This car has an very attractive look.. Nice interior and comfortable sitting capacity.. I love to ride xuv 500.. It's a superb car. I recommend others to buy too.. A thing i don't like that the spare parts are expensive.. Otherwise its an awesome car..

1. Buying experience was extremely awesome, I bought from Sireesh Auto Hosur Road Bengaluru.

2. My previous car was Honda Amaze diesel manual transmission. And coming from manual transmission to Automatic is much delightful but coming from sub 4 metre to full blown SUV size took some time to adjust. So far i am getting a mileage of 12 roughly in city traffic like Bengaluru which is good in my opinion. Steering is pretty light to drive with the body size it looks. Before buying XUV500 W10 AT I had Creta and Jeep compass on my cards. Creta lacks lot many features in AT but Compass being pretty solid vehicle lacks some of the features in AT and only available in petrol.

3. I bought Lake side brown color which on website doesn't looks appealing at all but in person it looks pretty good and it comes with premium black interiors which looks very good. Performance undoubtedly is rock solid, feature rich car.

4. So far i am in free service cycle so haven't paid anything yet.

5. Pros Feature rich in compare to very costly cars also 7 seater Bigger and wide wheel base gives you good ride experience and you feel planted on road always no body roll at all. Sun roof gives you premium feeling Cons Due to big size some small small sound comes sometime from door In automatic variant gear ratio for first and second will make you feel heavy vehicle but rest of the gear ratio is pretty good light driving experience. Overall good experience so far, recommended to all who are looking in this segment range.

1. The buying experience has been hassle free. Mahindra has always been top notch in terms of customer service 2. Riding experience has been quite comfortable there is not much lag in terms of a manual car the gear shifts are easy and the only thing it lacks is in terms of power slightly more power could’ve been a better experience in terms of driving 3. The looks is undoubtedly amazing it has an eye catching charm to it the only thing which bothers is less Perfomance, One could have a comfortable drive but not an Enthusiastic drive 4. In terms of Service and Maintenance it is quite decent for the size of the car. The average cost for service would be around 13-15 k per year which is not bad. Parts like clutch pad, sensors, break pads are expensive and needs to be changed after 40k kms or an average of 3 years. 5. Pro- comfortable, space full, average maintenance, durable and aggressive look Con- Hard plastic interior, less Perfomance and expensive parts

It is easy to buy on emi It is comfortable to ride but there is one problem in the back suspension Its look is to exclusive and i love it Maintenance is average..... Worth and value of money, nice experience, feel like bmw and audi, exterior and interior are nice look, performance will be good, maintenance will compulsory the suspensions will be good

Buying Experience - I bought the car from Koncept Mahindra - Noida sector 63 but registered in Chandigarh. The vehicle was ready in stock and they gave me a good offer on the insurance and a cash discount. Good dealer and a good sales team. Riding Experience - Its an ultimate pleasure to drive an automatic version of Mahindra XUV. Starting from a very smooth pickup, the way it cruises on the highway, effortless driving. I have taken the beast to Bhutan and the experience was simply amazing. Effortless driving where we have done almost 1600kms in less than 20 hrs on the east-west highway. The best part is the XUV gets respect on the highway especially on a single road with traffic coming from the opposite direction Looks - Its the most comfortable and affordable 7 seaters vehicle ever produced in India. The so-called Cheeta design is definitely muscular and allows the vehicle to cruise through on the highway really well. Performance - I have tested the vehicle up to 190 on the Agra- Lucknow expressway and the vehicle runs really smooth with no engine noise. I get a decent fuel average of 14.5KMPL if driven between 100-110kms on highways. In Delhi NCR traffic on this automatic one, I get around 10.5 KMPL. In a 15 lakhs package, I get most of the features like - Auto Torque Converter, Airbags, Cruise control, hill assist, park me home lights and a lot more. The service of the vehicle is done every 10000 Kms and the average costs of Rs 3500. Engine oil is changed every 20000Kms, Noida has one of the best service centers which caters only to XUV's or Scorpio's. Pro's and cons - this has been a family car and we call it as XUV and not the car. A couple of things where Mahindra needs to make changes or I ll say the scope of improvement in the plastic quality on the interiors. The luggage space needs to be increased.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Good. But there are so many unwanted noise which irritate. plastic parts quality is too bad.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Gearbox, clutch and whel drum bad quality. I have changed gearbox in 25000 km. clutch plate fail maintance cost is too high.

Ride Quality & Handling Good but there is noise always comes from all doors, seats , desk. 

Final Words NOT RIGHT CHOICE.

Areas of improvement Noise should not come, engine performance should be better. Noise come from rear wheel that should not come. So finally says engine peformance should be good.

I have purchsed this car in november 2015. After purchasing car in every one month I have to put my car in work shop due to some problems. Dealer feedback is good but from company side I would like to say not proper response. Even if I have purchased top model of XUV 500, there is always some complains is there. So in short I would like to say it is not right choice. as value of money you should go with some other companies like Toyota, Hyundai. even there cost is high but you will get good product, good engine performance.
