Seltos is a car you can go ahead and buy without a doubt. Safety, Styling, Car Driving Dynamics, Performance-Oriented GDI and very impressive diesel engine, technological advantage, cabin space, seating comfort, features all goes very well and if priced right- you can expect Kia Seltos to be a new benchmark of Mid SUV segment in India. Riding experience of this car is outstanding specially in 1.4 litre 7-speed DCT automatic that gives you these different traction modes like Snow, Sand and Mud. Ride quality is superb around the corners with great stability on the highways. Looks of this car are tiger-nose grille at the front and rear looks are simple and elegant with large glass area and it gets LED and DRLs as standard across all variants . Performance of this car is outstanding in 7 speed DCT automatic because it performs very well and it reaches 0-100 kph in just 9.51 seconds. Kia claiming that DCT is more fuel-efficient than it's a manual transmission. Servicing and maintenance of this car is just average because there are less service stations of KIA Motors in India at this current period and first service of this car around 10000 is free after that next service on 20000 is paid and maintenance of this is very good and it gives 25000 for 6 years and not much expensive to maintain the car. There are some Pros and Cons of this car:- PROS:- 1.) It drives very smoothly around the corners, stability is too much good, steering response is too good, fun to drive, ride quality is best without no body roll, good ergonomics. Top-notch braking effectiveness with ABS and all-wheel disc brakes, good visibility and 6-speed manual transmission is very easy and slick to use. 2.) Refinement levels are top-notch by all standard. 3.) For DCT Automatic if offers 6 driving modes - Eco, Normal, Snow, Sand, Mud and Sport mode making car best fit for almost any road conditions. 4.) The suspension is tuned for the comfort-oriented drive. 5.) Plastic quality on dashboard is superb with best quality materials, rear seat comfort is also good with ample of legroom and provides rear seat recline which enhances better comfort for long drives, smart air purifier, ventilated front seats, Rear AC vents, sunshade curtains all adds up to comfort for passengers. 6.) It offers too much safety along with all 4 wheels disc brakes, traction control, ESP, Hill Assist, Hill Descent Control, 6 Airbags, ABS with EBD, Brake Assist, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System, Head-Up Display, 360-degree camera, Blind View Camera which switches on when you turn on the indicators. 7.) It comes to 10.25inch touchscreen infotainment with embedded sim along with UVO connect feature where one can connect and interact with car with over 37 smart features. Though UVO connects one can feel connected with the car, know car location, speed. 8.) It also provides essential features like electric sunroof, wireless charging, ambient mood lighting and sound mood lighting is another advantage, 8 Bose speaker surround system. 9.) It gets even advanced remote engine start, remote AC on. Comes with a good touch interface with Android Auto, Apple Car Play with Voice Command. 10.) NVH levels are top-notch without any noise and vibrations and it's silently to drive. CONS:- 1.) Some variants are expensive to buy 2.) No Paddle shifters 3.) Heating Wave issue. 4.) Rear seat under-thigh support is not great. 5.) After-sales service is not good and that's might be a problem for everyone as the manufacture will take some time to set up the service network across the country. 6.) Build Quality is not great as the compass, Harrier and Hector and they are better built.
