Jaguar Cars

Jaguar is the luxury vehicle brand of Jaguar Land Rover, a British multinational car manufacturer with its headquarters in Whitley, Coventry, England. The Jaguar Land Rover has been a subsidiary of Tata Motors since they founded it for the acquisition of Jaguar Cars Limited and Land Rover from Ford in 2008. In the same year, Tata Motors, a part of the Tata Group, established Jaguar Land Rover Limited as a British-registered and wholly owned subsidiary. This company was to be used as a holding company for the acquisition of the two businesses from Ford – Jaguar Cars Limited and Land Rover.

On 1 January 2013, the group, which had been operating as two separate companies underwent a fundamental restructuring. The parent company was renamed to Jaguar Land Rover Automotive PLC, while the Jaguar Cars Limited was renamed to Jaguar Land Rover Limited and the assets of Land Rover were transferred to it. This ensured that Jaguar Land Rover Limited was responsible in the UK for the design, production and marketing of both Jaguar and Land Rover products.

Some of the popular cars sold with the Jaguar badge are the XE, XF and the F-Pace. Speaking of luxury, the company offered the XJ L while the F-Type has been a performance focussed offering from the company. The company has also been working on its all-electric SUV, the I-Pace which hunkered down to the ground with the muscular wheel arches and a raked windshield.
