due to new arrivals it looks old now- a - days. Also, I had fitted front power windows as accessories, which add to comfort. Now its OE in K10.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Till today, I have driven it 80,735 km. There is no abnormality in engine sound. (I service every 5000 km at authorized station only). Gear box is as smooth as butter. Tyres are still original. They are ok for more 5,000 km only. I shall replace before this monsoon. I normally get fuel economy of 20 KMPL. Near servicing, it drops to 18.5.
Ride Quality & Handling I like driving fast. My alto has touched 145 kmph. I think it should have gone to 150 but not more than that. In Mumbai- Pune express way ghat I take sharp turns at 65- 70 kmph; and touch 95- 100 on straight patches. In all situations, road grip is good; body roll is also not much.
Final Words Can any authority suggest me a premium hatchback as reliable as Alto? (Its time to change car.)

Hi
I have bought my maruti alto 2008 lxi as used car from hyundai advantage rajajinagar bangalore. ownership experience was frustating, as I have bookeed car earlier with them to hear afterwards that the car has been booked already and I need to select a different one from the lot they show. the first one was also 2008 Lxi with music system and central lockingand 23k ru. The one I got is without music system and central locking and 24k run with only one key.
Since I had already paid the money and in hurry to get the vehicle just taken the delivery.
Vehicle delivered in november now its about 2000km run no compliants on the vehicle. But with ac is a drag, you need to switch off to move on otherwise its a slow acceleration.
Exterior Simple and cute lookig wine red Alto.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Had come with art leather seats, gear was smooth and the engine. it was services in october so without issues. its not a 5 seater its comfortable only for four. it toches almost all the humps in the city, dont know how much damage will have underneath, its my car so cannot comment much on quality of plastics etc.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine seemed initiatlly good, but after two long drives need for a bigger engine came up. gear was smooth and getting 24kmpl as highest mileage and 20kmpl the lowest on highways. city mileage never measured. as whatever need to fill it up.
Ride Quality & Handling As first time driver not in a position to compare with other cars, but for present scenario its good
Final Words Alto Lxi was my good choice as a first car no regrets on that
Areas of improvement Engine power, power windows atleast on the front and rearwiper would have been welcome.

Exterior On the outside, the car looks exudes practicality and sensibility of design. The only thing I feel that didnt fall in place is the longer front & this is my personal opinion. Otherwise the front grille with the chrome element, the eagle eyed headlamp design, the fog lamp housing, neat looking bumper design and the bonnet with twin flowing lines on either sides look impressive. On the rear better looking tail lamps and a more practical looking hatch also gives a good feel to the onlooker. The K10 dons R13 tyres that gives it good road grip and stability.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) On the interior the K10 does not feel much different from the older sibling the Alto 800 FD. However the cockpit has seen a bit of an improvement with amber lit Fuel, Odo & dual trip meter, better short gear shifter, three spoke urethane steering wheel with chrome Suzuki badge and dual tone dash. Among other features are front power windows, EPS, Cable type shifting, manual central locking, front fog lamps, bottle holders, door pockets, rear parcel tray etc. The interior looks better the Alto std with features super-added. Boot space also is good.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox It is here the K10 takes the cake. The car houses a 1 litre KB10 k-series all aluminium mill producing 68 bhp of power. The power to weight ratio of the car is very impressive which lends it great pick-up and power almost all the time. Though not very torquey, but is good enough for easy city driving. Fuel economy is very impressive. having driven the car for over 6000 kms, it was found to be delivering 17-18 kmpl in the city and 20 kmpl on the highway. Coming to the gearbox, it is neither buttery not notchy. Overall experience of the gear box was quite good, however the cable type shift system employed in the car doesnt seem to smoothen up the shifting experience. Comfort levels are just a tad above the Alto Std.
Ride Quality & Handling The car rides on bigger R13 tubeless tyres in comparison to leaner rubber on most of the competition, which proves a plus when it comes to ride quality and handling. K10 feels steady and well planted even at high speeds. Owing to the low profile design, body roll is almost negligible. The car gobbles minor potholes with aplomb and allows only major ones permeate into the cabin. Overall it rides and handles very well.
Final Words At a price point of sub-4k onroad, the car is total VFM. The Maruti Suzuki K-10 gives you the best of both worlds. A great performance paired with stunning fuel economy. The car also comes equipped with a good load of features for the price it sells. A great choice for being the first car.
Areas of improvement Had the manufacturer improved the vehicle in terms of cabin space especially headroom, a bit of width and legroom it would have been a best seller for MS.
Great mileage, great engine, great bundle of features & great overall Value for MoneyElongated front & Less spacious (does not score over Alto 800 FD in terms of space)Exterior/Styles

Exterior Good design. If one look at the car from the front side, it gives the impression of a pretty big car almost like a sedan 😄. From side, the look is not so great. It gives the old and very familiar alto look😦. Back side view is also better, especially the tail lamps and the highly placed brake lights. The rear wind shield is also good in shape giving a roomy feel from outside. I had taken the metallic black color which is shining when cleaned perfectly, but shows it's true color badly with dust and dirt. It's a pain to keep the black shining always.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is OK king. Not so great, but with this price point you cannot expect more. Digital odo/trip meter is good. Also, tacho/speedometer is designed ergonomically. Excellent AC, cools the interior in just a couple of minutes in the lowest position. (Not in the scortching sun, but moderately hot bangalore climate now). For an average built indian, the leg space is good, provided the front seats are not retracted completely backward. Bottle holders in front are designed just for 500 ml bottles. not a good design. Front doors has enough inner pockets for some storage. Three spoke steering wheel is very peppy and good response.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Pretty impressive pick up, even beat some of the mid segment sedans. Getting an fuel economy of 16KM in city with AC and 19KM on long drives that too with AC. Gear shift smooth, but facing some kind of difficulty proper slot placement especially for 3rd and reverse gears.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality good, but in slightly higher speed all the pot holes can be clearly felt inside the cabin. A wonderful drivers car. Power steering is very responsive, but feels very light once you cross the 90-100 mark. Does not give much needed confidence in the 3 digit speeds because of the very light steering. (Under 100KMPH, it's perfect and if you are not a high speed enthusiasist, it's not a prob. Ground clearance, many times felt not adequate for the most non scientifically designed bumps on the Bangalore roads.
Tyres are good. Tubeless ones and good road gripin reasonable speeds.
Final Words Overall, pretty good car in the price bracket. Accelerates rike a rocket in 2nd/3rd geras. Best option for routine city traffic and handling is pretty good in traffic.
Areas of improvement Music system in the high end model. Manual window for the rear seat could have been avoided. Even the glass does not roll out completely for rear windows. The glass stops at a 2 inch level above the door frame which is not at all impressive.
Good FE, great pick-up, excellent AC, good designLow ground clearance, less boot space, shock absorber- feels all potholes in cabinExterior/Styles

Exterior Not bad. Looks like a mini car. The car is well built and the doors have the typical heavy car door sound - they go THUNK when you shut them. The headlamps sport clear lenses.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Low boot space for tall persons, not a car for 5 persons only 4. AC is ok for the front seat only not for entire car. No compfort in side mirrors. Audio system provisions for back doors are not available. No digital clock. poor wheel base.
The dashboard is well laid out and is neat to look at - the instrument console (speedometer- fuel guage, temp guage, warning lights) is easily visible.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Good for non AC only. fuel economy is very very good in alto The boot is not as spacious as some cars in this category - You do miss the power steering though, especially at low speeds or while parking. Handling is lackluster and ride choppy. Do not even think about going corner-carving with this car.
Ride Quality & Handling Easy There are quite a few cubbyholes and the dash sports a pop-top storage box too. The plastic quality is poor and door pockets are good for nothing.
Final Words Cheap and best low maintenance small family car.
Areas of improvement Air conditioning, Internal space, improve wheel base.

Exterior
The Alto k10 AMT 2015 model is very stylish car.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Ample space in front. Need more leg room for back seaters. Adjustable dicky area. Clear rear view. Nicely designed speedometer panel and music player. Quickly cooling A/c.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Getting 25kmpl mileage on highway. I haven't noticed city mileage but I am sure it's above 20kmpl for sure. Engine has good performance but the power comes to wheel bit late so, quick accleration is not possible. Auto gear shift makes driving easy in city as well as on highway. Should keep speed below 120kmph for decent handling on highways. Responsive steering is another advantage. Suspension is also good. Engine/Cabin noise is noticeable with full load(4 people).
Ride Quality & Handling
Easy to handle the car in turning and curve. Steering is very good responsive so avoid quick tilt when riding in high speed. Ride quality is good in city and highway(since no clutch and gear change)
Final Words
No safety features. So, drive carefully. It's a really nice good looking car with great mileage. For this price, Alto k10 AMT does good job.
Areas of improvement
Need safety features like airbag and ABS. Price may go high but still... Back legroom space should be increased.
Very good mileageNo saefty feature
