After Driving my Xylo E8 for 58000 Kms I am frustrated with the kind of quality Mahindra could deliver for a 9 Lac + car. I have spent Rs.87000/- for its maintainance other than numerous parts replaced in warranty period. Never have i got my vehicle done other than an authorised dealers.
(Average 5000 Kms service will cost u aside around Rs 6500/- + also.)
What I thought when I bought was a good investment. But now nearing only three years I come to a very painfull and frustrating experience (A xylo will eat upon your precious time and hard earned money) of maintaining a white elephant.
DO NOT GO FOR XYLO --- it is a worthless peice of utterly low quality pruduct.
Parts Replaced - Shaft(12000 Kms), Gearshift items (20000kms), Clutch Plates and complete suspension( 40000 Kms), Corrosion of doors - Bonnet- Windscreen Margin lining( Notice at 48000 Kms), Tensioner Bearing - Hose Pipe - Clutch realignment - Central locking - Gear Cross( 56000Kms) Suspension Bushes(Every 10000 Kms), blah blah blah . Hell of a time spent and wasted on frequent issues and numerous visits to the dealer. Saw a no of customers of xylo crying the same at the dealer.
I can say this after having an experience from a formerly owned QUALIS and INNOVA from Toyota.
