The no nonsense car

We booked our Kia Seltos HTK plus iMT petrol variant , sparkling silver colour on August 8 , 2022 by paying 25000 rupees. We made the final payment by December , 2022 . It was an amazing buying experience. We got our car on January 11 , 2023. This is our first car after a long gap of thirty years. As a child , I grew up abroad in United Arab Emirates. Because , my father worked there. Our family was living in UAE. So my father used cars like Honda Accord , Toyota Cressida , Mazda 626 1.8 GLX , Mitsubishi Galant Super Saloon and Mazda 929 LX Sport and also an Opel and a Volvo too. So as a child , I grew up seeing these vehicles. When my father passed away in 1992 , we left UAE and came back to India in 1993. So since 1993 , we have never had a chance to own a car. So this Kia Seltos is our car after a long gap of thirty years. Right now I am in cloud nine ! So happy to own one and drive one. I have only clocked 1033 kilometres. So far , my first service got over. It's going to be time for my second service. Which is by the end of June. I am extremely happy with my car. I have only done three short journeys in my car. It is very comfortable and spacious inside. It is a big car. It looks like a proper sports utility vehicle. Even though it is a soft roader. It's silky smooth gear shifts are a treat to the mind. It's ride quality is smooth. It's suspension absorbs most of the road undulations. It has a relaxed cruising kind of ride on the highway. The steering is very comfortable and smooth. But what I am worried about is the safety rating. It scores three stars for adult passengers and two stars for child safety. Put that aside , I love this Seltos. Since , there is no clutch , it's a boon to shift gears . Overall , it's a gem of a car !
