XUV 500 : Superb car to buy

It's superb car. The design and features are extreme. I don't understand how people are measuring the mileage but this car gives a mileage of atleast 16.5 in city and about 20 on highway if driven at 100 km/h. The maintenance is normal (not very high as said by other reviewers). It's a perfect match of power and features. I have driven it at 180 km/h and still felt the car to be very stable.

Awesome car but, the 3rd row lacks space for sitting and mileage is low. Mahindra could improve their engine power for better handling in highway roads. Could improve the space of the 3rd row seats. The sleek design is enchanting. Exterior was nice comparing to old xuv 500. So please improve the space of the back seat.

Car is really worth for your money with most of the premium features. Very comfortable in driving W11 gives eye catching looks with stylish front Grill and tail lights adds more beauty to the beast.

My dream car from ages

Mahindra should update the front dashboard design and adopt something new upgraded design and also try to update and provide good quality music system. Otherwise built quality is superb.

Good suv

Maintenance is bit on the higher side very spacious middle row, need better infotainment system overall a good car off road driving is also good, good for long distances bit hard to drive in city.

Value for money one of the best car .self using this car for last 6 years one of the best on performance wise as compare to other suv one of the best in segment as compare to price with other cars .not much service coast as compared to other hatchback cars.

POOR GPS

I've owned the W8 for almost 5 years now. All good. A wonderful experience. However there is one weakness which youI think you need to attend to, and that's the GPS. I took a ride in a friend's Verna and couldn't help but notice the clarity and user friendly GPS. It comes with the car. On the contrary, my GPS on the W8 is simply redundant because it isn't user friendly. The touch screen is sluggish and the software is dated. Compare it for yourself and please do something like an upgrade. I wouldn't mind paying for it, but it should be a competitor to my phone GPS.

Plush is BOLD in STYLE

The amazhing SUV and great value for money. Which never compromised in interior and exterior style. With a smooth POWERFUL engine. I love this world more with my best friend XUV 500 PLUSH live young live free. The one more thing. U people can add leather seat in W9 because there is huge price differ between w7 and w9 thank u. All For giving an amazing big thing.

Good one, but fuel consumption is high

Exterior Exterior is overall good.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Features, Space & Comfort are overall good.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Engine Performance and Gearbox function is also good, but Fuel Consumption is realy high. i.e. within the city around 6 km. and at highway around 8 km.

Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality and handling are overall Good.

Final Words I purchased this XUV500 (G-AT Petrol) from Kolkata Royal Motors on April 2018. My experience is overall good but it could be better subject to fuel consumption as well as knowledge of technicians of service centre. Since main satisfaction will be depending on getting a smooth and expert/ skilled services from the company end. As per my knowledge most of the technicians of workshop still have huge lake of knowledge on “Automatic Transmission & Petrol Engine” car, and I realized it after 1000 km ride, when the 1st check/ service made.

Areas of improvement As it's almost a new arrival, so Technicians of Service Centre must be well trained regarding “Automatic Transmission & Petrol Engine” car. Mahindra have to be focused on this issue seriously and promptly.
