The Indian powerhorse

Mahindra's Scorpio can be compared to the advent of the Industrial Revolution in Europe; the ways of the people change overnight.  The Scorpio has, similarly, brought about a sea change in the SUV segment and has put India firmly on the global map. The vehicle is rugged, a pleasure to drive, powerful and surprisingly agile for its size and bulk. The exteriors, unfortunately, are not very nice, but the powertrain, and the handling, more than make up for the inherent deficiencies. We, Indians, should be proud that we can build such a vehicle, which has also gained international acceptance in difficult markets, against stiff competition. Jay Ho Scorpio !
