A-Star a REAL STAR from Maruti Stable

This car is a refreshing change from the other small cars which are just copies of some original models of the respective manufacturers. A Star designed by Indian Engineers is a departure from other small cars in the range. Powered by a 3 cyl. 999 cc engine it has the optimum engine to body weight ratio which is why the fuel economy is achieved. More over other than the Maruti 796 CC engine on 800s, Omnis & Altos this is perhaps the only other 3 cyl. engine with a radically new concept. The bug-eye shaped headlamps may not look attractive to look at, but funtionally they are much better than conventional head-lights. The only draw-back is the cramped leg room for the rear-seat passengers. But given the overall dimensions this may not be possible to enhance any further.
