Riding experience: Got home service for a test drive with multiple vehicles and I finally picked up Thar for its history and classic but rugged looks. The vehicle is very smooth while driving because of power steering and power breaks. Ground clearance is very good and the suspension is perfect for off-roading and adventure drive through jungles and hilly areas.
Details about looks, performance etc: Look wise there is no comparison of Thar except Jeep Wrangler. I always get special attention in Bangalore Traffic because of the macho look. I enjoy my drive to office. AC is very powerful.
Servicing and maintenance: Anant Car Service, Hulimavu, the experience is awesome, each customer gets special attention from the appointed Service Managers. Jobs are done to my satisfaction and I get test drives after each job.
Pros and Cons: That is an adventure vehicle and comes only with the bare minimum fittings. Passengers at the rear seats are not comfortable as its suspension is bumpy.
