Exterior
Great front styling and also front 3/4th is great, but in focus of the fact that this should be a Sub- 4 Meter, rear 3/4th is rather ugly. Rear is again good. Great size makes it stand out on the roads, doesn't even lose it's precence on road with Fortuners and EcoSports nearby
Interior (Features, Space & Comfort)
Great interior styling, a proper Multi-Color display is lacking, but has many functions and does them well and also handles all the functions unlike many cars (specifically Vitara Brezza) which have a huge screen which can't handle things properly. I loved the perfectly attractive positioning of the Gear Knob. Fit and finish is great, unlike many people's belief, it is in par with Hyundai and Maruti fitting levels. This car is smaller than the Swift and other hatches like Elite i20, but has quite a decent legroom, in fact is slightly bigger than the Swift or maybe feels so because of it's Beige interiors (compared to the black seats of the Swift I sat it)
Engine Performance, Fuel Economy and Gearbox
Not so powerful as I expected from a Mahindra (taking Scorpio and XUV in considerance) but is quite powerful and doesn't feel laggy anywhere, it's power to weight ratio is actually better than the Scorpio and others. Gear shifting sometiomes feels rubbery especially on shifting to Reverse Gear. Fuel Economy has fascinated me a LOT! Just one of the Best in Class (Even on road) unlike the Swift Dzire which promises 25+ kpl but offers less than 14 kpl on road
Ride Quality & Handling
Suspension is great and also enhances comfort while driving, helps easily go over ditches and speedbreakers without breaking. Body roll feels a bit much sometimes (considering it's dimensions), but doesn't effect handling. It easily steers on sharp cuts, but needs us to get a bit slow in some cases
Final Words
Great car and is worth going for, than going for the more popular Swift/ Grande i10/ Brio. This is great but is not comparable to Full-Size SUV's(Scorpio, XUV 500)/Full-Size Hatchbacks (Baleno, Elite i20)
Areas of improvement
Positioning of Dashboard on 6-Seater variant makes seating of 6th passenger almost impossible (if an adult). Boot space could be a bit more enhanced (around 270 Litres)
Many storage places, Great mileage, Standard ABS and EBD, Great Interiors'Not So Great' Rear 3/4 Styling, No AMT (is there even on TUV 300)
