Exterior Cheetah inspired exterior looks definetly draw eyes towards it. Chrome used at right places at right amount. Proper SUV look this vehicle has.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Seen lots of improvement in the interior quality & it looks fresh interiors as compared to old one. But still i will make a point there is a lot of scope to mahindra to improve plastic quality & fitings of it.
Best in class features is been offered at quiet good price , addition of sun roof makes it class apart. Driving with cruise control on was bliss.
First & second row seating is very well spacious . Seats are comfortable at suitable angle with proper underthigh support. Third row seating is bit narrow but still its better i felt i compared to other cars with third row.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Its 2.2 litre engine does proper justice. It delivers excellent power specially at higher gears. Driven car with full compliment on hilly areas , never felt any drag Or under power.
Fuel economy in the city is around 9-11 & on highways around 15-16 Kmpl. Gear shift quality need further improvement, need to be more smooth.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality & handling is smooth.
Final Words Definetly the best deal we can get which offers space, power, appealing looks , features of 20 lacs + cars at better pricing.
Areas of improvement NA.

Exterior
This really is a headturner. In the 3 months that I have owned the car, it certainly draws the attention and gets positive comments even from people outside India.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
It is full of so many features that no other SUV comes closure. The new version has better interiors and added features like sun/moon roof. The powered driver seat, best in class music system that doubles up as a navigation tool, cooled compartment for beverages, camera assisted parking and lights that get switched on when you turn the vehicle are just too good. Seating for 4 people is quite comfortable and even 6 to 7 is not a trouble at all.The touch screen interface disappoints at times, especially while using the phone in Bluetooth mode.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Have driven around 1800 km. Engine is quite responsive from 3rd gear on wards. 1st n 2nd is a bit of a lag at times but I guess that can happen to diesel vehicles. On wide open roads, it is a pleasure to drive the Cheetah. Fuel economy on Bangalore roads is around 10 km. Have not travelled log distance so can't comment on the mileage on highways. Gearbox is a little hard and can be better.
Ride Quality & Handling
Handling even within city limits has been quite good actually. Overall ride quality is good but suspension needs more attention.
Final Words
If you are looking at buying an SUV for the family, look no further and rely on the Cheetah. my family is quite satisfied with this value for money package. It's a thumbs up to Mahndra for this vehicle.
Areas of improvement
Gear box, hand break and the touch screen interface needs more refinement.

Bought XUV 500 w10 FWD after lot of research in themonth of march 2016. Its suspension was noisy the day i took the dilivery of veh. I switched over to XUV 500 from scorpio, but feel cheated as it is not a SUV its just a car.
Suspension makes noise with small speed breakers or path holes. its not ment for offroading at all. I feel cheated by Mahindra as this is my fourth veh from mahindra stable. the first one was jeep in 1982, then bolero followed by scorpio which i just disposed off. With that kind of association and love for SUV, I upgraded to XUV 500 w10. thinking that by now all initial issues must have been shorted out. if anybody wants to by I am ready sell. its a march 2016 model kilometer done 12000. pearl white color. Moreover my complains have gone unheard. the company is not responding.

Exterior It looks very like a urban suv. beautiful and muscular design. very attractive.
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) When you get into the cabin of xuv, you will feel like you are no sitting in suv which is cost overt 20 lacs. Fit and finish is cheap. Plastic quality is just okay, not acceptable for car of price of this. Seat are comfortable, but ride quality is not good compared to other rivals like CRYSTA,HEXA and COMPASS. You can feel bumps on bad roads. But its safe car too.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Performance is awesome. but other rivals offers more power and they performs excellent.
Ride Quality & Handling Handling is good but poor ride quality. you can be tortured on bad road in this SUV.
Final Words It was value for money product, but at present it is not a value for money. GO FOR INNOVA CRYSTA, TATA HEXA, JEEP COMPASS.

Exterior It is perfect with all aspects. Quite stylish
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) It is spacious enough. All essential features are present with comfortable sittings. Enoughhhhhh legroom so you can stretch all the way.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox This is the most impressive engine I have driven so far within this segment. Quiter, smoother and all just on a quick note. Fuel economy is good with compared to its competetiors. Gearbox is literally very smooth feals life feather touch.
Ride Quality & Handling Ride quality and handing is awesome. I usually drive on a high speed. I have tested this SUV and found it very much impressive with no complain at all.
Final Words I am very much curious about the cars. I have heard many negative reviews of this SUV before purchasing it. I found it good in test drive and later when I purchased, I found that I didn't make a mistake at all. I have driven 46000Kms so far and found no problem. The main key of any vehicle is its maintenance and service. Its service is not costly at all. If you have spent 20lakhs for a SUV then would you mind to spend 2K without oil change and around 10k with oil change???
This is very impressive and smooth vehicle and overall its really having value for your hard earned money.

Exterior Good and stylish. cheetah look is elegant. good good good good good good good good
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good. But there are so many unwanted noise which irritate. plastic parts quality is too bad.
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gearbox, clutch and whel drum bad quality. I have changed gearbox in 25000 km. clutch plate fail maintance cost is too high.
Ride Quality & Handling Good but there is noise always comes from all doors, seats , desk.
Final Words NOT RIGHT CHOICE.
Areas of improvement Noise should not come, engine performance should be better. Noise come from rear wheel that should not come. So finally says engine peformance should be good.
I have purchsed this car in november 2015. After purchasing car in every one month I have to put my car in work shop due to some problems. Dealer feedback is good but from company side I would like to say not proper response. Even if I have purchased top model of XUV 500, there is always some complains is there. So in short I would like to say it is not right choice. as value of money you should go with some other companies like Toyota, Hyundai. even there cost is high but you will get good product, good engine performance.
