I have TUV 300 AMT T8. The company has given a defective car. It suddenly comes to neutral While driving my car has been in the company thrice regarding this issue but still the problem is not solved. Never buy a mahindra car as there back office operations are very bad and they are very rude. I regret the day I bought this vehicle

Biggest mistake by not listening to my Sardar friend who has had a bad experience with it. Nothing to compare with my scorpio.

Areas of improvement I dont see any improvement as the company knows very well that they care a XXXX if you rant and complain about their product as they know very well the judicial system is our country is not very effective. The only way out is to file  in court and fight it yourself as the lawyers can shift sides as has happened in my case. The day I was sold my TUV300 after a 40 day wait I was told day one during delivery that the steering will act hard for first few days. Now it is almost two months and 5000 odd kilometres and the steering is like driving a truck. "power steering my foot" I called up they didnt bother so I sent website contact my grievance and soon the responded as asked me to bring the vehicle to verna which is 120 kms away so I refused and they were kind enough to guage my anger and my frustation that they came and picked up my vehicle. There are no spare parts so they wait for spares to arrive from mumbai they come again to pick up my vehicle and when called they tell that the part is taken to the lathe to fix and beleive me this is a branc new vehicle and it has seen the lathe in the very first month. Now the front fork is make funny noises and I dont get the time to take it to the centre so I will update you what happens now and what is the answer.

only good lookeramt and the very fact that since I bought it it has seen more of the work shop than my home

Plssssss DON'T BUY MAHINDRA TUV300 - WE LOST TRUST AND ARE IN AGONY!!! FAULTY ENGINE IN BRAND NEW CAR Substandard parts (FAULTY GEARBOX) in brand new TUV300. Now they want to change engine after changing gear box. We were not able to drive the car at convenience even today after 3 months of purchase. No concern from dealer or Mahindra after contacting multiple times. Worst service - lost money and dissatisfied.

I am now completely fed up with your "diagnosis-service-testing-ret

Esting" rounds that have already been carried out so many times with my TUV300-AMT. My vehicle is not an R&D resource for Mahindra Motors Company, that you will keep on researching at the cost of my time, money and risk of life. After 2 rounds of service at your workshop and 2 rounds of engineer's visit, inspection and analysis at my place, now I cannot allow you once again to pick-up my vehicle for doing R&D at your workshop.

You have caused enough inconvenience to me so far. I had not even imagined that I would have to face this type for trouble and life-threatening problem when I was spending almost 12 Lacs bucks at the Mahindra showroom. You can't experience the magnitude of panic that I have faced so many times while driving this vehicle. You are in speed and suddenly when you need to apply brakes and slow down your vehicle, it bangs and speeds-up further. Till date I am safe but on any unfateful day I can meet with an accident damaging myself and others on the road, even causing risk of life. This is a situation which simply can't be adjusted or avoided any more.

I request you to ask Mahindra company to replace this defective piece of vehicle at the earliest. I have all the valid, logical and legal reasons behind saying this and I can't revert now. If you keep on insisting for further inspection & rectification rounds, I will have to initiate legal action against you for forcing me in a situation where either I can't use my vehicle or use it with a danger to harm myself or others on road. I have all the complaint and service records preserved with me, malfunction videos saved and statements of your mechanic and engineer recorded- which are sufficient prove to back my matter case. I have even come to know that more buyers are fed up with TUV 300AMT and facing exactly the same difficulties in their vehicles like me. Some of them also are seriously thinking to initiate legal action against Mahindra.

Exterior Looks are good, road presence.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Noise from left window when audio system is on. Noise from front left seatwhile driving. Spelling of audio in system is---aduio ---very unfortunate & not acceptable.

The sound of the sound system as we start the vehicle is very loud and bangs the ear hard. GPS software seems to be very old & not updated.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox Defective AMT- gone for repair at 2000km only. They claim that AMT is being outsourced from Ricardo? Despite spending a good deal of money on purchasing the vehicle , I am roaming in the Mahindra workshop.

I am literally crying after buying this vehicle as I bought it against the wishes of my family members as they have proved my decision of buying this vehicle as wrong.

Ride Quality & Handling Ok, not very good. The rear tyres give a slip & skid. Difficult to handle the AMT vehicle during moving up a flyover or slope.

Final Words Defective AMT. Finishing not good. Only the body is sturdy but the engine and infrastructure is not good.

The happiness of buying the vehicle has been belittled by the defective AMT and roaming around the worshop, instead of driving the vehicle.

Areas of improvement AMT, Finishing, Spellings in sound system display, Lackdaisical attitude in servicing.

      Road presence, looksDefective AMT, NVH

Have purchased T8 Variant in Jan 2018. Have driven around 2000 km still now. My experience had been great, you can say like riding a monstor. Got good mileage of 16 - 16.5 km/lit on mixed rides (Traffic & Highway) in power mode. Hope the mileage increases after first service. The car is so powerful you can trust while overtaking and I specifically like the additional features like corner lights while turning, ESS hybrid mode, ECO mode, ECO AC mode etc. In slow rides on bumpy roads the car is bit rough, but you cannot expect a sedan comfort feel on off road vehicles. The clutch and gear are bit rough & tough like a jeep, but its good as I prefer offroad monsters. Overall Great driving experience with good fuel efficiency and great features. Will give my review again after driving 5000 km.

I have driven this car for few hundrend km,but this engine is power less according to my experience,If we talk about comfort. Than I totally disappointed. As bcuz this car is not fullfill such comfort which Xylo offer. If we talk about its 2nd and 3rd row seat its totally like as Bolero, every thing is same, apart from some sme changes like dashboard, or some infortaintment system. Xylo is better than this car other wise bolero slx or zlx.

Exterior The front view just remind the international model of JEEP, The dimension ration resemblance with HUMMER, The boxy design is enhancing the toughness of the design.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) Interior is good compared to price, the Display has enhance the show, the interior lighting fro front & Rear seats, Auto lamp at gloce box are the added points. However The Jump seats are not comfortable for 2 no of grown ups.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox 1500 cc M Hawk engine is a trusted one, the 2500 cc one is sucessfully driving the scorpio n XUV, Economy yet to be tested in all terrein but must be good with economy mode for city, the incorporation of micro hybrid mode also enhance the economy of vehicle.

Gear Box is OK but at the near most position of the driving seat the same is touching the arm rest.

Ride Quality & Handling Lumber support & armrest ensures quality riding, steraring wheel is hard compared to other cars.

Final Words Best value for money of the segment. With sub 10 lakh Price segment TUV easily far better that its competetors (Maruti ertiga and Honda mobilio)

Areas of improvement Leather wrapped stearing wheel and gear knob will be better. The Smaller wheelbase may be replaced with bigger one. steel rimmed spare wheel may be replaced with alloy wheels. Middle seat arm rest may be introdused.

Variable performance parameters(Micro Hybrid/ Economy mode for city)Smaller wheelbase inspite of ample area for larger one

Exterior TUV 300 comes with Blazing Bold and Stylish looks. Though peoples are comparing it with Bolero, but TUV can't be compared with that. It has much stylish looks and in every aspect its far beyond and better then Bolero. Also Peoples talking about its Boxy style. Isn't Scropio, Ford endeavour, Honda SUV, Pajaro etc. has similar looks? and they are very much recognized SUV in their own class. TUV looks Bold and Tough from the looks and you can feel while driving. One can feel its presence on the road.

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort) TUV T8 comes with fully featured infotainmaint system with bluetoot connectivity that can play songs and you can call on the fly. Interiors looks very clean and the chrome finishing will give you a feel of a class. Space and comfort is as per expectation. You can feel comfortable in long journeys as well as in the city. This is the only SUV with 7 Seats in this Price band and the seats are quite enough to accommodate 2 adults with 5`2``  to 5`6`.

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox The Mhawk engine is a success for Mahinhdra Scropio. the same is used in TUV. So no way to comment on that. It is good and the rear wheel drive makes it more easier to drive the vehicle easily. ESS & Eco mode is valueable when you are driving it in the City. Fule economy is good compared to other cars on this segment.  It has gratee turning radious, streeing is very easy to use and light to move you SUV comfortably.

Final Words Mahindra TUV meets all my expectation in terms of its design, safety, comfortable drive. If anyone looking for its first SUV from its hatchback cars. TUV is the right choice in the Price Band with all features for City and Long Drives.

Impressive features, Good mileage, Bold LooksNA

      Exterior: good and decent

Interior (Features, Space & Comfort): good

Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox: engine doesnt give the thump, fuel economy is good for this sized vehicle, heavy sound under the gearbox(like hitting a metal when the vehicle goes on bumps or speedbreakers)

Ride Quality & Handling: rear wheel skids in teh air when you ar etrying to get on a slope from a side. This feature from Mahindra- they say its a common feature with all rear-wheel drive vehicles. I doubt it.

      Final Words

Overall Experience: Am not satisfied neither am I disliking the car. its the best I could buy at this price, but, I cannot beleive this car was not throughly tested before getting it on road. I doubt if they have really spent 1500 crores on research and testing this vehicle.

1.The rearwheel skids in the air while getting on slopes, the answer given to my by Mahindra was that this happens with all rearwheel drive cars, which is not, I have my brothers SUV which does not do so.2. The doors are starting to show issues within 2 months of the purchase of my TUV, the tail door doesnt close properly and there is noise coming from both front doors.3. When we apply a sudden brake, there is hell lot of noise and I think its with the front disc brakes.4. There is a sound coming from underneath the gear box as if its hitting some metal, when going on bumps or speedbrakers.5. Within a month 2 parts in the engine have been replaced ( i do not remember the names, one was resonator and the other was something else)

      Areas of improvement

Needs to improve sturdiness, rear wheel revolves in the air, gear box, doors sounds, front brakes
